Since we already got Interop Unlock for our Lumias, I was just wondering how can we enable BitLocker on our device? Since all Windows Phone equips a TPM module (it's a mandatory requirement), whole device encryption won't affect performance that much unlike on Android devices that uses software-based encryption (TPM/Hardware-backed Encryption is way faster).

BSODroid is my first Android application. It is a proof of concept implementation of a flaw in Windows Vista, which is so far unpatched (although Microsoft are due to start distributing the patch any moment now), that allows a user to send a Blue Screen of Death to that computer over the network.
Main thread in Development section, but I just thought I'd post it here as I know that most Android users seem to check this section for Android applications, rather than the Development section!

If anyone's interested, go ahead and give it a try from the market!
I have a friend who wanted to know if it was possible to put Android on a WP. I told him that it would probably be impossible but thought I'd check to see if I was correct or not.
You're right, at least for now. That requires a bootloader unlock, which we don't currently have. Even once that changes, though (and no idea on what the timeframe for that will be), porting Android won't be easy; custom ROMs are simple by comparison because you can work from the existing firmware. Also, Android will perform worse on the same hardware than WP8 does.
here is only way for Android on Nokia Chinese copy with Nokia case and Android OS with WP skin... cheap (only) 2G phone, dual SIM, base camera 4 MP, front 0,3 MP...

i am strongly against android on Nokia phones... i hate android
it's impossible maybe when we unlock the boot loader or when we can root this device we can do that but now it's impossible.
Hi!
I've got Verizon's Windows Phone 8X by HTC. Using it in Russia, with typical local SIM card in typical 3G networks.
Everything is fine, apart one thing: Internet Sharing.
It just gives you an error when trying to enable it.

Any suggestions on fix? Custom ROM, some kind of unlock, or something else?) Please help me)
Have you tried using access point by HTC first? Otherwise no users here have touched HTC WP8 devices, besides my (and @timmymarsh's) little bit of work in the Diagnostic Apps thread.
... and we could not retrieve anymore the oem code required to unlock our device. So you'd better get it before 2018-5-24
Maybe you're all already aware of it, but I was not sure. Regards.

My question is would installing arrowOS version 11 cause this app to work again? Or should I install something else. If you click on more information the bank app tells me that it does not support android 8 anymore because of a lack of security updates.
And the followup question. what is the most noob friendly tutorial for installing another operating system on my phone. As I have no idea what half of you guys are saying.
I feel like switching bank is the easiest and cheapest option at the moment lol

Welcome to XDA.
The easiest way to remedy this is to ditch the app and simply login to that site using Brave browser. Social media, sales, banking apps shouldn't be installed especially on older OS's without scoped storage to sandbox them.
