My Gear SM-V700 is bricked. - Samsung Galaxy Gear

Hello,
How could I find serial number of the watch externally and what is the model number I need to enter at Kies for recovery. It does not accept SM-V700 as model.

Flash with odin the stock firmware NE9.
And then you might face gear manager recognition issue.
See this:

Yes it worked thanks.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini GT-I8190N - Re-flashing stock rom

Hi All.
I am looking for help and advice with regarding to re-flashing the stock rom on my wife's Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini GT-I8190N.
The phone in quick is 100% stock, it has never been unlocked and or had any custom rom's installed.
The reason why I wish to reflash the stock rom is due to the phone being stuck in a boot-loop, and not being able to access the boot-loader / factory reset.
I have already download ODIN v3.09, But as the phone does not boot and I can not get into the boot-loader to run any ADB or Fastboot commands, I am unable to find out what the phone was running.
The phone is/was on contract via Tesco Mobile here in the UK, But Tesco's have told my wife that the warranty for her phone has expired.
The only information I have been able to find is via the Odin Mode, but this does not give much.
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I8190N
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: NO
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official

Can anyone here please advice me on how I can find the correct stock rom for this phone.
Thanks for your time.
Best Regards.
Hi,
There's a website called Sammobile where you can download the original firmware of a large number of phones.
Cheers
As said above I do not know what is the correct firmware (rom) to download for this phone.
How can I tell what is the correct firmware (rom) to download?
I have looked on http://www.sammobile.com but there is no firmware (rom) listed for Tesco Mobile.
From my understanding is the the BTU is the unbranded firmware (rom)
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I8190N/BTU/
I8190NXXAMJ2_I8190NBTUAMJ1_BTU.zip
I8190NXXAMG1_I8190NOXXAMG1_BTU.zip
I8190NXXALL6_I8190NOXXALL3_BTU.zip
What will happen if I try and re-flash any of the above files via Odin to the phone, if I pick the wrong file am I going to hard brick the phone?
Thanks for your time.
Best Regards.
Nothing bad will happen if you flash any of the I8190N firmwares.
Thank you for your reply.
I saw in another post that there should be a sticker on the NAND flash memory chip with some details of what was flashed into the chip at the factory, I took the phone apart and sure enough there was indeed a sicker.

So it seems that I was right in guessing to go for the unbranded (BTU) firmware / rom.
Thank you !

[HELP] G800F - How to upgrade to lollipop

Hi,
I'm from Slovakia, I have S5 mini model SM-G800F, G800FXXU1AOG2.
Is there any way to uprage my phone officialy without breaking KNOX, warranty void, or anything else?
There are no new updates when I try to update throught OTA or KIES.
Thanks!
What's your phone's CSC code? Get it and look on this page for a 5.1.1 ROM that matches it:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G800F/
It would be good if someone else could confirm it, but from what I've read if you flash a stock ROM it won't trip Knox warranty code.
AP: G800FXXU1AOG2
CP: G800FXXU1AOG2
CSC: G800FOXX1AOG1
There is not any 5.1.1 ROM for my CSC :/
Any other way?
Are you sure your CSC is OXX? I didn't find any ROM with that code, either lollipop or KitKat. Try using Phone Info from Play Store. It will show correct CSC and if there is a new ROM.
Yes, my CSC is: G800FOXX1AOG1
Here are some photos from Phone Info:
Code:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B4LdWx07QQ0xbl92bVFuZlJva3c&usp=sharing
On sammobile there are only 4.4.2 ROMs.
Actually your phone's CSC code is ORX (see second image you've uploaded), and there is no Lollipop for any of the available codes either. I don't recommend flashing any other ROM besides the one for your model, the safest way would be CM13, but it will trip Knox warranty, but then probably it would if you flashed other stock ROMs as well. Maybe someone else with a G800F can help you better, mine is G800H.
And if I flash CM and trip Knox, will I be able to complain the hardware part (for example problems with camera, charging port...)?
if you flash official firmware (even with different CSC) via odin, warranty/knox should be still OK -> http://androidforum.cz/prehrani-softwaru-a-zaruka-t72763.html
guide in czech language you'll understand: http://androidforum.cz/topic71393.html
there are some rumors about marshmallow for SM-G800F
i have s5 mini with csc TMS (t-mobile slovakia) still kitkat 4.4.2 and now i'm getting some ota:
The software update (869.77 MB) but per sammobile there is still no lollipop for TMS, or maybe just their web page is not up to date ?!
any way to find out what is this update about without installing it?
SamFirm for TMS still shows:
Model: SM-G800F
Version: G800FXXU1ANL1/G800FTMS1AOC1/G800FXXU1AOC2/G800FXXU1ANL1
OS: KitKat(Android 4.4.2)
Filename: SM-G800F_1_20150325171600_m20wixnutf.zip.enc4

Hi mikronum! I have the very same device as yours:
AP: G800FXXU1AOG2
CP: G880FXXU1AOG2
CSC: G800FOXX1AOG1
And if i use the app "phone info samsung" i get the same information that are in your screenshots (CSC is ORX).
Can i ask you wich file did you download to upgrade to lollipop? It would be of great help for me.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for taking the time to answer me .
I will download the file you have posted and think about doing such update.
Could you please confirm me just a couple of things?
1) after this procedure, how is the KNOX counter? Is it still ok? always 0x0?
2) the CSS code in the downoaded firmware is DBT (germany). What languages are available? Is the italian language available?
Thanks in advance.
After flashing KNOX is still 0x0, I use KNOX without any problems.
Italian language is available.
Is Slovak language also available in DBT firmware? Thanks.
Yes, you can select from all languages you have now on stock firmware.
I just checked from the system settings and .... the phone is downloading some kind of OTA .... i don't know yet if it is lillopop. I will tell you when it finishes ... it is a 886,66 MB update. Maybe Slovakian S5 mini are getting lollipop official update ....
I checked my 800F too and it downloaded an update with the same file size. So I checked available firmware for my region with an application called Phone INFO (star) Samsung (star) and it showed that there is an Lollipop update available on OTG and Kies. SAMSUNG FINALLY MADE IT!
P.S. I don't know why, but when I go to the page where I can upgrade, in description I don't see something like "Upgrade package to Android Lollipop", because my friend's device had it when he updated his samsung phone.

I also don't read anything referring to lollipop when i read the description of the OTA update from the phone. This is the reason why i was holding back. I tought it was another kitkat firmware ....
By the way, did you already downloaded and installed this update on your phone? Can you personally confirm it is lollipop?

Yes, I'm talking about the same application as in the link. How to check available firmware:
When you open the program, there are three little lines on upper corner, so press those and then there should appear some more settings. There has to be a button called "Firmware Browser". Tap on it. Then write your model in first(longer) text box and CSC on second(CSC is region code(like DBT - Germany, XEO - Poland, so there should be written three capital letters, if not - write by yourself(you can find CSC in this program, there's a section called " CSC Codes"). Then, press the button "Find" and there should appear a list with available firmware.

Yes, I can. I downloaded and installed the update. It took me about 15 minutes. Not the S6 level upgrade(a little worse than S6). Here's the photo for proof.

Samsung Note 9 will not update 8.1.0

Hi, don't know if anyone can help?
I live in the UK and have a Samsung Note 9 which came from the UAE. The phone will not update and is currently Android version 8.1.0 with security patch dated 01/11/18.
I have tried updating via Samsung Smart Switch.
I have cleared the cache, done a factory reset and checked if the phone is rooted, which it isn't.
I believe the only way to update the android version is to do it manually, can anyone help with this.
The phone is SM-N960F dual sim Serial Number RF8KC1DMFSR
Thanks

As far as I understand, your phone has OXM which includes multi CSC, so it doesn't matter which firrmware you can download and flash.
If you have doubt, just install Samsung Phone Info from playstore. In CSC code tab, check what is its original csc.
Use samfirm or frija to download at very high speed.

SM-G973F keeps restarting and crashing

For the last couple months phone keeps restarting many times during the day. Also most of the apps crashes and start working only after restarting phone. It happens even after I factory reseted the phone. Was there any solution for this?
Hello Ddogg11, Abon what did you do with you said it's been 2 months that reboots on its own.
There must be an explanation because of your concern, did you try to reinstall official firmware, your S10 model is which S 10 exynos 5 G or S 10 e or + lite there are several models.
It is S10 exynos model sm-g973f. Stock firmware. Never rooted it. It just started doing this on its own. Thought it has something to do with battery, replaced it with a good one, but it still happens.
Ddogg11, I too have the first S10 exynos 4G output, so a lot of flash and root works very well.
So your concern must come from an obsolete update you have which Android 12 or lower, if not as I said reflash the android 12 firmware or the current one installed.

Download the latest firmware for your country or region and install with ODIN. Last version is HWA3 and HWA4. It depends on which country or region it is.
Firmware you can download from: https://samfw.com/
Thanks for the replays. Can you link me to thread where i can see how to flash new firmware? I am a bit rusty, havent flashed anything since htc m8 years ago. Thanks again both of you.
Download Odin 3.14.4 from here: https://technastic.com/odin-download-samsung-latest-all-versions/
After download .zip file, extract it.
Download firmware. Extract it. Open Odin as Administrator.
Turn off the phone. Connect one end of the cable from the phone to the PC, press the Vol-Down and Bixby buttons together, connect the other end of the cable to the phone. Wait for Download mode to open. Release the keys and press the Vol-Up key.
These are pictures of my region.
Wait for Android to install. After that, you need to wait a little longer for Android to boot.

Why serial number?
If you are in Greece, you need to download the Greece firmware. In Greece is your service provider (ISP).
