Best app to free RAM? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

So I'm using Greenify to hibernate apps when the screen is off. But I'm wondering what you guys use to keep RAM freed up?
I want to receive notifications from email and social media but don't really care about other notifications. I'm looking for something to automatically free up ram when I lock the screen.
Thoughts?

Because the device starts to lag after some period of time. Takes 3 seconds to get to home screen after pressing the home button at times.
RAM usage nears 90% and the phone stays at a steady 85% almost all the time

[Q] Lumia 920 low battery

Hey guys,
i got yesterday my Nokua Lumia 920 and i have some problems with my new baby.
The battery life is not really the best with normal usage for me (Music+Whatsapp and reading news) i got about 6-7h.
do u have some tips how i can save more energy ? I turna always my mobile data off and ofc my wifi and gps. Do u recommend the "Windiws Phone Power Safvr Mode"? Does it help ?
Thanks
I know NFC/wireless charging is a huge feature of the new Lumia, but everyone that I've seen complain about battery life says that turning NFC off saves a lot. You can always charge with the usb cable/adapter.

thanks mate, i´ll give a try. i turned the nfc off. lets see does it work.
NFC off helped mine. Since I don't need the NFC all the time I don't leave it on. No big deal if you ask me. Also check your background tasks.

The performance is very good. Not simular to android, but great with the animations and without any lags. The worst thing is that wp8 closes automaticly your apps when u hit on the home button. So i always have to start whatsapp over and over again.
I´m coming from Samsung Galaxy S II with Android 4.1 CyanogenMOD 10 aka Siyah Kernel

What do u mean with background tasks ? Push mail is on and WhatsApp.
I turned NFC off as well.
Windows Phone does *not* close apps when you press the Start button. Instead, it suspends them; they receive no CPU time*, so they don't drain the battery, but they can be resumed exactly where they were left whenever you want, instantly (although if the phone gets low on RAM, it will start to "tombstone" the apps to persistent storage and then remove them from RAM, which causes the resume to take a moment).
However, the general requirement for third-party apps on WP7 was that they must always launch clean when launched from the Start screen (including app list). The OS could either resume them or do a clean launch, and it was technically up to the app developer to choose, but MS would reject apps from the store that resumed instead of launching cleanly. In WP8, that restriction is removed (or so I've heard), but the apps need to be updated to take advantage of it.
To get back to a suspended app, you use the Back button. Either tap on it to go backward one level in the navigation history (for example, if you accidentally hit Start, you would hit Back to get back where you were), or press-and-hold it for a moment to open the task switcher, which allows you to jump into and resume any app that is resident in memory.
* Some apps are designed to continue running in the background, and will consume power. However, very much unlike Android where almost everything seems to enjoy sitting in the background gnawing on the battery, an app must be specially coded to do this, and for the store to approve it there must be a valid reason for the behavior.

when memory usage above 1.5G, no ring tone, no touch sound, no lock screen sound.

Hi, I have an ATT note 3 with NB4 firmware, rooted, recently I noticed I had many miss calls, I found out if the RAM usage is high like above 1.5g,
I lost my ring tone and lock screen sound, also not keyboard touch sound Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks
Did you install some sort of ram freeing software?

None, I use Ti back freeze all the att bloatwares and some Google services I don't use, also some Samsung stock apps.
The sound come back after I clear some memory, it below 1.5gb, I didn't notice that happened when I was on MJ5.
thanks

After reboot, memory is around 1gb.
It drive me nuts, because I don't know when it will reach above 1.5gb, I can see the incoming calls, but no ring tone.
I can only recommend hard reset / wipe. Mine is also 1gb on reboot and the after that is constantly at around 2gb during the day and I get no missed phone calls or any ring tone problems. I used to have the qmm_camera_daemon problem where the process was draining my battery like crazy and camera stopped working after a period of time just for sitting in my pocket although worked perfectly at boot. It might be something similar but with the sound, unless you want to uninstall all the apps, it can be any...
Edit : forgot to mention, for me it was the yahoo messenger plug in that caused the camera freeze

SM-G900H <<Bug List>>

okay, this is going to be a long post.
I will recomplie all the known bugs in this thread until now.
Known Bugs:
-Galaxy Player bugs up after playing music constantly for 30 -60 minutes.
(ALL system begins to slow down, creating an unusable device, restart fixes this bug.)
-Camera takes pictures, some of them after being taken, are corrupted files.
Not sure why this happens but it happens.(Some users report this is due to the Music Player bug)
-Phone Lags on Wake-Up after using a 64gb Micro-SD. Not tested on 16 or 32gb ( using 32gb, no wake up lags )
Rare Bugs:
-Unresponsive power button, does not work anyhow, long pressing for 10 seconds = one long press.
Rebooting several times solves this. (HAPPENED ONLY ONCE) (The chances of getting this bug is the same as catching a shiny pokémon)(Some users report this is due to the Music Player bug)
- Headphonejack Bug: Contacts detect headphone still inside after submerged in water, to solve this issue: "There are 4 contacts in the jack hole. You have to touch and slightly straighten out them by needle. But first let the water to dry in the hole".
Well, Ultimately, this is to see if samsung can create the next update, fixing these issues...

These two are caused by the Music app having a memory leak...
Didn't had any issues taking pictures yet, overall I'm a happy camper.

Tried it on two different devices and other users have had same results. Having a 64GB memory card causes the phone to take longer/lag to "wake up".
I have not tried a 128GB, but my 32GB is not as laggy. Best results is no memory card at all.

There are 4 contacts in the jack hole. You have to touch and slightly straighten out them by needle. But first let the water to dry in the hole.

How often does this happen?
Did you listen to music via Sammy's music player before this happened?
How much battery did you have when it happened?

On one day it happens like 4 times.
Sometimes this happens and I haven't been using the music player.
Sometimes 20% or even 85% always different.
When this happens there were some times the phone rebooted.
when I get free time I will reset to default and see if it gets fixed.

I've got some kind of unresponsive buttons bug. Btw my version is G900F.
So, when i tried to woke it up, it worked, fingerprint unlock too but then, screen nor capacitive buttons were responding. All another buttons was and screen not. After 30 seconds it's fixed itself.
Only bug I have is that the fingerprint scanner occasionally stops working completely on the lockscreen (the animation will stop and all I can do is turn screen on/off with lock button until I can restart).
This occured on multiple firmwares, although perhaps xposed might be the culprit.

I can confirm this as well. It is quite frequent and very annoying. Whenever I receive any notification, I see the led blinking. I look to turn the phone on by the power button or home button, but only the capacitive LEDs light up and screen goes blank. At times I have had to wait for more than 30 seconds to get it back working or worst case I had to pull the battery and restart.
Very annoying bug since Kitkat. I now have the lollipop version installed (XXU1BOAD) in the hope that this dreadful issue is fixed.
Unfortunately it didn't. Samdung made this phone ****ty with the in house exynos processor. Please suggest some fix for this if anyone finds it.

No data connection when the screen is off

I updated to marshmallow now every time my Screen is off, either slacker or Pandora or milk music will stop playing, after a few seconds, when the buffer is over.
I checked the settings under app battery saving. And turned it off for those apps. But still the same.
I found I'm not the only one Going though it.
Any ideas of what might be causing this.
Thanks in advance
Did a factory reset and cleared the cached but still doing the same Thing, when I turn the screen back on, says network error on the app
Please help

Problems after marshmallow update

Major battery drain (10% in 10 minutes just using the Internet...) and not getting most push notifications when I'm on WiFi (which is almost always, Facebook and Instagram are the only exceptions). Any ideas on how to fix this?
I have a non rooted s6 of it makes a difference.

Go into recovery mode and clear the system cache a few times. Not sure of the exact buttons to press. Home and volume down I believe, on boot up.
