Sorry I am new to this forum. I did searched but the models and versions are different from mine.
Could you please be kind enough to provide me the links? Thanks.
If the models and versions are different then you don't have this phone ???
If you have I9305 then please read multiple identical posts asking the same question day after day .

Root Impossible
Hey Guys, i just tried different Softwares, and the latest Root patch on Dev-Board for the S3 LTE
but i dont know how to work...
i use odin to flash it on CWS, then i restart and get into SD Card, load RootSuperSUBuysBox etc..
it will installed and everythin looks fine,. when i restart my phone then comes this up:
SuperSU has Stoped "ok"
Security Information: The System has blocked a APP called SuperSU to grant access for something etc...
so i guess Knox will take him out,.. but... i go to the settings ---> software and turned of everything what to do with Knox.
finally i downloaded a single SuperSU package and installed it. it works but when i start it the message comes up: u dont have SU, please install SU manually to use SuperSU.
so guys.. im really speechless.. sorry for my bad grammatic but im really sad about this.. i dont know hot to fix that. i dont want this terrible knox anymore on my system!
maybe i do some mistake while flashing and installing SU ?
i dont know.. i cant find really a helpful post or thread about this.
PLEASE HELP!

Hi,
I'm not sure what method you use to root your phone but for me, I managed to gain root access through this method.
1) Root phone using CF auto root for I9305. http://download.chainfire.eu/232/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-m3-m3zh-gti9305.zip Phone says SuperSU has stopped unexpectedly and Knox says an app has attempted to bla bla...
2) Download this zip file here. http://download.chainfire.eu/382/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip
3) Unzip the file on your computer, go to "common" folder in the extracted files.
4) See this Superuser.apk in the folder? Copy that to your Galaxy S3 I9305. (DO NOT TOUCH OTHER FILES IN THE FOLDER. ONLY COPY THE SUPERUSER.APK FILE.)
5) Make sure Unknown Sources is ticked in Settings > More > Security.
6) Get a file manager and install the Superuser.apk you just copied from your computer to your phone.
7) Open the SuperSU app and a popup will prompt you to disable knox. Disable Knox and you should have root access.

The previous post by me was exactly what i did. I just rebooted my i9305 and SuperSU doesn't force close. I also still have root access even after rebooting my phone. No buttons to press anymore. I'm really sorry if I couldn't help you.
Just to be sure, try re-installing the Superuser.apk again. Then open the new SuperSU app and go to Settings. Is the version number v1.93?
By the way, My I9305 has exactly the same firmware as yours, Baseband: ...XXUEMK1, Build number: ...XXUEML8
Root doesn't work...
I've tried a lot to root my i9305 after the 4.3 update, none of them being successful.
Samsung have also decided to make it even harder for us which means that 4.1.2 cannot be flashed back onto i9305 after 4.3 has been installed..
I'm really pissed off at them for that.
I hope your golf ball/band-aid galaxy s5 goes well.
I managed to root my i9305. I have problems to flash custom roms thou. When will we be able to do that? I don't care about my warranty being void.

Hello,
I make the update today for version 4.3 and i can make root in my S3 LTE.
Can you please explain step by step the process to root the S3.
I´m a beginner and yours explanation is not detailed for me!! Sorry.
Thanks,
MigasMike
For you it would be easiest to download framaroot ( Google search it! ) I know it worked with me on 4.1 but it should work on 4.3 also. Try all three rooting modes in the app
Sent from my GT-I9305 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
i saw ppl using Kingo App to root...and rooted succesfully....

Does it work for MKC?
I used the chainfire auto root method and had the same issue with Knox detecting supersu and stating the supersu had stopped. I found on the forum somewhere that all you have to do is simply ignore the Knox message and go to the play store and simply update supersu, when that's done and you open supersu it will now give you the option of disabling Knox. I've successfully rooted my 4.3 i9305 and installed Wanam exposed along with the Boeffla kernel.
Mr
Thanks

For me had worked!
I have a I9305XXUEMK1 with 4.3.
Could i uninstall completely Knox? and use another firewall?
Thanks
after i've reboot the phone it reboots as unrooted same issue like you guys ... the solution comes with updating supersu... i've reboot the phone and still rooted... i really hope this will be a permanent solution.
since you don't care about your warranty it's easy to install a custom ROM...flash a custom Recovery(i recommend CWM) and flash the ROM you want...back-up first in case something bad happens(never did in my case) and follow install instruction for the ROM you are installing...
Hi there, I just rooted my s3 lte 4.3 and it says SU not working, I can't install the apk and I can't update in playstore, what should I do?

If you are rooted, have a custom kernel installed, are unencrypted, or have TWRP installed, the OTA will fail. Also, if any system apps are disabled it will cause the OTA to fail.

Go back and read what I wrote, carefully. The answer is there, in my first response.
Ok I was having issues with finding clear answers and instructions on rooting and installing xposed to this tablet and now that it's done I thought I could help future users looking for answers.
Rooting: very simple
* unlock developer (tap build number until it says you're a developer).
* check OEM unlock and usb debugging.
* use a root apk: kingoroot, kingroot, srsroot or one click root (kingoroot worked well for me but I've heard of the others working)
* download supersu and replace the bs superuser app the root installed.
DONE!!!
installing xposed framework: this was a bit of a pain.
* download xposed and the framework img (will link but you need sdk22 version for 64bit)
* download flashfire (used to flash the framework)
- move the framework from downloads to the flashfire folder
- Tap the plus (+) button at the bottom to show the menu.
- Choose “Flash ZIP or OTA” menu
- leave all the options as is and flash it.
TIP: download the Uninstall and move it just in case something goes south.
You're done now go have fun.
- kingoroot http://www.kingoapp.com/
- flashfire http://flashfireapk.com/FlashFire-Download.html
- xposed framework http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk22/arm64/xposed-v86-sdk22-arm64.zip
For others coming to this thread - you can remove KingRoot by using the SuperSUme apk, found here: https://www.apk4fun.com/apk/56552/
Anyone figured out how to root with the newest firmware? Or is it possible to downgrade? Thanks!

Its not working on stock. You can do System-less installation. Mbe that works.
Hi,
sorry for posting double / at the wrong place / whatever, I'm still quite a noob when it comes to phone modding. I DID use the search function, and Google, and have literally read articles since days and tried out many things, but nothing worked. Please heeeelp!!!
To the topic:
I own a Galaxy S5 Mini DuoS (G800H/DS) with Stock ROM 6.0.1 Marshmallow. I managed to install Magisk 18.0 successfully on it (as the app says). But for some reason I can't install "Xposed for Magisk". When I download it through the Magisk App, whenever I reboot it gets stuck at the 'Samsung' logo (the animation that follows after the 'Samsung Galaxy S5 mini startup screen). Only way to get it to boot again is to go to Custom Recovery and remove Magisk with the uninstaller .zip ...
To make things short, is *ANYONE* here who has a Galaxy S5 mini with Marshmallow and a confirmed *WORKING* Magisk / Xposed setup? Then please, PLEASE tell me what exact files I have to download and how I have to set it up step-by-step (noob, remember?) ...
Apart from that, any other suggestions appreciated. I previously managed to install Xposed (custom build for Samsung) _alone_, but I want it as a module for Magisk instead ...
