Hi guys, because of Moto G 3rd gen coming up in a week, it would be wise to change thea name in XDA forum. I think that the actual name "Moto G 2015" should be changed in "Moto G 2014 LTE" or "Moto G 2nd Gen LTE". What do you think?

I agree aswell but IMO they should move this forum to 4G Development of Moto G 2014 just like falcon/peregrine.
Moto G 2nd Gen LTE is what it should be called. moto g 2015 is NOT this phone lol
I have contacted XDA Webmaster because I thought it could cause confusions (with 3rd Gen Moto G).
He sent my mail to the forum moderators (i f I do remember well) and as you can see : they changed the name !
In my mail I linked this thread to give more power to my suggestion, so thanks to all those who participated !
I also suggested we could do like falcon and peregrine but I think it's too late to merge these two forums...

I have a little problem with this renamed forum. For one thing I cannot find it on Tapatalk. Additionally I don't see any Moto G 2014 LTE subscribed subforums within my XDA Profile or with Tapatalk. It's like the forum doesn't exist, although I subscribed to them.
Has anyone the same problems? Which person from the XDA staff should I contact to report this?

Yes same here, can't be found in Tapatalk, presumably because of the name change. I hope someone can fix it!
This problem was already there before the name change. @Vibsi if you want to contact xda there is a button at the bottom of this page. There they explain how to contact them and who from the staff will solve which problem.

Has anyone whatsoever found a "one click root" app solution for the Moto x 2014 AT&T edition currently running Android 5.1 yet? If not available still whatsoever then I must plead with each and all of u to plz assist me I beg ya! I issue a personal challenge to whoever happens to read this thread that has a good heart and think ya possibly possess the talents and skills necessary to develop a one click root solution for it to make it happen for me and everyone else that's been struggling for years to find a solution and you'll undoubtedly go down in xda history as the legendary person to make the impossible possible when absolutely nobody else could! Serious bragging rights for life right there! please I beg of one of you extremely talented highly intelligent droid developers or unbelievable users to be a true hero and save the day please!!! Wrong forum. This forum is for the 2014 moto x. You have the 2013. You will get better help and responses in the other forum.

Ok so now moto delete the patch note information from there own site. And now there is only one thing the document has been removed, document not found or the link has been expired.what it means. I don't know when the oreo will come to moto . But moto have to do something about the g series update issue if some one have any good news please tell us about that.
I just got off the phone with Motorola and they confirmed I was accidentally shipped a factory test model.
I don't even really know what all I can do with it. I can't unlock the bootloader (it was an early Christmas present) as it's an Amazon "exclusive" device... But Motorola wants me to contact Amazon so they can start processing it for return to Moto.
I don't know if I necessarily want to send it back, just yet. I have until Jan 31, 2019 to make that decision. I saw a post on Reddit where a guy sold an OLD (first gen) Moto X or G (can't remember) with the same testing firmware for 800$ dollars used! I'm not trying to profit from their mistake, or make any money from it.
The only modifications I do to my Androids are Root and flash customs, and being as the bootloader "doesn't qualify for unlock" from the website, it's not a priority...
Is there anyone out there that has more knowledge of these things or anyway I can contribute back to my beloved XDA developers forum with it? I suppose one would have to pm me about it... Anyway, I hope I posted this in the right spot Mod. I usually only post replies when helping other people with obtaining root. Thanks in advance everyone!!!!
