Fonts APKs
I used to have a Galaxy S3 and I was able to sideload font apks is that possible on the G4 and if so where do I find them?

Hey Guys,
I know that flipfont is offered in vibrant and the original Galaxy S i9000.
However, we do not have this option as described in the settings where we can change our "font style"
I have access to a couple of flipfont apk files but not flipfont integrated into my fascinate
Is there a way we can extract the flipfont setting apk from vibrant to apply it into Fascinate?
I've recently downloaded a software file for the Tab A (it's Lollipop 5.0.2) and extracted its content to check out the apks in app and priv app, and to my surprise, this tablet actually has all the apps and weather widgets that comes with the Galaxy S6.
Since the Android version is exactly the same as the one on our Tab S, I was wondering if anybody would be interested in helping me port those apks ? So far I've deodexed them and I've tried replacing the SystemUI as well as the Framework-res but I get a bootloop.
Maybe someone with more experience in porting apks would be interested ?
I can upload the System Dump if anybody wants, just PM me.

Great idea! Surely, using systemUI and framework will crash if you use them. Ummmm, what we can do to port is copy and paste parts, and look over and compare it to ours. I have only ported themes so, trying to replicate everything would be a challenge. Can you post the systemui.apk, framework-res, and anything else that works. I might see and try to port, so no guarantee if I can. ☺ Thanks!
EDIT: how about smart Manger and some apps that's cool ?
I'd love a port as the 5.02 update for the tab s was quite underwhelming for me. Samsung should have unified software, no wonder updates are so slow!

I think and i could be wrong that without root you can only use Monotype fonts

These are Samsung galaxy fonts that you have to pay for (clearly not from that link)
That's why they work. There from Samsung already (there the only ones that do work because there paid fonts from Samsung galaxy app store)
You can't use custom fonts without root

That's a matter of opinion.. but I would say no. Not worth it just for a font
It's ****ing stupid they want to charge $2 for one font when they're free on Google play..... it's a damn scam. Apparently buying a $900 phone they don't think you should get a dew perks

There are ways to install fonts on your samsung
I use an app called, Fonts for Samsung (AFonts) from the play store and with it, I am able to install ttf file (font files) that I download off the internet and it has a few fonts that you can download.
Also, check out Wings XDA, I was able to add over a thousand fonts on my note 8 and it worked.

Anyone know to install .TTF font into ROG Phone 3?
Personally, just download the xda fonts apk and install. Tons of fonts. Give it a try.Link below.

I don't know what am I doing wrong, but I have copied some custom TTF fonts to the directory described (/monofonts/ttf ), and I have selected Samsung Sans as the default font, made the backup but I get stuck at the step of installing the TTF font. How do I do that? If i click on the ttf font nothing happens, and I assumed it would appear listed after copying to the monofonts/ttf directory, but no, it's not listed there. Pls help!
