Z3c sudden death - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi i got this z3 compact from dubai and i am really impressed but a lot of problems occured.
First the headphone jack port don't work anymore then comes the sudden death.
Can't turn on the phone and no red led when charging. After alot of effort i sucessufully turned on the phone with volume + power buttons.
But still a lot of problems, no rotation no gyro no accelerometre no proximity detectir no light detector and when i launch google maps the phone restarts. I did a reset with pc compagnion and nothing better.

wow. How can you bring it back to life .... I am having a sudden death. Can you please give more details, thanks !

Keep it in charge with the wall sector then hold power and volume up buttons together for at least 10 seconds

[Q] Nexus one wont turn on

hi all.
I have a nexus one which run cyanogenmod 7 in 1 year. Until last month. Suddenly i couldn`t turn it on. I though the battery was very low, so i charged for hours without any help.
I have disassembled the phone and checked the power button, but it was ok.
I found also out that the phone can be turned on even the power button is broken, but it didnt helped at all.
If i plug the charger in to the phone, the charger led lights on ( orange), but nothing on the screen appears, no response at all.
Now the battery is full i guess since the led is green.Sometimes the led blinks when i take the battery in and out. (Blink orange-green-orange...)
Is that something that can be functionale again ? it was my first smartphone and would like to see alive again
I found out the power button flex print was almost cut-all-the of the pcb.
I was managed the solder one of them together, and woo hoooo it turned on
But the digitizer doesnt work now it starts correctly op , but screen doesnt give response back

[Q] Xperia T won't turn on or charge

Hi everyone ! I bought an xperia T two months ago, everything was perfect until this morning ! I was listenning to my music suddenly the phone turned off and when i tried to turn it on nothing happened ! I tried to hold the volume+ button and the power button but no vibrations or led light. I can't use flashtool because the phone can't boot on flashmode ! I plugged the phone on charge for several hours but nothing ! I really need some help because i can't send it back to sony !
Please guys i need help cuz i can't afford buying a new phone !
try pressing the power button while putting it on a charge. if it vibrates or a led comes it still is alive. If that doesnt work try a rubber band around the power button and then on the charge for 24 hours.

If its on charge get it off the charge and try vol+ and power button and hold it for a half minute till you feel vibrate. if you dont see the vibration.
If that doesnt work get it off the charge and try pressing power button and then put the usb in.
I keep coming back to these threads whenever my Experia T is acting up again. I finally bit the bullet and went the hardware way as described in a comment on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWox7kCygRE
"In the end I fixed this problem by removing the back cover (one screw in where the SIM card goes) and detaching the battery supply from the phone. After a minute or two I reattached the battery supply (its a little yellow tab beside where you plug in the charger) and put the cover back on, plugged into charger and it started charging as normal."
It's surprisingly simple, to be honest.

Odd frozen issue

So I took my charger with me to class today because my phone was almost dead. As it was charging I began to fiddle with it ex: go on reddit . Suddenly The phone began to lag and the screen shut off. I unplugged it and began to hold down the power button.... Had it held down for about a minute and still no results. The charging light is stuck green even when off the charger and the navigation buttons are stuck on. When holding down the power button the navigation buttons would also flash as it normally does but im not getting any feedback from the device. Anyone have any solutions? I need my phone to be working asap. If there isnt any hope i may as well upgrade.
Little update: I let the battery die out and plugged it into the charger. After half hour it still wouldn't turn on. Several hours after that I found it on and running. Very strange....

[Q] Broken Xperia Z

Hi everyone!
4 days ago i washed my phone for about 10 seconds, phone worked normally. After 1 hour i saw water went into both front and back camera. I got out all flaps and after some hours cameras were functional again. After even more hours buttons started to act weird. Sometimes power button wasn't working, sometimes volume up was acting like power button and so on. I tried to restart the phone, sometimes it went into safe mode(probably volume button was pressed by itself). Finally I couldn't start the phone at all(perhaps the power button stopped working at all).
After that i calmed down and put my phone into rice(hoping that would absorb water if any). After 24 hours i had no luck. When i had connected my phone to computer, the led was red, phone vibrated 3 times and then again and again.
Next step was to open the phone( removing the back with a hairdryer), took out the battery and trying to dry the phone with hairdryer. Still no succes. When connecting to PC and start flashtool, my phone wasn't recognised. I installed Sony Update Service (SUS) and then when i connected my phone i heard that sound you often hear when connecting a new device to an USB port. Now my phone is seen by flashtool, but it's always in fastbootmode. I even flashed CWM and it worked.
The problem is that it seems volume up is pressed always so i can't enter in flashmode to flash 4.4.2, it always goes into fastboot.
When on battery the phone is dead at all. Still when i try to charge the phone, it starts, displays Sony logo then shows that it's charging (at first that battery was empty but after 2 hours it got full charged). If i press power button it shutdown.
To resume, when on battery nothing happens( the battery could be dead). When plugged to wall charger the phone starts charging( so battery could work). Power button does nothing at all when on battery, but works when phone is charging or when connected to PC in fastboot.
If anyone had any idea what I could do I would be very appreciative. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me.Thank you very much for your support!

Even if i down't press anything, just connect the phone to usb, led is blue, that means it's in fastboot mode...so i think volume up is stuck, pressed.

or the volume pcb might have shorted
Please remember this for the rest of your life:
When you notice that water has went into your device.... TURN IT THE F OFF AND LET TIT DRY...
Using it while it's wet from the inside is really bad.
Update Guys
Today I've replaced that yellow connector that contains power, vol up and vol down buttons. I managed to enter flashmode and flashed the newest official rom .233. Power button and vol up work like charm, vol down is dead.
The problem is that my phone is stuck on safe mode(probably because vol down is stuck). I want to know if there's any solution to get rid of this safe mode. I read somewhere that changes can be made to the kernel so that vol down will be disabled for ever. If you know any ROM, any mod, whatever that disables the vol down button i'll appreciate your help.

Z3+ Dead [Water Damage]

Hello guys, My Z3+ Is one and half years old now. Yesterday tested its waterproofing ability in the swimming pool, everything was working for an hour then suddenly the touchscreen stopped working and afterwards the power button also stopped working.
Volume and camera shutter buttons were working, then i though to let it dry out a bit for few hours.
The phone was completely dead after drying it out. After a long day i tried to charge the phone, it turned on but now only sony logo appears and red light blinks and vibrates three times and restarts continuously as i plug the phone to the charger.
The phn doesnt turn on with the power button, it only does when its connected to the charger. Please help if someone had this issue or any suggestions
Remove back cover of your phone, then remove display connector and clean it and reconnect it. I got the same issue but after doing this it works for me.
