Flashlight toggle - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

How can I add the flashlight toggle on my Samsung Galaxy S5 stock deoxed 5.0 build? I tried added it into system.db but it still doesn't work. I am guessing I have to modify something?

This worked for me. It requires decompiling systemui.apk and secsettings.apk, making some smali edits, XML edits, and then recompiling.

EF02 1% Battery Mods with crt, overscroll and lagfix

This is a stock battery mod for EF02. One version is just the battery mod with overscroll (if deodexed). The other one is battery mod, overscroll (if deodexed) and crt animation. These are edify cwm flashable zips.
Big thanks to qbking77 for his overscroll and crt mod. All rules apply. Check his post for more info http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1129492
First of all I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. Use at your own risk. I have only tried this on my stock odex and deodex EF02 tars. This will erase any other theme if you try to flash it over a theme or a rom with a theme. It will also break the rom if it has a modified framework-res.apk or systemUI.apk
The overscroll color is stock. If you don't like the overscroll color extract the drawable-hdpi folder from framework-res.apk\res and replace overscroll_edge.png and overscroll_glow.png with the colors you want. If you don't like the android man do the same thing. Find the battery images that you like and replace them in the drawable-hdpi folder from framework-res.apk\res. If you can't figure this out and really want a different battery icon than post a link to an existing battery mod or upload the images in a zip file and I will make it for you. But please give it a try first because it is very easy to just replace images.
Edit:
Added a stock look with 1%.
Added tachometer version requested by NEXUS 4G.
Added a framework.jar containing
Overscroll, crt and lagfix requested by zman0900.

This is a framework.jar that uncludes CRT, Overscroll and Lagfix by chris41g as requested by zman0900. You need to flash the zip from chris41g first. To use this file just replace the framework.jar included in the zip file of your choice with this one.

Thanks, this is what I've been waiting for

Any chance we can get a version for odex? Or is that not at all possible. I enjoy the additional app space on the phone with odex versions. I am able to get crt animations and all I realy want is battery mod. I have my phone set up exactly how I want it and really only await gingerbreads source to get a better kernel.

It will work on odexed. I tested it on my odexed tar. Overscroll doesn't work but battery and crt work fine. But to be safe do a nandroid backup first.

I did as you suggested and have changed the colors to blue on the "EF02StockAndroidmanBattModOverCRT" but is there a way I could also incorporate the blue flames pulldown? This sorta of thing is way out of what I do but you spelled out how to make the changes in color so I was able.
EDIT: Forget it. I thought one over writes the other but I got Blue Flames Pulldown and EF02StockAndroidmanBattModOverCRT in blue. I'm set but thanks anyway

[Q][I9001] Samsung Keyboard CM9

Can someone show me how i can port Samsung Keyboard on Cm9? I use a Samsung Galaxy S+..
Please help me, i found in all posts...but i had no answer...
Mmm... I think it could be more difficult than you think because CM9 doesn't use Samsung Framework, and Samsung Keyboard needs its own framework...
Otherwise I think You need to decompile the apk and modify everything to delete samsung's framework from the keyboard...
I don't know much more, sorry...
How i can decompile and recompile the apk file??? Can you show me?

Difficult: yes
Impossible: nope
There's a reason we've got the Xperia S keyboard on CM9 already...

to decompile an apk you use ApkTool (google it) after that you dig all xmls and delete samsung stuff from it. On I9000 forum they already ported it to cm10. Not sure about cm9. You may look there

I am planning to change the toggles icons, but not planning to change the battery icons.
But anyone is welcome to make his own theme and post it here.
Hi,
I have added my own take to this by changing the icons.
Use the quick panel settings to change the order of the buttons and which ones to show.
The download link is here
XperiaT_14button_toggles-gregbradley-mod.zip - 1.41 MB Now working again
Credit to peetr_ for the original port, all i have done is change a few icons.
EDIT
JB Version Here
Great, I linked your post in the OP.
Not work on Tx. Can someone port this mod for xperia Tx?

It is working, did you remove odex file of you come from stock
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
Oh, well, I forgot to mention that.
It's deodexed, so I guess the odex file should be deleted by updater-script.
For now, as the post above me says, delete SystemUI.odex, before installation.
nice mod, thanks!
BTW, there's a green square over the signal bars when wifi is disabled. Can you fix this?
Thanks in advance

Just a head's up, if theres was a mod, it would rewrite your SystemUI.apk and any mods that had anything to do with SystemUI.apk will be overwritten. I used to have it on my ROM but it was very unstable and it was very difficult to get it to work with other mods that need the SystemUI.apk modified.

that's why you learn how to mod the systemUI.apk for your current rom if you'd like to use it.
