Currys uk preorders only

Hi if anyone else here has ordered from the Currys store in uk please discuss it here shipping and dispatch confirmations etc so far Currys is stating 19th July as arrival date.

I ordered from Currys.
Mine is still showing as
Delivery within 3-5 working days Thu 19/07
Got it at a bargain price of £189.99 Delivered

I'm hoping they'll deliver faster than 3-5 days

I don't see 3-5 days, just expected 19/7.

Ordered mine on the 1st of July. Also got the £10 discount :laugh:

I don't know why but I have 2 nexus 7 tablets showing on my order page. One of them is showing the delivery date and the other is showing the same thing as your picture. I have only been charged once though. I ordered on the 29th
The same thing happened when I ordered the Xoom from them.

Thought I'd just check mine. and I have a second 'ghost' order.. (
They've taken the money already for the order I have e-mail confirmation of and it's delivery status is "Your items will be dispatched as soon as stock is available"
The second order (it's # is 96 on from the other order) shows as "Delivery within 3-5 working days Thu 19/07"
Bit miffed they took the money from my account so early, and obviously might have the hassle of having to return a bogus order..
Still £189 (and I whopping £2.37 tracking in quidco) is good enough, I can always let a mate have one at cost , £189 ain't bad..
Plus I have a Google order I made within a couple of hours of launch, I'm hoping that comes next week!

Yes, only Google will be selling the 8gb version. All retailers will get the 16gb version

I have 3 orders showing and to be honest I have no idea how their system works. 1 showing 'delivery soon as stock etc..' and the other two states '3-5 working days 19/07'. I called them a day after I found out. Chap on the phone said it should only show 1, asked him to cancel the two dormant ones. He said he did, but they were still there. However I was assured only one payment was taken.
The whole thing just seems like a shambles, we shall see.

Anyone preorder real early and still not have shipping info? I preordered at 1130 cst, June 27 (before the play store was taken down) and still have no shipping email. My wallet account is unchanged, though it does show my order. I've seen several reports including a friend of mine who ordered days after me getting their shipping emails. Does Google not ship their product's in the order they received? Anyone who ordered that first day early not have their shipping info?

I'm on the same boat ordered the 27th, and still no shipping email. My friend ordered 3 days after me and has his shipping email. Whack!

At least, when you call their hotline, they answer your call in the order in which it was received!! Not sure how shipping the newest orders first is a good business practice. (Based off the thread with all the order information, I believe there is a clear pattern to shipments)

I'm frustrated because I'm not allowed to cancel an order that was not charged. Was not shipped. Was not communicated. Is it not clear to all that they dropped the ball with LIFO shipping??
This is NOT about the set expectation of 2 to 3 weeks! That is completely understood! This is about how things in life work! Waiting in line for concert tickets before they sell out comes to mind. You get them based on your position in the line! If they sell out then sorry... Rather than waiting a week to order, some people were sitting and waiting for the ability to order first!

There were plenty of people watching the keynote. Google fans, press, and competition. As fans which ordered their device as soon as the order site came up, why are we being made to wait at the back of the line??? And people that were slow to pull the trigger are getting all their shipping info first??? Am I missing something? Is this bizzaro ordering???

Ordered a 8GB during the keynote on the 27th + ordered the gray case. No information received yet. I already picked up a 16GB model at Sam's so I am going to return the 8GB to Google Play... but I would love the case!

I ordered on the 28th and I haven't been charged or seen shipping.
I also ordered the case, so maybe that's holding up my status change.

I was late to the game compared to some of you other guys. I preordered the evening of the 10th. A day later I was charged, which told me maybe it has shipped? I've received nothing though, and I can't seem to find a way within Google Wallet to check the status of the order number.
I can't argue though, since a lot of you guys ordered far before me and are still waiting. But I share equal curiosity in regard to having some sort of further notification on the subject.

Play store on June 27th. Got tracking # on Saturday. 16gb. No case.

You aren't telling the entire story. Did you order a case with your order? Nearly all the orders I've seen that haven't processed yet were ordered with the case. There are many stories in the sticky post.

so for those who have bad experience with wirefly and are looking for a cheap alternative for pre-ordering the HTC One newegg is doing a pretty decent pre-order for new/upgrades in both black and silver variants.

I for one will likely to go with the newegg route pending they are still offering it this friday. as i've had some issues in the past with wirefly.

Newegg Wireless and Wirefly are both run by Simplicity LLC, so you will be dealing directly with Simplicity by pre-ordering through either site. Newegg doesn't actually run through own "wireless" site. Simplicity technically "owns" the site, uses their name, and probably gives them x percentage for using their name and advertising. You can find more information on both websites.

damn thanks for that bit of information, it seemed weird the pre-order looked almost exactly like each other but that makes far more sense

Pre-ordered from newegg earlier today (don't know if im going to keep it over my note 2).. and now my order status says awaiting inventory... don't know if thats normal or they're low on stock.. guess I'll wait and see if it updates as it gets closer to release

So these are supposed to ship on the 19'th, correct? If that's the case, the 'next day' delivery service isn't going to mean much, as the 19'th is a Friday and the next business day is the 22'nd.

They have actually since changed their policy to read "ships when available" instead.
If they do ship on 4/19 though, next day service means you would receive your phone on Monday, while their standard 2-3 (business) day shipping would mean you could receive your phone as late as Wednesday. So it's still technically an improvement!

I ordered the 32GB black and it's since changed from "Ships When Available" to "When Pigs Fly". /s
Anyone else notice the black version isn't even listed any more? I'll be glad if I get it by the end of the month if not by the end of summer. Meanwhile, I will keep checking this thread and lurking in the main HTC One forum.
Edit: Just got an email right after I posted this from whereismyorder.com that the Black is delayed. They will switch me to Silver if I reply. Not sure what I am going to do.

This cache can be cleared, but you must do it manually. This bug can only be fixed with an update from HTC, will they release one?

Thanks OP! Ordered mine yesterday. I originally placed my order on 4/6 through the email that I got from htc, which was actually through Letstalk.com, but I cancelled it as soon as I saw this from Newegg.
I even got the Otterbox Commuter Case and it was still about $30 cheaper than going directly through htc. Great find, thanks!

Fyi. Newegg uses wirefly for their phone service. Your still buying from wirefly.

I asked Newegg support when I might expect to see it ship. They said they are expecting them to arrive at Newegg on the 19 and ship from their warehouse within 24hrs. Not sure how accurate this is, you'd think they'll want customers to be able to get the device when it launches...

This is my daily driver and Developer Edition doesn't get OTA updates ever since the S4 Dev Edition so I am okay with it. I never expected Samsung to turn themselves around like they did so they truly deserve my money this year! :good:

I am debating whether to get the Edge since the functionality is very limited.
Just read that XDA is being assimilated by G**gle. What does that mean for rooting?

Same ship date I received. Hopefully it ships early.

I should of also noted, it was the gold 128gb version and ordered around 310 am.

I ordered the 128 Gold. My shipping day is on May 1 ?

from what i read... If you ordered the gold 32GB it is delayed til April 21st, gold 64/128 are delayed til May 1st, and black/white 128GB are delayed til April 17th.

preordered my 32GB Black Sapphire and it will be here April 10th :good::good:

Yup, not sure how but that's what I paid full price. I'll take a pic of my order here soon. I think it has to be honored tho hopefully.

Ordered my S6 Edge - 64GB - White Pearl.
Says it will ship 4/10, however I talked to a Verizon Rep. and Supervisor who both assured me that it will actually go out 4/9 and get here 4/10

From what I saw any 128GB was 4/17, and any gold was 5/1. Everything else was 4/10.

Will us Tmobile users get our phones this week?

Does anyone think we will get the Note 7 shipped to us this week for those who ordered it? I ordered mine in Aug 4th. Everyone says they always get their phones at least a week before the stores officially start selling them.

I haven't had a Android phone since the Note 3. I'm jumping from the IPhone 6 Plus to the Note 7. I ordered mine through AT&T on the 5th around 5am. I've seen one AT&T guys says his phone is ready for shipment. Mine still says "In Progress" and "Your item is in process for shipping." Does this mean I'll hopefully have mine shipped this week?

I preorded a Note 7 through Sprint and they are shipping on 8/17 since Store launch is 8/19.

All the orders from all the carriers have the same "official" shipping dates which coincide with Samsung's "official" U.S. launch/on-sale date. The launch date for the Note5 was August 21st and AT&T shipped mine on August 13th. I know T-Mobile shipped the Note5 early too. That's what everyone here is hoping happens again.

Actually Sprint's site says "Ships by 8/17" So they are almost guaranteeing it will be earlier then that. But we don't know how much earlier.

Where can I find an estimated ship date after pre-ordering with JOD from T-Mobile? I looked at my lease agreement and all it mentions is pricing.

I didn't have a down payment, so it's a bit higher.
It's $37.50*18mo + $175 Purchase Option ($850 total). I'll also pay sales tax in the end.

I thought the 70 down was required? I know the sales tax is not charged in the beginning like Regular jump.

I Dont believe that's accurate, no issues with my credit. Just like the iPhones, you go above 16gb version and they want money down. it States on the website 69.99 up front for note 7.

The minimum down payment is $69.99, even for the most well qualified customers. You will not be charged until the phone ships though.
