Dear members,
I have a Samsung ATIV S (GT-I8750), below the version informations:
OS version: 8.10.14157.200
Firmware revision number: 2424.14.9.3
Hardware revision number: 15.15.1.0
Bootloader version: 14.09.3.16
Chip SOC version: 1.5.32
I've tried various unlocking methods (editing registry, native toast message, helper app) but all failed which I guess is due to the OS version being too high. The toast notification is never shown, I guess it's fixed in this version.
My questions are the following:
[*]What GDR do I have? Is this GDR3 or GDR2? (8.10.14157.200)
[*]Is there any method currently that can interop unlock the phone with this version? (8.10.14157.200)
[*]Can I unlock the phone that's already updated to 8.1? Or should I unlock while it's still 8.0 and the upgrade to 8.1?
Thank you!!!
bump, please help me

I managed to get my Windows Phone 8.0 to GDR3 through a russian rom and I have a dev account that's signed in on the phone, but for some reason the 8.1 update isn't coming through. After installing GDR3, I have no updates.
Is anyone experiencing a similar issue?
Did you install the Preview for Developers app?

Hello guys,
I am new to the XDA Forum but I always look for help on this site and the truth that has helped me a lot. (Sorry for my English, it's not as good as I'd like)
I need to unlock the bootloader of my Huawei P10, below I wrote more details of the device. Huawei no longer provides the unlock code, so I turned to DC Unlocker.
When I tried to read the unlock code, DC Unlocker Client shows error 375. I asked DC Unlocker support about this problem and I sent them my cell phone information. They answered the following: "This means that current version of android in your Huawei device has new sec patch and is not supported yet."
For your information, the details of the device are the following:
Model: VTR-L09
Build number: VTR-L09 8.0.0.365(C178)
EMUI version: 8.0.0
Android version: 8.0.0
Android security patch: 5 december 2018
Is there another way to unlock the bootloader? :crying:
Thanks in advance

Use HWOTA to downgrade to a lower version of your emui
VTR-L09C178B361 (8.0.0.361)
VTR-L09AC178B361 (8.0.0.361)

When you're finished downgrading try reading bootloader code through dc-unlocker and it should work.

This won't work. HWOTA needs TWRP and TWRP needs an unlocked bootloader.
@ghernandez94: It seems DC team has some issues in the last months to unlock phones. The support should give you refund if you ask them.
You could try HCU. I never used both, so I can't say if HCU is better or not.

without unlocked boadloader i think its imposible to flash any version manually. You need to wait for ota according your model and country.
The update is already there.
You just need to login/register into Huawei ID and install the official Beta App:
consumer.huawei.com/de/support/fut/
Start the App, login and select the update.
Switch back to software upgrade app, your phone will update to 9.1 ASAP

Good day to all. I want to update my S10 to Android 10 UI 2.0 but I am afraid of the outcome (hard brick) due to past experiences with my previous devices.
I went to Settings >Software Update>It states that My software is up to date
One UI Version : 1.1
Android : 9
I ordered my unlocked samsung device on Ebay. It is AT&T Unlocked : G973U

I would like assistance on which firmware I should use.
I have the same issue. Not able to update my phone from Android 9 to Android 10
Hi everyone. i searched the forum but did not find any suitable information, i hope i did not miss anything.
I have a Nokia 8, Model: TA-1004 (Dual SIM), running the latest known stock update to me Android 9 00WW_5_15G_SP04.
I have some company SW on the phone which starts to make a fuzz about the to old Android version (9) so i have to either buy a new phone or update the current one. Problem is that my company does not allow any rooted devices. Is there any chance to update it to a newer version of Android without root?
Does anybody know? The phone is otherwise great and it would be a bugger having to buy a new one just because of this.
Best regards and thanks a bunch for any possible help here.
regards
You can put Android 12 Pixel Experience on it, default is unrooted. But ofcourse you need to unlock the bootloader.
Thanks for your reply. Now that sounds interesting. I will have to check how that is done. Have not done that before.
Have you got a link for that rom somewhere?
Regards
Basicly all is covered here: https://wiki.pixelexperience.org/devices/NB1/install/
Nokia Bootloader Unlock Took doesn't work anymore but you can still unlock using this guide: https://www.techmesto.com/guide-unlock-bootloader-nokia-android-phones/
After bootloader unlock you can install T-Virus, it includes PixelExperience Android 12, then just take OTA to latest version.
