The serial number is case sensitive, and MUST be the serial number on the box your phone came in.

[Q] Bootloader unlock problem

So I followed the bootloader unlock directions but at the end when I enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0x(My Key Here) it comes back:
Failed (remote: Command not allowed)
Using the previous "getvar version" line it seems like my phone is connected properly. What can I do to solve this?
Thanks!
First you need to be sure if you can unlock the bootloader or not but checking the service info.
If i remember correctly i think you have to remove one number from your key.

Yeah, I got the key from unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com. As you said, I had to discard the last digit to make it 14 characters, but the code was sent to me all the same. I'm not sure that's the issue though

Do you have bootloader unlock status= yes in service menu?
Maybe you have succeeded the unlock process, try to root it now.

Obtaining Product ID/ Bootloop Issue.

Hey guys,
Need some help here as I've checked everywhere I possibly can and can't find the answer. I've flashed the latest official ROM on 5.1.1 which worked and somewhere down the line it ended up in a bootloop. I've tried wiping data through the official recovery and still nothing. Anyways my bootloader was unlocked and after the ROM it got locked again. In order for me to unlock it again I need the Product ID which is hard now considering I can't access the phone setup. Checked the phone box and no luck. Is there anyway you guys know I can get the product ID through adb/fastboot commands?
Also I've tried the forced update method to get it working again but for some reason it keeps failing at around the 90percent mark possibly due to a corrupt partition.
Appreciate the help guys.

Help me, can you make a Product id for Honor 4x Che1-L04 . My IMEI 1 is 866941023209990 and IMEI 2 866941023232000 . I'm stucked on fastboot and can not access me device to get the product id by using the code.
try 91715224 (1st IMEI) or 64080242 (2nd). you have to type Che1-L04 as Product Model in request unlock code form. don't add Huawei, Honor 4x, etc.

i'm not sure about exact Product Model/Number and i need exact name to calculate Product ID code (this string and IMEI are part of algo for calculation). can u check this at your phone settings or ask someone with same phone to check? i saw some video on youtube for A1 and it was "Huawei Y301A1", but not sure for A2.

The phone doesn't boot currently, however, from the information behind the battery I think it should be a Huawei Vitria Y301-A2.
Thanks.

I tried the fastboot OEM unlock code command. I am not really sure if the problem is the actual device or the code. The following is what I get when I try to unlock the bootloader:
Code:
C:\Users\Antonio>fastboot oem unlock 201137956925371
< waiting for device >
...
(bootloader) Unlocking ...
OKAY [ 0.121s]
finished. total time: 0.124s
C:\Users\Antonio>fastboot oem unlock 201137956925371
< waiting for device >
...
(bootloader) Unlocking ...
OKAY [ 0.061s]
finished. total time: 0.067s
On each attempt the phone restarts as it would be to expected to, however when i re-enter fastboot mode it still reports as being locked.
same happends when u try wrong code? or it just reject it. i'm not an expert, but read that some devices aren't unlockable (carrier decision). like here with motorola:

Go to
https://emui.huawei.com
You will have to log in with a Huawei id or Facebook.
Choose reformatting lock. It will be somewhere in the top right or nearby there.
Enter your device serial, IMEI and ID, all of which are explained how to obtain there and you will get an unlock code.
If it does not work, as PalakMi said, go to the Chinese website to obtain it then.

please don't post your IMEI number on here for security
can you get into Bootloader still?

Do you try with the three buttons method?

This is the last resort method which uses DC-Phoenix and costs money, if your phone is bootloader and FRP locked:
