I am very familiar with changing the build.prop release keys on my droid 1 for such purposes as revealing apps in the market I wouldnt otherwise be able to see... or stopping those pesky OTA updates.
Question one: Can I change the release keys to the newest FRG83D keys?
Question two: I noticed that in the build.prop on my nook only has one ro. line for release keys where as my phone has 2. would I need to mimic my phone and add the extra line? (seems unnecessary)
Any input would be appreciated.
nobody?
nothing?
I'm using a custom Sense 5 rom, and was wondering how do you enable it. I already tried the build.prop trick, but it didn't work. Anything i'm missing? Yes I know there's the capacitive buttons, but there's already a on-screen menu button. Might as well turn it into the whole nav button. And yes, I know I can disable the on-screen menu button, but I like to SEE if there's a menu button in the app. Plus i'm coming from a GNex, so i'm used to the nav bar.
Anyone?
I want softkeys as well, but my experience is that it doesn't work with other than cm/aosp roms. Anyone that knows why or a workaround?
I've already got a great app to dim my capacitive buttons completely (there's only two, no need to awkwardly guess where they are), I would like to know if anyone has found a working solution for enabling Nexus-style software navigation keys.
If not, are there any developers willing to figure it out?
Anyone?
I tried the build.prop hack to no avail, so that's a no-go.
Hi users.
Does anyone has an idea how to change the menu button on the navigation bar with the recent apps button??
Tried g2tweaksbox and when I enter the sub menu in settings to change the layout the settings app gives fc.
Anyone has any other idea or solution to change that button?
Thanks.
Sent using my GFlexing phone ? ?
Not a total solution, but I don't use the softkeys.... I use pie controls. They stay hidden until you swipe from the bottom , left or right screen sides. With it you can have any button combos, color, size or actions.
Works awesome. Assuming your rooted and use xposed

You need Root permissions, besides the Xposed and module Xstana, next run Xstana and restart phone to changer, I have it installed on my LGL23 and working perfectly

Xstana module only themes your navigation bar and I need to replace the menu button not to theme it.

What is this setting for if there are no hardware buttons and you can't escape the settings, and even if you do it's gonna be very hard to navigate the phone...maybe it's a remnant from another BLU phone?
