Stucked on Cyanogen Recovery UBL 5.1.1 AICP - Xperia SP Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Well was just updating from AICP Release to the latest nightly, wipe everything and flash the ROM, next would be the T Kernel, but I press rebot system instead of that, so no TWRP or PhilZ...
Tried to flash with Rashr downloading from app and the images on the lollipop tips thread from @flash- but still cyanogen
Then I tried [CWM][PHILZ][TWRP][LB]Recoveries for Xperia SP LB
Tried many times, still cyanogen, So what can I do?

You can use the Flashtool to flash the Tangerine's .elf file via fastboot.
To get such file, all you have to do is extract the flashable zip. You will need to manually replace the modules later!
If you want to do all of this directly on your phone from within a terminal, check out my guide here

Thanks a lot @TechnoSparks did you know any tutorial to flash kernel and replace modules?
Fixed installing CWM with fastboot and then tabgerine from cwm, Thanks and please close the thread....

Xperia Z (Telstra AUS) stuck in bootloop but can access TWRP

Hey guys spent about 8 hours today attempting to root, unlock bootloader, install custom recovery (TWRP), install custom ROM (PAC ROM) and custom kernel (MEOW).
I got as far as installing TWRP but for whatever reason the OS got deleted while flashing it. So now I have no OS and its stuck in bootloop. All I can access is TWRP. How do I get it out of bootloop and reinstall the original Android 4.3 OS with Sony's bloatware? After I reinstall the original OS/ROM. I'll attempt to install PAC ROM and Meow and g-apps
How do I reinstall the original OS/ROM and get it out of bootloop?
How do I install PAC, MEOW and G-APPS?
Please provide links or instructions thank you.
Somebody please help me!

Bump; same problem
Will post if I solve it
EDIT:
OK, to solve I simply copied the Cyanogenmod install .zip to my microSD card, mounted that while in TWRP, then installed it.
I then downloaded the mini Gapps package, installed that, and all was right as rain.
All of this meant that I didn't have to re-root, which was a pain for me on a mac, and I didn't have to go through too lengthy a process either.
Thanks for the info androidfreak70, but I didn't need it this time.

Do this:
Flash the stock 4.4.4 via flashtool
Root and install dual recovery
Boot to TWRP
Go to wipe >> advanced wipe and select dalvik cache and cache and system and data
Install the ROM and GAPPS like any zip
Reboot system
Boot to CWM (PAC man has CWM not TWRP)
Wipe dalvik and cache
Install the Meow kernel
Done
TapaTalked from my MultiROM Xperia™ Z (C660²) running Dirty Unicorns ROM!

I was on stock firmware (no root), i unlocked bootloader (but im not shure if i done it correctly, ithink that this is the problem), i downloaded and extracted boot.img and flash it via command prompt, installed zip file from sd card (cm-11-20140915-NIGHTLY-huashan) and now im stuck at cyanogenmod bootloop animation, i tried it several older version nightlys, same thing, ANY HELP PLEASE? And yes i tried factory data and wipe cache, no luck...
and yes i tried factory data and wipe cache, no luck...
I followed this guide here:
wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_huashan
Use the Edit/Delete button in the right down corner, no multi-post
Have u tried flash again Stock one? just to be sure ur BL is unlocked..... but I'm pretty sure it is due to bootloop in CM logo, not kernel one, what about CM11 from FXP for UBL?
yes my BL is unlocked, when i enter flashtool/BLU it said Relock, thats mean that is unlocked, right? Idont know to flash stock rom and where to find, and what do you mean with "CM11 from FXP for UBL", i downloaded cm11 from offical cite, from here https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=huashan&type=nightly
tried to flash another rom, the same thing happens!
Flash an FTF file using Flashtool...
Flashed stock rom (ftf), then repeat the procedure for CM11 installation and it worked, thanx for help !

[Q] Q: Stock vs Custom ROM on SP

Hello XDA community.
I own an XSP. It's laggy, crashes randomly every now and then, and in general it is a subpar experience. So at long last i am thinking of flashing a custom ROM on it, but the thing is i am a complete newb. I have been looking into it a lot and i familiarized myself with the general steps of a flash but i cant seem to decide between all the roms. Right now i am leaning towards BlissPop 3.5.
So, tell me if the blisspop is a good choice and if it is worth it to transition from the stock rom to a custom rom.
Also i couldn't find a good recovery for xperia sp (TWRP doesn't seem to support SP). Finally, in case i regret my decision, how easy is it to restore the SP to its original stock rom and default configuration?

BlissPop 3.5 have old sources ....and the ROM support is very low ....you can go to AICP...OWN ROM...CM12.1 for sure (just choose one or read their threads to know more)
TWRP is supported ....just flash the t-kernel with fastboot mode and you will have twrp recovery ...then reboot to recovery and flash a ROM from above
it's easy to get back to stock ... :silly:
methods
1- there is a stock-based ROMs but optimized which a good choice and can be flashed easily by any recovery
2-just flash a stock ftf ROM with flash-tool to get your phone all the way back to original factory lunch

CM12.1 was my 2nd choice. My 1st choice was based on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-sp/general/5-0-2-lollipop-rom-reviews-t3093338
Also i couldn't really grasp the instructions on the CM12 thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-sp/orig-development/5-1-1-cyanogenmod-12-1-t3096100
The part about the "updated recovery" confused me.
thx for the info. Also T-kernel is the tangerine custom kernel? Does it have any issues with CM12?

yes it is tangerine custom kernel .....no issues with cm12.1 ROM just read the tangerine kernel carefully
Ok. just a small clarification of the steps. At the CM thread the instructions are like this:
Instructions:
- Install updated recovery (see 2º post)
- Boot into Recovery
- Full Wipe (dalvik, system, data, cache)
- Flash Rom
- Flash Gapps (optional)
- Reboot
A the first step if i flash tangerine will i be covered?

There's a thread in Android Development with a ZIP incliding twrp, philz and cwm. Install this and you have a recovery that works easily and can be installed easily. It's another method than the one the others recommended, but it worked for me everytime.

make sure u already unlock bootloader if not go here
if u wanna use recovery from T-kernel u should flash stock fota with flashtool, stock fota n T-kernel can be found here
if u just want latest twrp with f2fs support can be found here but u should flash it with rashr(from playstore)
now u should be able to flash the roms that T-kernel support eg. cm12.1, if u flash cm12.1 make sure u flash T-kernel zip after u flash rom, cause cm12.1 rom has it own kernel in its installer

LP always boots in recovery - is my SGSA screwed?

what i'm trying to do is installing lollipop on my s advance
i was coming from CM11 by epirex, and i decided to try his SlimLP; did all the wipes, flashed rom and gapps with no error at all, and then the phone endlessly rebooted into TWRP
so i did a deep clean installing jb with odin; then rooted, installed cwm, flashed MaxiCM this time without gapps and... again the phone only boots into recovery.
what can i do? can this mean that my phone is dying?

Need guide/help on Xperia V rooting/recovery and custom rom flashing

Here is my device detail:
Xperia V Lt25i
9.2.4.2.5
4.3
Stock
So, this is what's my big problem:
I want to root + recovery my xperia v, so I searched and followed this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2798411 (credits to OP)
it's a very big success, so move on to flashing a custom ROM. I downloaded CM13 latest zip file, but it returns an error saying my device is mint and not tsubasa, so I followed another thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2581336
So the flash continued, until I get another error saying that it needs to unify the partition or whatever. So I tried to follow all the steps in CM13 OP, but still no luck. I tried flashing TWRP 3.x that is recommended in CM13 OP, but I still boot up in Philz Touch.
Anyone here care to give their help?
Thanks in advance!!!!
