I cannot get my Exchange/Outlook calendar to display events. I have appropriate lock screen and remote wipe security requirements in place. I can only get it to display if I install a 3rd party Exchange app. Email works fine though.
This seems to be a problem with ZTE Nubia phones as well. Each one I've had I've encountered the same issue. Never had this problem on any other device.
Help would be appreciated!

I tried to configure my Galaxy Note to work with an Exchange server. The emails sync fine, but contacts and calendar do not show up at all on the phone. Anyone knows what I need to do to get my contacts and calendar to show up?
Thanks
Wow, deafening silence... lets ask it this way, did anyone manage to sync contacts and/or the S Planner with an Exchange server?
I would like to use the google account only for the Android Market and sync everything with the exchange server at work.
Works fine for me, syncing OTA with an exchange 2010 SP2 server. Email, contacts, calendar, and even tasks.
Works fine for me too...

Worked fine for a few weeks, but having the same problems. Doesn't sync anymore with exchange. Now using Moxier and it works great but I really mis the S Planner together with S Memo. Also the graphics of Moxier is very simple, but it works. Would be great if there was a solution for syncing well again. Strange though that it worked fine for about 2 weeks.
It's a problem that I had faced since I got my note since last Nov. It started with "IRM not supported" error after syncing fine with Exchange 2007. Read more from my thread in my signature (if I remembered putting there). If not, search with the words
"IRM not supported". I'm with LA1 now and still have problem, latest being missing emails. While waiting for new firmware, I'm relying on TouchDown for my emails.

Can you give some guidelines. What is the name of you tasks in exchange and the name in s-planner. I can send task to exchange but I can´t received.
Best Regards
hello all
i've had my phone since april and it's never disappointed me. i think everything works great on this phone and have had no problems
but recently the only way i can check me email is by going into the native email app itself and refreshing it.. same goes for gmail app and htc weather.. i've checked all the settings and there all set to push even when not at peak time but still doesn't make a difference.
could an app i've installed perhaps messed with the settings? is anyone else having 'syncing' problems and knows a solution?
please help if possible
had a look on google and doesn't seem to be a resolution (that i could find, anyway..)
:highfive:
Have you made sure that you have auto sync on? Go into sync & accounts and make sure that the accounts are set to sync

This annoyed me back when I have a Nexus 4, and I assumed it was the Nexus, or android 4.2.2 but it occurs on the Gmail app in android 4.1.2 as well.
If you test the gmail app, by sending emails to gmail account, and waiting for it to notify you of the emails, it'll take an age, unless you go into the app and update it manually.
I have auto sync on and all my accounts are set to sync, it even shows that it syncs the gmail account regularly, but the app just doesn't push the mail to you.
Not sure what can be done about it, but simple tests will show it happens regardless of auto sync settings. I am considering using the Email app and pulling mail every 15 minutes.
I have the exact same problem, it seems to me it only occurs with Sense-apps, for me it was the mail first, then I noticed the weather as well so I checked Blinkfeed and all have the same behavior, they won't update automatically. On my homescreen the date and weather is still the one from yesterday.. Quite upsetting. Surely you can use 3rd party apps for all this if you depend on that updating by itself or you could do it manually, but it's still very much an issue for me so I've written to HTC yesterday, curious if they can help with this.
Ah thankyou for the suggestions all! So I had a fiddle round with everything, went into the Gmail app turned auto sync on.. But also realised I have the Trust Security app and it was measuring my data. I turned that off and ta da.. My push is working again! Anyway got a better suggestion for a security app!? Haha.
Honestly love this phone and HTC seem really great to me so far! So hope they reply to you.
Thanks again everyone hope it doesn't do this again I was getting really worried haha

Hello everyone!
I've been using the HTC for a little over one month now and have been very happy with it so far. It is a great smartphone in every respect.
Today however, I noticed that emails which I send over the stock app using Exchange ActiveSync do not display a timestamp. The emails are sent without a hitch and they are received just fine as well. However, when i open Outlook 2013 and look at the 'Sent Items' folder, the column where the time is normally displayed says 'None' for the Emails which I have sent from the HTC's own client. This only happens with emails sent for the stock app - if i send an email using the same account using Outlook app, the timestamp displays just fine.
Furthermore, if i open the account on Outlook.com, the timestamp also displays fine, even when sent from the HTC stock app.... Yet I really doubt this is a problem with Outlook however, as every other account I have (including several other Exchange accounts) work perfectly fine. Outlook 2013 only seems to have trouble reading the timestamps on emails sent from the HTC stock app and nothing else.
Has anyone else also experienced issues with timestamps missing from outgoing emails?
(The attach screenshot is of my 'Sent Items' folder in Outlook. The highlighted portions are the emails sent through the HTC One stock email app...)
I just installed Outlook 2013 today and have noticed the exact same problem. Does anyone have a solution?

I ditched the stock app for the official Outlook app.
I'm running Gear Manager 1.5.120903 and Software UAMK7 on Note 3. I'm considering returning my gear because i don't not get full body notifications from Touchdown, my work email exchange client, I do get the title of the emails but to see the full body I have to go manually into the app on the watch. On the other hand gmail works just fine. Any fixes?
I understand the Sony SWII gives full email content notifications.
I believe that it is because your Outlook server has security settings that make it that way. Mine did. Also made it so I had to have a lock screen with a pin code to unlock.
I Google searched Outlook no pin for android 4.3 and found a solution that worked. I had to flash a zip file.
Anyways. I think the issue is with your email server. Not the watch...

Thanks but can't root my phone as IT can tell. However why does Sony S2 work? Just bought one today and the touchdown email comes thru as a notification complete with entire email body
My company changed over to requiring Maas360 and TouchDown for accessing the 2010 Exchange Server. I poked around through the TouchDown settings to find the new server address and was able to setup my work account using the stock email app. TouchDown is still installed but pretty much disabled. I have had no issues with my work email account and get most of the email body on my gear. Don't know if this will work for you, but it's worth a shot.

I'm fairly certain that this is because Touchdown isn't specifically designed to work with the Gear, and as a result it's just trying to do its best. If Nitrodesk updated their software to specifically communicate with the Gear it'd work ok. You may want to send them a request email, I'm probably going to.

WOW this was great advice So Simple never thought to give it a try or even considered it would work. I now have complete email messages on my gear thru exchange. Thanks
On trying to configure the built-in email client, the gmail setup errors with "unable to establish connection with server".
I have made contact with Huawei on the matter, and the response was that I had to install Gmail official app. That made me wonder what Huawei is doing with their email app. They have issued the app with a separate setup for gmail account connection, but it does not seem to work. And they recommend using a different app.
Do they not care to maintain their own app? And if so, this being their general attitude to problem solving is disappointing. And leaves an impression of a half-hearted effort in development.
Anybody having found a way to work around the issue?
I find using anything other than the Gmail app to manage my gmail a pain in the ass - not sure why you would want to use Huawei's app for Gmail. The Gmail app is way faster and better to navigate. In saying that, I do have 3 gmail addresses (2 google apps and the other Gmail) so I don't ever need a 3rd party email client.

I agree to using Gmail app, and its benefits. It just struck me that they have this issue and don't address it at all. They could at least have removed the option, as long as it is not working.

Hi guys, I just started using Huawei P10 a few days for work. I setup the email using huawei native client and I like it. But since last night, I notice I didn't received any email. I tried to send email to myself but the email didn't go through. I'm curious and check my email using my laptop. Then I saw few email came in.
Then I'm wondering what's happening here? I press sync few time but came out "Couldn't open connection to server".
I tried removing the email and perform setup again... didn't work either.
Has anyone got the solution why this happens?
I'm not saying the gmail apps is not good, but I prefer in that way. Almost like using outlook.
I have a few gmail/msn address, and they all worked well with native Huawei mail client. no problem.
I am using a BlackBerry z30 now, and I loved the blackberry Hub, is that something similar in android? and free is better, or one time purchase is ok,
