Hi guys, I need an oeminfo C150 for flash C150B191 and C150B321 (Nougat) please? I have C432B181 and I want flash C150B191 or C150B321. Another thing.. Is there TWRP for Nougat P9 Plus? And can rooting on Nougat? Thanks. Regards
Ps. I have P9 Plus... VIE-L09C432B181
me too, have anyone this oeminfo ?
Yeah, maybe someone can make a backup of the telekom oeminfo and custom.bin of a branded t-com P9 Plus? That seems the best solution to get Nougat in germany right now and faster updates.
I check everyday for new updates and information for a Leaked Beta or rollout of c432 Nougat in germany. I had a branded Vodafone P9 Plus now unbranded C432 because i thought they would get easier or faster a Nougat update xP Fail~ Telecom is the first Provider that i ever saw doing that fast updates...faster then Huawei for C432.
Well i hope someone can help or HW will be soon as possible rollout finally the Update for C432 or someone shares a leaked beta/stable. I guess there will be no Offical Beta in germany now after that long time they would already had started something. The only other question is, have the C150 some kind of bloatware by telecom inside?
I love Huawei but it's bad sad to see that a phone like the P9 Plus seems to get the Update as last one.
Hey guys, how can I update my phone to android 7? Ive been looking on here for my model and can't seem to find any info if mine supports the custom ROMs for 7, not new to ROMs etc but new to huawei, model is EVA- Lo9 c40b190? Does it matter as long as it's Eva Lo9? Thanks.
You pretty much got 3 choices.
1. Debrand and change it to a C432 and then update it to B361 (Android 7).
2. Wait for Android 7 to be officially released for your model.
3. If C40 already have a Android 7 build, then you can do a force update via dload or Huawei updater.

Can someone explain to me where the different P20 Pro variants are from? I'm not talking about the L29, L09 and so on, but about c432, c652 etc. From what I've read one the forums so far, I reckon the L-29, c432 version which I have is the "best", however I haven't received the 131 update yet (I'm on 120) and that kind of worries me. One last question: my P20 Pro is brand new and after I inserted my SIM card I got an update (obviously from my carrier) named DT. GRC 8.1.0.4 (CT) (my current last installed update is CLT-L29 8.1.0.120 (C432)). The changelog is "-Optimized network interworking - essential and recommended apps" I don't really want to install it because it will apparently install bloatware from my carrier, but I'm confused about the higher version number (8.1.0.4 vs. 8.1.0.120). How come it is higher? And if I do install it will I continue to receive c432 updates as they are released or will I have to wait for my carrier to roll them out?
There is no best variant. The version are devided by World regions. The 432 is the European one. As for the update you got its from your network provider. I got it to too (DT. GRC 8.1.0.4 LT) but after I have received the. 128 version.

I don‘t think .131 is officially out yet. I have not seen an official changelog so far and most people that have it seen to have flashed it manually. so relax, it will come when it‘s ready.

So I have to install this update before I am able to install 1.28? I also thought about it before but I was hesitant to do it as the update from my carrier has (C150) at the end which probably means that after I install it my phone will change to C150 from C432 and I don't know the consequenses of that (my main fear is that then my carrier would have to approve updates before I receive them which would delay them even further). But if it is the only way I can be able to install 1.28 and any later update then I guess I'll do it.
P.S. I said C432 is the "best" because I see that anyone who wants to rebrand does so to the C432 variant so I reckon there are some advantages to it (like receiving updates quicker maybe?)
C432 it's the most common version around the globe. In order for an update to be compatible with your phone, should read c432. You can't install other than 432.

But I literally have it resumed right now because I accidentally began the download. I mean how would I even get it on my phone as an OTA if it wasn't compatible? My question is, after i install it will my firmware change from a free one to a branded one?
*EDIT*: I found the below really helpful article which I thankfully understood thanks to my knowledge of German. To sum it up, it basically says that it is natural for P20 Pro users to get an update from their carrier as soon as they insert a SIM card on their phone. It may appear to be a different firmware version (like in my case which was C150), however the update will only install a couple of apps from your carrier (which you are going to be able to uninstall anyway) and that it won't interfere neither with how quick and the way you receive updates nor your device's firmware variant. Here is the link to the article: https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/huawei-p20-pro.3297/faq-branding-beim-huawei-p20-pro.876843.html
I think it should be pinned somewhere as I believe it would help more people because I've seen plenty others wondering the same thing
Can confirm that right after I installed the carrier update, version 128 was made available to download and the phone remained as C432. Problem solved, thanks Android-Hilfe.
In my case I receive the 128 first and after that the provider update. Now I'm waiting for the 131 or 132 update that's being released for c432.

Any news on whether anyone has received it yet as an OTA?

I did a thread on this...

My wife has a Huawei Ascend P7 which is still on 4.4.2 with no update available in the update section.
She now encounters problems apps cannot be run/installed because her OS is to old. I found that there a loads of 5.1.1 roms available for the P7 and contacted the Huawei support in the Netherlands. They asked me the build number and after I send them the build number, I now got the answer that there is no update available and that it is unknown when the update will come.
As 5.1.1 is not like it is released yesterday, I can expect the update will never come.
I am now wondering: is there any stock 5.1.1 update I can flash onto her P7 to get it to 5.1.1?
The build is P7-L10V100R001C00B623, the custom version is CustC432D001.
And is there any rom which has dutch language support?
I found this page with loads of P7 5.1.1 updates, but cannot see which I could install on her device:
http://huawei-firmware.com/phone-lis...-p7/sophia-l10
Which 5.1.1 update could I install?
edit: I received another reply from Huawei stating that "unfortunately your telephone model does not support this update, for now there will come no update".
how could my phone "not suppport" 5.1.1 lollipop?
Huawei Ascend P7 Sophia-L10 5.1.1 B852 1.25GB
You need this one but some people say there are lot of bugs in Lollipop with Ascend P7 in general.
.
Most stable is B853 but it is for Asian market, so you have to how why to change CUST number.
You have to unlock bootloader with dc-unlocker and make root.
I do not have Lollipop but I am not sure if its best option. There is an option with Lineage 13 (Android 6.0) for this phone.
In fact there seem to be problems with getting back to earlier Android.

You can find many many similar apps on alternative markets to install them alone as .apk You dont have to you Google Store with such old Android. I got 4.4 and it takes some time to find suitable app but it is possible
