That message appear for all third-party keyboards.
Of course it's safe, what a silly question.
But it's not really a third party keyboard... It's from AOSP. It was on 2.1 and we didn't have that silly message.
Hello,
I have been using CM for the last months, and now that the stock froyo rom is here with sense, I was decided to give it a try.
One of the things I have gotten used to in CM is the power control widget with 2G/3G options. I feel like I cant live without that right now, so I am trying to get it back. Has someone being able to do this?
I donwloaded the mod from here, and flash it using rom manager:
http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/3625-new-power-control-widget-with-one-click-2g3g-toggling/
But no luck, after restarting androud would freeze up after 5 seconds.
Any help? Thank youi!

I'm thinkin the same thing. Guess they have to sort out a new and updated app.
It isn't just that simple... guys at CM modified phone and settings apk for this to work... you can't just replace those two files here in stock FroYo! There are many dependencies. Besides you would at least have to deodex stock ROM but that's just the beginning...
I suspect it needs APIs only present in cyanogenmod. But, perhaps if the API for toggling 3G is discovered (it must be there as there's a HTC widget for this), one could modify the default power control widget.
You mean API call? I doubt that stock HTC ROM has that. Does AOSP have it? From the original author in CM thread you can see that he was waiting for Google to implement that call but they weren't so he modified settings.apk and phone.apk to allow that call...

The HTC ROM must have it (or something similar), since it has a widget for 3G enable/disable. Whether it's accesible or hidden is a different question. And AOSP doesn't have it, obviously.

The call might have the same name, but it calls different aspects of setting. Only that way the same software would produce two different results using the same action on two different ROMs (namely CM and stock HTC). This sounds logical.
Google "switchpro" it is just like the CM froyo power widget but more customizable.
And then what?
We know those widgets but we are talking here that they don't produce the same result on different ROMs... namely CM and stock HTC's.

Where is that widget? does it really switch from 3G to 2G in one click?

I tried it, but when you clicked on the 2G/3G switch icon it takes you the settings, it does not switch in one click, not as good as CM power control widget
Does anyone know if the stock car mode is part of Sense 5.0? Or is it it's own apk that I could potentially load? I actually really enjoyed it, and miss not having it on cm 10.2.
or if someone wouldn't mind recommending a good (preferably ad free) car mode .apk I'd appreciate it!
Hello everyone. Been awhile since I posted. After having the LG G4 for awhile I decided to get a Galaxy S6. Love it for the most part, except for one small thing. And that is that Samsung seems to have removed the simple option in the stock email app to choose where to go after deleting an email. You use to be able to choose between next email, or back to list. Well that option is completely gone. And I always have my phones set up to just go to the next email once I click delete.
My question is this. Is there anyway to get the stock email app to do this? Through root, or some other tweak or mod? I know I can just download a totally different email app, but before doing that I wanted to see if anyone found any other way to do this? Or has anyone even noticed this? Thanks
Hello everybody!
I've been looking the answer for this question for a long time and I can't find anything, so I'm giving a try here.
Ok, straigh to the point:
I want to use widgets in my lockscreen Nougat 7. I've been using the app C Locker, which, btw, is the best to customize your lockscreen without being root and since Widget Locker is dead. In Android 6 I had no problem with it, but now in Nougat I found that it enters in conflict with the phone and suddenly I can not watch videos, and there are no sound notifications, or alarms. And I know is C Locker because once I stopp it, the phone works normal again. I've tried almost all the lock apps that are in the Play Store, but no one is as good as C locker.
Anyway, tired of this, I decided to root the phone, because I was so sure that once being root I could do it, but now I'm descovering that Xposed is not available yet to Nougat
So, is there some root app that I'm not aware of that allows me to put my fu... blesed widgets in the lock screen?
Now that I'm root, is a good idea to install a ROM? cause I know there are some that let me do what I want.
Which one would be the best for Galaxy S6 Edge+
My phone is the SM- G928F
Thanks for reading!
Greetings!
Edit: Ok guys, me again. For some reason, the phone is working fine again. Since I made the root, the conflicts stop. I'm using again C Locker and it's been 24 hrs since and until now so far so good.
I'm very happy with C Locker and I strongly recommend it for those who want to use widgets in his lock screen.
Well, I can consider this post solved.
Thanks for reading.
you can use Good Lock app APK file that lets you have different widget from 3rd party apps.
was working fine with Android 6
i don't no if it works with Nougat Android 7
