Yes you can buy an LG G2 case except for the ones for the Verizon model.

I don't know what the battery cover has to do with it, but if you have stock LG firmware, the quickwindow case should work on any G2 model since it only uses a simple magnet to enable it. Unless you disabled it in the settings, I think it's under accessories.
