please i know all wants new roms and stuff, but taking cm9 rom and "add features" isnt development, you can just make a flasheable zip with those features and that would be better. in my opinion

I agree with you. At the end it's your CM9 ROM with the features you like (that's why it's called MiCM9 ).

I'm trying this ROM since yesterday and It's awesome great performance, super smoth, stable (no reboot), no lag and battery it's super consumed in a night 1% of battery !! simply great thanks !!

The purpose of this rom was to provide an updated MIUI ROM when it was being developed. Currently, there are two threads in where datsun and soul rider update MIUI acording to their tastes. I think that, although I was the first of three to open the thread, it's not necessary to keep this thread opened. If any moderator wants to close it it's ok for me. Thanks for your support.​

O.k. so I'm not new at this by any means but I'm having a problem that I haven't seen on any of the miui boards that were shut down. This is my process.......factory reset.....wipe system.....wipe cache.....wipe dalvik.....install ROM and reboot. Miui boots up I go through setup. The next time I reboot I immediately get systemui error. Anyone else had this?

No, never. Well, maybe ur download is corrupt. Try to download it again, reinstall and tell me if it still persist

Hopefully some apps which were visible in the market in CM10.1 or AOSP are also visible in MIUI, the earlier port i couldnt find and install Maps, Waze or IMDB for example. Many more may come to mind later.

I've tried all of the versions for N4 and had the same outcome. Obviously if gapps wasn't included I did the following.....install ROM...reboot....setup.....reboot.....flash gapps....reboot....it would not fine the next time but if I rebooted after that I would get the fc. Frustrating considering none of this has ever happened before. I'm at a loss for now but will report after v6. Thanks for your work o.p.

I made a build from his GSM port for the Grouper but it is buggy (as is the GSM version) and the framwork needs modding to fit our resolution. Im not gonna mess with it anymore (or share it for that matter) because it's not my work. I've sent a PM to imanesarus offering assistance.

if this rom can be tested only on gsm nexus7, i have the grouper so if you want i can test bugs

Hey all, I got permission from imanesaurus to make a Grouper build which I did. It's buggy but I'll upload it for you all to play with. I will be working on it this week to hopefully get some of the bugs worked out.

This build is an Alpha and it is buggy.
MIUI is designed for phones so there is still some phone stuff in this ROM like the phone app and signal bars in the status bar.
Please don't flash this if you don't know what you are doing.

That link is dead I managed to find a mirror but word of advice
Always attach an md5 hash with your upload links in cases like thus so we can verify that the mirror/s we find can be authenticated to have the original file.

thanks, i tryed it, the launcher works perfectly but it would be better with 5x5 grid.
The browser force close, and there are some screen resolution probleme, there are a shadow in the bottom of screen in some apps.
And the top GUI of all apps is buggy.

Hey.
From what I can see on the screenshots there are no pre-installed chinese apps, right? I wanted to flash it weeks ago, yet I was put off by posts claiming it's for chinese note lte exclusively, thus has many chinese apps. Is it flashable with TWRP recovery? Probably yes, but answer would be appreciated since I don't have an SD card with capacity big enough to make a backup, so it's either aosp or setting up miui again. Thanks!

I've flashed it a couple of weeks ago and I didn't have any signal, baseband was unknown, no imei, so I pressumed that it was for chinese version only. I did a clean install.

Seems to be working fine for the OP though. At least signal and baseband are working fine based on screenshots.

There are 3 or 2 Chinese app but you can delete it.

I can't get rid of two chinese apps - the orange one with the smiley and the red one with some puppet and FM sing. Apart from that, rom works just fine and I won't be going back to MIUI soon.
