Hello!
I have a problem in mi P7 with the microphone in voice calls.
The other person can't hear me . However , if I use headphones with microphone or if I put the speaker, then they can hear me.
In addition, in the other applications microphone works perfectly , so I discard it is a software problem.
I installed a clean version of b609, b619, b620 and b621 and wipe caché but I still have the same problem. I am currently in the B621.
Anyone can help me? :crying:
I have the same issue! All of a sudden the mic stopped working. When i call 'handsfree (by speakers) the phone works perfect.
I called huawei and they said it's a common problem and i have to send for repair to them...
Can't miss my phone, any other options?

I have a Xperia Z1 and i have MIC issues. It is a primary mic. People can not hear me well, there is sparkling and like waterfall/windy sound.
I tryed Factory reset and it doesnt work. Secondary MIC working fine but not Primary.
Even when recording videos it is the same.
What is the issue of this? Is it standard problem with Z1? Its not expensive to replace to new one but i just wonder if someone other have same issue?
Where is the MIC flex cable located?
I do have the same problem.. But only with whatsapp sound messages, everything else works fine..
can't figure out how to fix this or what is causing this problem.. :/

Can someone help me where the mic is located?
I found a mic on top of the phone under the cover and disabled it and turn phone on and tryed to see if it is any
sound recording but i still got same issue even when mic us not connected to mainboard.
Is it wrong MIC? It has primary and secondary where are they located? Please help

The MIC i disconnected was secondary mic. The primary mic is on bottom of the phone built in with speakers i think.
I believe I have the exact same problem. The primary microphone seems to have died completely or people could just hear a distorted "canny" voice. I have no idea how to solve this.
I have even more miracious issue - my microphone (in C6903, Qualcom MSM8974, software: 14.5.A.0.270, Android 5.0.2, kernel: 3.4.0) works only in Whatsup and not Viber (which is another communicator) and normal call ?
How is it possible that mic works in Whatsup but not in Viber ?

I am using Xperia Z1 C6919. After updating to lollipop it worked fine for one week but now mic is breaking my voice and the next caller cant hear me properly. I dont even know either its a hardware peoblem or software... Mic works perfect for apps like Voice recording and on whatsapp etc. But on call it doesn't. Plz help me...

Hi Arif,
I am also facing same problem after upgrading lolipop in my Z2, i went to Sony Center they enabled Hearing Aids option in call settings
now my voice is clear to the callers. I am not sure weather it's an hardware issue or software issue.
Go to Settings then Call there you can find Hearing Aids

on my LeEco le2 I have installed the EUI 5.9.026s recently I was getting complains from my contact as they could not hear me well. This is what I have found out after my tests:
1) When I make a normal telephone call apparently the only mic activated is the one next to the camera. the bottom one is not
2) If I try to record sounds, or I make a whatsapp call the bottom microphone works fine.
The good news is that it is not an HW problem, then problem is I have no idea how to solve it.
Anyone any tips??

I have next problem on my Nokia 8:
When somebody calls me or when I call someone on viber, I turn on speakers and other side can't hear me. Also when I put it on video call the same issue conitnuous to take. Regular GSM calls or viber VoIp calls works great as well.
I open ticket to a viber about this problem, and they told me I need to contact my manufacturer.
Yesterday I installed an Android pie from beta labs, but the problem still exists. How do you think the problem is hardware?

Got a p20 pro l29. In a normal phone call the other person can not hear me at all, if i put it on speaker it works a bit.
Whatsapp voice messages work partially. It has a bit of a rattling sound and i sound like i am far away.
Any ideas?

I have a problem only video calling. My voice is not go. (whatsapp Skype pubg).But 2 microphone are working normally. Android pie 9.0.0.161 same 197 same 200 same and now 9.0.0.202 same.

I have the same problem with my p20 pro. Checked it with hicare and found out that my microphone is not actually working normal. It gives this rattling sound and my voice is registered low. Like very very low.
I hope someone can find a solution for this problem.
I have the same problem. It works fine with a headset, but the mic is all garbled. From what I've seen, this is a common problem on this phone. I'm sending it back.
If you are having this problem, it is most likely a hardware issue. I would send your phone in for repair.
