Bricked LG G2 No Recovery No ROM - Verizon LG G2

So I have a VS980 that I attempted to flash SmiLey497's rom (this one here) on. What I am now left with is no recovery and no boot, only a bootloader. I thought I would just flash back to stock unrooted using LG Flash Tool. I got the error message "Model information check fail." After doing some digging, I found the custom LGUP_8794.dll and tried that but got: "CrossDL [] to [VS980]. SWversion []." With the first DLL, the lines before "Model information..." says "SW: " and "SWOV: ". I assume that means that my phone is missing the model information (seeing as the second dll says the same). So I looked around and found that I could edit the .tot file with a hex editor but it just says "CrossDL [] to [NotDefined]. SWversion []." I also tried the .kdz method but that just stops at "Page_Error", not much I can do there. So I don't know what to do anymore, either I have to find a way to get a recovery back or I have to get my VS980 it's information back. But even if I had those things, I would have to flash it through the bootloader. Any ideas?

Fastboot cable when you kdz and also latest drivers. What bootstack are you on?

[HELP] [Q] No Radio Signal after Fast UnBrick

Ok, I know I have screwed something up, but here is what I did.
1. Factory reset phone (was slow, so wanted a fresh start). New version = 890
2. Got the OTA update to 906
3. Download was successful, but patch failed. (retried 4 times)
4. Downloaded the 906 stock from this forum, copied to SD card, and applied via Power-X
5. This also failed, and bricked the phone.
6. Ran Fast/Easy Unbrick (Flash+Verizon+DROID+3+OTA+5.6.890+to+phone_psouza4)
7. This brought the phone back up, but no phone signal, could not activate.
8. Attempted another factory reset. Same results.
9. Turned on WiFi, and got the 906 OTA via Setting/About Phone/System Updates (didn't think this would work via only WiFi, but it did... sorta...)
10. Download successful, installation failed.
So, I'm still on 890. Cannot get phone radio to work. Cannot patch to 890.
Someone please help!
Other notes:
About Phone shows "Unknown" for Baseband version, ERI and PRL
Status shows "Unknown" for MIN, MEID, Network, Mobile network type
Model: XT862
I have the same, this is a big problem, but no one knows how to fix it.
flew settings ESF, which in this model can not be restored.

don't think you needed the 906 update, in the first place, Mine is on 890, safestrap 3, and have used steel droid 4.8, 5.6, cm 10, and JB AOKP

Update. Tried to manually update SPC with ##7764726

(got this from VZ Tech Support)
Kept saying the password was invalid.
Any ideas what the password might be from the Fast/Easy Unbrick?

EDIT: Just tested flashing the 890 radio to an OTA 906 system on a D3 I received yesterday (mine is still on 890 so not much testing 906 flashing stuff) secondary one I just got had 906 on it already. It works great! So as long as your system boots, skip down to my guide on flashing the 890 radio and download the zip. If anyone knows why the 906 radio is larger and doesn't seem to work, feel free to throw in your info.
Sounds to me the radio is wrong, (for those who've tested the XT883 radio, try getting into the ##program menu using the WRONG build.prop, you get invalid pass ) and when you said you also get unknown for MIN/MDN/Baseband, gives more clue to that.
I'm guessing during your return to stock, it flashed the system and whatnot, just not the radio. I'm uploading what I call my 'flash kit' (fastboot and radio files) that I use to swap XT862 and XT833 radios.
I suggest FIRST running the "Flash back to 890" method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1686911 the 1click found here (then you can try a regular system update).
Afterwards if you have no radio, try following my (probably confusing ) guide below to flash the 890 radio with the zip I uploaded here; http://depositfiles.com/files/zkxgz5k83
To flash, turn phone off, hold down M and power on, a menu will pop up. Release M, use Volume Down to highlight "AP Fastboot" then use Volume UP to select it. (If you accidentally bypass it, do NOT use Volume Up to try going up, its used for selection only, use Volume Down to scroll back around).
If you have the latest motorola drivers installed, hook up the phone via USB and the screen should say USB Connected (AFTER the drivers install). Then open a command window (either from start menu, or as I do, Windows key + R type cmd and hit enter).
Extract the zip file and navigate to it from cmd, easiest would be extract the "Fastboot" folder to C:\, then in the black command window type "cd C:\Fastboot" and hit enter
type 'dir' to see if a filelist shows up to ensure right folder, then type "moto-fastboot.exe flash radio XT862-890.img" replace the .img with whichever radio you want to test (I pulled the 906 radio from the official update, but it's larger for some reason and doesn't flash correctly, I'm assuming it doesn't fit into the partition space given.) The XT883 radio is used for DOMESTIC GSM NETWORKS ONLY. Such as AT&T and T-Mobile.
It should show "sending radio" then "flashing radio" when it lets you, type "moto-fastboot.exe reboot" and let the phone reboot. It should show an android with a box and a meter, after it finishes, it'll reboot itself and *should* boot back into the system with working radio.

Im wondering why the .906 OTA update failed when you were on a completely stock .890

[Q] please help possible full brick

Hopefully someone is able to help...
I had my tmo moto x unlocked with twrp and root and I tried a factory reset through the twrp recovery and it erased all the software. It booted to the setup screen where I proceeded to log in with Google but it didn't work I think and when it got the home screen it just showed a loading circle and that's it and stupid me I didn't make a backup before
I've tried using the tool in the android development thread to flash back to stock but now my phone doesn't even boot at all I can get to the bootloadwr and I can successfully flash files through the Motorola tool by removing the proper line in the XML file but my phone still don't boot
It just flashes the little android laying down and says error every 5 seconds I don't know what to do anymore I've searched all over and no matter what I can't get the phone to boot
Thanks for the help if any
1. With an unlocked bootloader, you're not fully bricked if you can get to the bootloader.
2. Download the SBF file for your variant here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=0. If you're already on the 4.4.2 bootloader, download only the 4.4.2 SBF file.
3. Learn how to use fastboot/mfastboot and adb. Follow the steps in the "return to stock" section here http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/ref-how-to-root-4-4-links-guides-t2603358.
4. Extract the SBF file, boot into the bootloader, type what's in the "return to stock" section verbatim. Skip the fastboot oem lock step though and don't copy/paste.
5. Stop using toolboxes and scripts until you understand how fastboot and adb work. They'll save your ass each and every time.

once you've upgraded to 4.4.2, you can't go back to 4.2.2.
as mentioned, download the 4.4.2 fastboot files and flash each partition.
make sure to wipe data and cache once all partitions are flashed.
here are some more notes regarding flashing:

[Q] Rooted/Unlocked but can't update to 4.2 to 4.3! [XT1058]

Ok guys, so here's what's happening with my Device XT1058. I literally can't install it!
When I try to return to stock and put the first one code that says "fastboot flash partition gpt.bin", it says:
<bootloader> variable not supported!
error: cannot load 'gpt.bin'.
2- When I try to do it by the RSDLite trying to load the 4.2 stock in there is says: "Error check input file. Either XML format is wrong or image files associated with it are missing"
I really don't know what's going on. Ive seen a video with the same model/device as mine and it went perfectly the ROOT/UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER. I did everything as it says on the video but it comes to update the android, I just cant proceed it.
My firmware operator is: Oi. From Brazil.
--
When I try to put the 4.4.3 in the Internal Storage:
1- Trying to install it from "System Updates" just doesn't work. Pops up the same old image as always "Your system is up to date, option: OK"
Then I try to do it manually by going to the Internal Storage in the phone, the zip file appears but I can't click on it.
Can someone help me to fix this problem ? Thanks!
OBS: I DID Install the BOOTLOADER and ROOT my phone perfectly as long as I can use it as a developer. But can't install either 4.2/4.3 rom in any ways I did as I explained it on the top.

You appear to be going about this wrong. You don't put the SBF files on the phone itself...you put them on your PC, in the same folder that fastboot and mfastboot are located.
The error you are receiving "error: cannot load gpt.bin" indicated that the file you are trying to flash is NOT in the same folder as fastboot/mfastboot.
Additionally, there is no "4.2" or "4.3" for the Moto X. There is 4.2.2, 4.4, 4.4.2, and now 4.4.3 (which may or may not have been released for your carrier yet).
Can you explain exactly what you are doing? Where did you get the SBF file to flash back to stock? Did you extract the archive? And make sure you are using the correct firmware for YOUR carrier. We don't like to support people who try to flash other carrier's ROMS to their phone. This can cause issues.

The same thing happened to me when I tried to use a rootkit method for rooting the phone when it apparently knew nothing about the most recent updates (MRA58N or MRA58R). I ended up having to manual flash each individual image file from the MRA58N factory image (the flash-all script in the factory image zip wouldn't work). Even so, when I rebooted it still displayed the Your Device is Corrupt message. Then I went through the manual root process again (flashed the modified boot.img through fastboot, then flashed the latest TWRP recovery via fastboot, and then used TWRP to flash the latest SuperSU. Only then did the Your Device is Corrupt message go away and I also had root with everything else working fine.
It definitely made for an un-Godly horrible first 24-hours with my new phone! I hope this helps you.

can you please tell me steps i am so afraid to do anything to my phone now and i think my problem is same as yours
i downloaded 6.0.0 (MRA58R) and i used option in toolkit flash stock it gave me an error
"failed (data transfer failure (unknown error))
Its not so easy to brick nexus, but make sure you don't lock bootloader before your phone is working right. You can find the guide how to flash it on XDA.
You will need to flash the missing files by hand.
I was able to fix the erro i got by flashing by :
setting up environmental variable
copy all the flash files, all.bat bootloaderXXX.img... etc to platform tools folder
made sure i connected into usb 2.0 port not usb 3.0
then i flashed the stock firmware XD now my phone to point zero again

You don't need to move the files to the platform-tools folder.
Go to Nexus 6 General > Sticky rol-up thread > Adb and fastboot. What is it?
This will tell you how to set up and use adb or fastboot properly.

Be aware don't ever downgrade from new to old version software. Search for anti-rollback issues.
If there is any thing wrong with LGUP recognising your phone,
Before any thing check you proper USB drivers. Updated to last version. Change Cable and port.
Please more details about the problem. We need more details of what you did before the problem happened.
