Moto X 2014 - sleep mode only vibrates for priority interruptions - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Moto X 2014 - sleep mode on dowtime allows only vibrate for priority interruptions
After the 5.1 update my moto assist, as expected, puts my phone in sleep mode at the downtime, timmings of which I have pre-defined.
I have chosen to allow only priority interruptions during that time.
However, the priority interruptions are vibrate only by default at the start of the downtime. Which I don't want. I want the priority interruptions to have max volume by default. And it was working just like that before. And I do not remeber making any settings changes. An I can't find how to set a default volume for priority interruptions.
Thanks for help in advance.

In 5.1 the settings for interruptions are independent from Motorola sleep mode and they work together, you have to go to settings/sound and notifications/interruptions. There you can choose the priorities of the notifications. Hope this is what your looking for.

Thank you but not quite what I was looking for.

I have doen necessary settings according to my understanding. But the problem I am facing here is, allow me to explain,
In moto>Moto Assist>Sleeping I have set a downtime as 11pm to 5am (next day)
Allowing only priority interruptions,
At 11 pm, My phone goes to Sleep Mode as expected.
Alowing only priority interruptions, as expected.
However the problem here is, the volume for priority interruptions is only vibrate. But I want it to have maximum volume.
If I use the Interrruptions downtime settings of lollipop. It works as expected. However, it would be nice to get moto assist be able to do that. Thanks for your response earlier. And any further help.

[Q] Toggling Normal, Silent & Vibration Modes?

In Kit Kat, I held down the power key for a second and was then able to select different sound profiles depending on where I was.
In Lollipop, the only option I get is Power Down!
Have the toggles moved somewhere else?
They have been removed, the tap the bell icon in the volume bar (through the rockers), it will set to vibrate. And then, there is the priority settings to mess about - no silent mode, for now; perhaps on 5.1!
Cool thanks
Press one of the volume buttons. Then tap "None". That will set your phone for no interruptions which is what I'm finding to be silent mode. You can set some contacts to have a priority and use the priority setting to allow certain contacts to still ring.

Note that this will only work until the next time Moto Voice is invoked (purposely or accidentally); then the phone will set the ringer volume to 60% and leave it there.
WTF?

Yeah, I think that's clearly a bug. Hope they can fix in next release.

priority notifications and vibrate

I'm having an issue with priority notifications affecting ring state.
Switching between vibrate and full ring volume will turn off priority notifications if they are set on (time limit, indefinitely, and through moto assist). Switching priority notifications on or off will turn the ringer back on if on vibrate. Is there any way to fix this? It seems like priority notifications should not affect ring state. I would test it on another phone, but I don't know anyone who has lollipop.

Exceptions ignored in Scheduled Silent Mode (5.1.1)

Hi!
When I set Scheduled silent mode (e.g. from 23:00 to 06:00), the Exceptions option is completely ignored. Instead Exceptions are only controlled by the slider in the "Volume Button Menu".
So when I use Silent Mode without Exceptions during day then Exceptions will be disabled at night too, even if they are enabled in Scheduled silent mode.
Can someone confirm this issue? Any solutions or outlook that this will be fixed?
Thank you.
I have noticed this as well. I have a scheduled silent mode where I allow phone calls as exceptions, but when it becomes active at 10 pm, it is without exception. Each night, at 10 pm, I have to hit the volume button and switch the slider to allow exceptions.
I am occasionally on call and I need to silence emails and texts overnight, but I must be able to hear phone calls. The way silent mode works now, if I forget to correct the exceptions setting at 10, I will not hear phone calls. Perhaps we should post something to the Sony forum.
Thanks for your reply!
I posted it at the Sonymobile Support forum. (Sorry, I'm not allowed to post a link here....)

Is there a way to set phone volume to 0 in Ring mode using Tasker? (OnePlus 5)

I have a profile in Tasker that is supposed to set the phone to silent mode when I have a meeting scheduled. It works fine, has always done, until I got the OnePlus. The OnePlus has its built in system of Ring mode, DND mode and Silent mode which are triggered by the three step hardware switch on the side of the phone.
What happens is that when my "In a meeting"-profile triggers (and my phones hardware trigger is set to Ring), Tasker tries to set the volume to 0 but since the Ring mode prevents it the volume only goes down to 1 (out of 7 steps).
Someone tipped me of an app called "Sound Profile +volume schedule" which actually managed to change the volume to 0 in my phone when I applied the apps "silent" profile!
I however am not that clever at this (yet) that I can figure out what this app called on to make this happen.
But I'm counting on that some of you smart guys and girls here might know!
Thank you!
EDIT:
I have no ****ing idea how I suddenly got this to work but here it is. A silent profile in Tasker while slider is set to ring mode.
Volume is 0% and not 15% as it has been for a while for me. The ****er just suddenly gave in and works!

This is a few days old so maybe you've moved on. There are apps that will capture intents, maybe that is a way to find out what the Sound Profile +volume schedule app is doing. Then you could send the same intent through tasker. Else, instead of lowering the volume a workaround might be to switch the ringtone to silent. Then there is always AutoTools.

Question Notification problem

Hi.
sometimes (at least once a day) it happens to find the volume of notifications at 0. The volume of calls, system and multimedia are ok, that of notifications is set by itself to zero.
do you have any suggestions on what it might be?
Do you have any automation turned on? (Bixby Routines)
I use DnD during the night, but it is set like the other phone
