Wow great work here Stang!! I know it says ALL CARRIERS, but Sprint is weird, so this will work with the Sprint S6 correct?!
Also, can you please share just the DNA bootanimation? Looks cool as hell.

You probably remember my work the "Missing Link" for the S5? This is just a newer more universal version.
I can see why you would say Sprint is weird, it's not just sprint. All different US carriers have different signalbars as do the international ones. My Tmo has 5 bar with a 4G LTE for data, Sprint 6 the LTE with data star for data and so on for other variants.
Using the installer I changed my statusbar to show Sprint.
Basically to answer the question, yes, it works for Sprint and should work for all the others as well, even Odexed roms will work.
I could make a zip that included all the files to make the DNA custom zip bootanimation, but why, it's already zipped up in 1 file with all the other mods. Lol
I will post it later for you.
I would say you're best to just download this and start playing
See the screenshot, it shows your style data icons (with my touch on them to make it not take all the space) the signalbars are hard to see because it'sit's AOSP style, but it's 6 bars.

1. Yes I do remember you from the S5! That's why I came into this thread bc I knew of your previous great works! haha
2. The reason I ask for the separate DNA bootanimation files is bc the ROM I'm running doesn't support .zip boot files, only original QMG files.
3. Wow that looks great! Takes up much less space, like you said, I like it better than the stock Sprint LTE logo!
Thanks man.

My version also normally only supports qmg bootanimation as well, I have modified bin files that enable zip files to be used.
Although I think I read something about Sprint having even a different name for the qmg files?
What are you bootanimation files named?

Gotcha, then for now I would recommend not flashing the bootanimation. I will make a note in the OP and fix that for the next version. Thanks for the info

As long as ATT models allow the use of aroma it should work fine with ATT as well. It includes mods to change build.prop to changes carriers and even model numbers. I am running Sprint right now on my Tmo device.
Just so everyone knows, this is new initial release and I'm sure will require some tweaking and adjustments to get things perfect so just let me know and I'll work fixes in as fast as possible. Thanks
IMPORTANT INFO, AN ERROR WITH MY SCRIPT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION. WIFI SIGNALS WON'T INSTALL RIGHT NOW. DON'T PICK THEM OR THE WHOLE INSTALL WILL FAIL. JUST PICK OTHER OPTIONS AN YOU'LL BE FINE. I WILL POST AN UPDATE SOON. THANKS

Looks interesting. Will wait for update and try
And agreed the dna boot ani looks awesome

I'll flash a stockish G925A Rom this evening and give your mod a whirl @stangdriver44 correct me if I'm wrong but did you say it should work on Odex as well?

Sweet! I used your missing link statusbar theme and loved it. I'll be definitely trying this badboy!

@stangdriver44 what about if I flash the stock ATT Rom and root it then run your mod? Might it work?

Nice! Thanks for sharing and appreciate your work @stangdriver44 I got a failed message for the transition animations for G925P

You didn't by chance get an install log did you? At the end of the install there is a button that asks "save log" click it and it will create a txt file right below the zip on your phone. That will give me details about what happened and help troubleshoot. Just post it here and I'll see. Sorry about that. Going to work the kinks out soon. It's tough making it work for every model and variant.

I have tested it on stock Odexed rom for Tmo. It should work because it is not replacing any apk's, it just changing the images in the existing one via the vrtheme script.
If something fails or you get fc's then use the "ozop_rozop_restore.zip" that is created and placed in the ozop folder of your sdcard. Report back with results please. Thanks

@stangdriver44 here is the txt file for the transition animation. Thanks for checking it out,

Ah man, VZW 920V doesn't support aroma. We're limited to flashfire only.
I'll be on Sprint soon though! Thanks for sharing!

Ok guys, I need to get a bit personal before we get to the link.
Everything I do for Android is done in my own personal free time for fun. You are not doing me any favours by using this Rom. I am not obligated to customize the Rom to what you want, modify it to fit your needs better, resolve bugs you encounter or owe you an update. I am aware of most bugs still in this Rom and I am actively working on fixing them. When I get fixes I will update at that time. However, you are free to take my Rom or parts of it at free will and modify to your hearts content with out my permission. That simple. You don't like something about my Rom, then change it on your own. If I can find the time to do the research and mod, change what I want, so can you.

Common concerns and general info
Roaming: This is a feature built in to all Sprint Roms. The setting is still there once I port it to our phone but it does not effect us because we are on Verizon. I can actually remove that setting all together and all the 4G stuff you see as well. I just haven't had the time to get around to it. Anyone who ever used my Pure Speed Rom knows... I did the same thing for that Rom. Its what us Devs commonly refer to as 'DeSPRINTing'. This Rom still has most Sprint settings in it. I'll be getting those cleaned out and replaced with Verizon with in the next few updates. Take it as this: YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR ROAMING.
Bluetooth: I haven't heard of any reports yet for this not working properly. I don't use BT myself so it wasn't really high on my priority list. Since this has been brought up now though, I'll look into it. I have an idea.. just need to test it. Again, with in the next few updates.
WiFi: I'm glad to hear this is working properly. If one person says it is working then that means success. Now this doesn't mean it will work for everyone. I can't control this and I also have no way to test this. But for now more and more people that it is working properly and thats all I need to know.
Kernel: Just use the kernel that is provided with this Rom. It isn't the new OTA kernel but it doesn't really matter. It has all the modules included that anyone needs. Minus overclocking. Overclocking hasn't tested well for me with this Rom so I suggest not using an OC kernel at this time. Maybe when source drops I can sweet talk Tiny into hooking me up with my very own kernel for my Roms or at-least teach me the proper way to build my own(which I've already taken upon myself to start learning).
Themes and Mods: Guys, I'm very swamped and really don't have time to be setting around making them. I'm more of a Rom developer and not a themer. However, if you have an idea and I think it would actually be better for the Rom then I may consider working something out to get it into my Rom. This statement doesn't mean that 'I don't know how to'. I just don't have the time. Now with having said this, if yall have a mod that you really like that you have tested and know 100% that it will work with my Rom as is then please by all means run it by me and at least I will post it in my mods section. I have no problem doing that. For reference: If anyone is familiar with aamikam's mikG 2.5 for the EVO 4G should know that any mod for that Rom will also work for my Rom. That Rom is what my Rom is based off of.

Nice work Wild, I was actually looking at this ROM the other day on the EVO forums thinking it would be nice if we had something like it. Ill give it a go after lunch. Keep up the good work bud
Ok guys, don't get to used to 3.0 weather. I just ran into an issue where if you remove the Sense clock and then put it back the weather animations will force close. So I think I will be replacing the weather animations with the stock 2.1 animations until I can find a fix for the 3.0.
Don't forget to leave comments and feedback please. and if you like my work and time spent you can always just press thanks or rate my thread.

Because we are getting so many good suggestions for OTA updates in our thread AllianceROM_JB XXLSZ_v2 we decided it was time to start a thread for users to post their submissions.
Major Credits to Robbie Hood for making this Rom and to Ficeto for making the awesome Rom Customiser and the Ota app
OTA visuals (and updates) are bound to certain format rules that I will explain in the following posts.
All things posted in here will first be tested and evaluated before being uploaded to OTA
please be advised that mods are not to include complete framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk, SecSettings.apk or android-policy

OTA visuals
Visuals are zips containing images and XML files from apk that are to be changed.
Format for zip name is simple, just try to describe what the mod does, if mod is a variation of existing mods use same format as existing ones.
The .theme in the name is no longer needed.
Inside zip you put name of apk (without .apk). Mods can contain more than one apk!
Also put in the root op the zip:
An empty txt file named theme
A txt file called description with a short description of the mod
An image file in JPG format called preview with an image of your mod
put in the rest of the folders like in original apk
Before uploading it please test the mod yourself by putting it on your sd and flashing from RomCustomiser
If your mod fits an existing category please tell us in your post
If you come up with mods that don't have a category yet, please also make a revert mod containing the same images and xml from the original rom so users can get back to that easily
OTA updates
Ota updates can contain apk, mostly used by Dev's to update the Rom.
Can however also be used for fixes that contain an apk like the stock playstore
They are basicaly CWM zips, with some additions:
A txt file named description with a description of the update
An JPG file named preview with an image of the mod (preferable, not compulsory)
Please remember that all system apps go in preload/symplink/system/app
You can use the base zip that I uploaded here
one more
Thanks a lot Bas :highfive:

Yes. Also, you have to be using the Alliance Ficeto TWRP kernel. Philz must be missing some of the busybox (/?) instructions that make the theme engine work.
Working on a couple more.

if all goes as planned the rom config will have a stock theme option as well so no need to flash a stock theme afterwards for the ones who like stock but just optional via romcustomizer when flashing the rom
is there any chance to get a zip to flash it from cwm?
it´s because I use this beautiful rom as sd rom and can´t flash anything via Rom Customizer :crying:
I tried different zip´s till now with my own png but none works

Obviously, your setup is totally unsupported as far as Alliance team would be concerned. None of the OTA stuff would ever work. You'd might be better off running Alliance as the main 'phone' ROM and AOSP, CM, whatever, as your SD ROM.
But there is hope for you yet...
You need to pull your framework-res.apk, manually modify the background png, and push framework-res.apk back into /system/framework manually via ADB or whatever file manager is convenient (Alliance ROM Manager comes to mind)
You can follow instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2175160 (except in Alliance ROM, Robbie changed the HOLO background name to background_holo_dark.png and NOT tw_background_holo_dark) :highfive:

thanks m8 for ur quick anser :good:
with the ota updates I got no problem,
downloaded with AllianceOTA and flashed via recovery, worked fine so far
and I know it would be the best to flash this Rom as phone Rom,
but I´m to lazy to setup two Roms again :silly:
and you would laugh, I extracted the framework-res.apk from the rom a few minutes ago and replaced that png ,
but not flashed till now
Edit: it worked, I copied over the framework-res.apk manually

Changelog
Code:
Current changelog: -- 14 June
- Added build.prop RAM managment tweaks from @mickeyinid and [user=4517211]@Xileforce[/user]. see link below for the thread.
- Removed /system/app/SecuritylogAgent.apk Hopefully it fixes the Knox screen of death.
6 JUNE
-Reinstalled a free things, should return RAM management back to stock.
- Installed 3 minit battery mod. (www.3minit.com)
-----This will likely cause SystemUI FC when typing decrypt password, I can make a non-3minit version if people are interested.
- File size is larger, I used 7 zip to zip it, no compression.
- Messed with floating.XML, trying to get normal settings menu. It didn't work, but I just left the modified file.
29 May 2015
-More bloat removed.
-No more AT&T locker on first boot.
-I hope all the knox stuff is gone.
-Now should show data icons for Canada (I hate the AT&T ones.) --Maybe not, need to figure out what's causing it not to work.
26 May 2015
Deodexed the /system for easy themeing.
Centered the clock
Made the clock disappear when on lockscreen
Erased the battery icon (I use the "show battery percentage" setting)
Erased the AT&T text in status bar when no icons are shown.
Removed the NFC Icon from statusbar.
Removed the AT&T wifi notification.

FAQ
Q: Where is the Kernel? or Where is the Kernel Source?
A: Since AT&T and Samsung have consipred to lock the bootloader, there is not kernel as flashing anything but stock will probably require an Odin flash to stock.
Q: Any way to get just the SystemUI for use on other DeOdexed ROM?
A: Yes, here you go. SystemUI.apk
Any more, you ask, I'll try answer.

Small update, I have a semi-useless phone for a few days, waiting on AT&T to send me a new one. Mine currently will only get a signal about 25%-50% of the time. I also have some stuff planned with my daughter this weekend, so I probably won't be doing much until I get my new phone and put it through the paces. I had to put stock back on my current S6, and am lazy and don't feel like flashing my ROM back on just to flash stock in a few days . I'll still be around and I'll look into some of the things you guys brought to my attention though.

Downloading now. I'll give a try.
I'm dying to try this, but I'm all pimped out where I am. I dread the two hours to get it where I want, even though I am desirous of your changes... What are the odds a dirty flash would work, coming from Cleanrom? Also, based on the file size, this is largely debloated, is that correct?

It should work. I dirty flashed from CleanROM 1.1 to this one, and it worked fine. I can't promise anything though of course. You can always back up in flashfire and try though.

As long as you have the OE2 update I would say it should work, but I'm not 100% sure.
It is a bit debloated, mostly I took out anything saying ATT (except the amazon app, I like it lol).
@_Dennis_ is themer working now?

I'm looking at some layers (RRO) stuff. was suggested to me via PM. Samsung uses a version of layers, just need to figure out how close to AOSP it is and if some mods can be done to support AOSP layers. Not making promises this will go anywhere, just what I'm currently messing around with.
I had a problem with unauthorized software installed please reboot quite often not sure what that's about

Hi @_Dennis_ !
Can you pleast post unmodified SystemUI.apk ? I want to mod the battery for @s6freak but because you removed the battery it causes a SystemUI fc . Can I ask please where did you mod it ? You can also post just the original unmoded xml/smali if you wish.
Thanks a lot !

Aye, its on my laptop. I can post it tomorrow evening. I changed the values of the battery height and width in an XML file....I think it was the dimens.XML I believe the original values were 15dip. Like I said I'll get you the file tomorrow.

Just center clock as described by ticklefish in the link from OP. And I removed a line about the carrier from the same time as the center clock (status bar.XML) The section commented out in there about Knox was causing systemUI fc if left in, so I commented it out. Otherwise that's all I think I did in systemUI.

Ohhh! Nice -- 1st?
Sweet! Excited!
Nice will try this out when I get home!!
Sweet! Glad to see more options for North Americans. :good:
Great to see another option for us! How big is the rom in size? Curious since I run the Xetro-lightest rom for the s6 . This will be a must flash once it gets uploaded! The AppOps for me is a huge plus - damn Google Play Services
Nice, can't wait to flash
s6
Dopeness. Glad you came over here ?
Sorry for the delay everyone!! I ran one last full wipe clean install and realized I missed some important file!! The good news is they are in and the flash was a perfect success. The upload in in process now, but moving along pretty slow. Hopefully in an hour or so it will be ready. Thanks again for your patience.
Here is just a few shot of what's included...
While I was attaching the pics a new theme just came in to the theme store "Silver Stud" not a real fan of the name, but the work is nice!! Also the upload is up to 57%
A little info about the rom; It's build from the most recent OC9 firmware. It slightly debloated, most of the google stuff it gone as well as some samsung stuff. I will be adding things back in as I find users needing them. The rom is deodexed and the zip weighs in at about 1.17 gb
This is ONLY an initial release and A LOT more goodies will come in future releases including my Aroma Theme builder "Missing Link"
OZOP v1 IS LIVE!!!
Remember this is the intial release and may have some issues that will need to be addressed. It works fine for me, but I can't predict how it will act for everyone. Feedback is required to ensure a quality build!! Thanks and enjoy

No. @The Sickness made me a deodexed base, but couldn't test the updater.script since he doesn't have his S6 yet. I used your Meta.inf folder. Sorry I was so excited to get the rom out I forgot to ask if that was ok. I was able to port most of my mods from my S5 build. There were some changes to smali, that's why I don't have all the options avaible yet. It's going to be a lot more hours comparing the new smali to my old smali and getting it to work.
If you haven't seen this thread, most of the mods I have in my rom are from there. GREAT THREAD. Be sure and thank @tdunham for putting it together and maintaining it!

I'm not one to make a fuss about people using my stuff. I'm all about sharing. I'm 99.9% sure this is Looper with your stuff on top. No biggy. The top notification isn't swipeable which I had a problem with initially. You'll have to edit smali to get rid of sfinder/quickconnect without the swiping being broken. The clock won't set to white on the default theme, you'll have to change the color.
I'm digging what you've done so far, my only complaint would be the boot and shutdown animations. They don't seem to be the right resolution for this device. And, the animations in the rom. Not a fan. Otherwise, seems legit.
---------- Post added at 11:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:44 PM ----------
Remind me where the animations are? I'm gonna swap them out. Are they still an xml?

Thanks for the input. Feel free to open up the apks. You'll see it made from a stock base. I only like to build of stock apks, so I know what's going on inside you know. I did "diff" out your display_settings.xml because of what you did with the Button light!! I was going to put it into my OZOP app, but the script was bigger than the galaxy button app. Good find. I noticed that the top notification wouldn't swipe away like the other. That was different than my S5 so I figured it was an S6 thing. I'll have to get with you on the smali edit if you don't mind?
I am going to change the Bootani for next version. Also when I put my aroma together for this device the Transitions animations are changeable to several others.
Glad to be here and again looking forward to working with you!!

I'd be happy to show you how to fix the notification area. @mrapp actually showed me the correct way to do it. Him and @mr_x_ have been very helpful throughout the Looper experience. (Hope I mentioned the right person lol). I really like the black notifications and heads up, you'll have to show me how you did that. I haven't looked into theming to much.

[AROMA] oZoP Mods - System Animations - 8 full w/5 add-ons [v1.1 - July 30]

oZoP Development Projects are on the way!!!
Trust me, when you start playing with oZoP projects you will understand...
It may take me a long time for initial releases and I don't post updates weekly or for that matter even monthly, I build my projects for Final version ready!!
You've already seen my Aroma Boot/Shutdown animation project.
This is the second installment, just another of many sections that will be available in my full oZoP Aroma zip, hence the project Title
ONE ZIP ONE PLACE
System Transition Animations mod
By flashing this zip you will be given a bunch of choices for different system animation style for screen/window transitions, keyboard/toast views and many others. You will get an additional option to tweak a little for unique styles!!
So I give you this, UNIVERSAL for MOST devices Aroma installer to give users the option for different choices!
This zip will work for MOST device running ANY Rom with ANY version Android 5.0+!
How to use the ozop-restore.zip to revert/recovery quickly without the need to restore or reinstall the whole Rom:
And just to be safe, I have included in my scripts and files a method that will create a flashable restore zip of your files before the mods does its thing!
The restore zip will be inside the new "ozop" folder that has been created and the zip is named "ozop-restore.zip"
If something doesn't play nice, just flash the zip and you'll be back to the way it was before you flashed the mod
NOTE: the script will delete any existing restore zips EVERY TIME you flash a new option, meaning that if you flash the mod again, your original system files will be replace with the file you flash previously!
If you want to have a permanent back up of the original file, you will need to rename the zip inside the ozop folder to whatever, just can't have the same name or it gets replaces everything you flash the mod
BUG REPORT:
Code:
none reported
Report bug properly to get my support
Of course there are many way to properly report bugs and ALL of these ways have one thing in common, THEY ALL REQUIRE VERY DETAILED NOTES of the issue!
I'm moy goimg to go deep into how detailed you could get because lets face it, most people that report improperly are the ones who don't read and probably are going to read this! HaHaHa...
To get support from me I only ask for some simple things
1. What device, and rom you are running
2. What is the issue (no boot, fc everywhere, fc only certain app etc...)
3. Which option did you select
4. Did you get the install log
5. Did you use the restore.zip option to get back running
6. Do other choices share the same effect
That looks like a lot, but it really is the minimum amout of info need to troubleshoot!
Provide me rhat and I'll do my best to fix things and make this fun for everyone.
If you post things like
"Doesn't work", "bootloop" or anyone other similar post that have no value and help development is no way, actually these kinds of post only put development behind amd slow progress die the fact that anyone who cam help has to waste their time reading it!
If these kind of post ever come up, its best to ignore the lazy person and not clog the thread with flaming replies as that too slows development!
Anyway, I don't expect there to be many if any bugs! Been tested by myself and confirmed with users of this device!
Now grab the download and enjoy!

Hm. Will try again with different settings I dont know..
A bug report just came in about the Note 7 choice.
So for now choose other style.
If you do experiance bootloop or not booting issue then follow the restore zip options in OP or select a different choice.
If you do experience bugs, THIS IS A MUST IF YOU EANT SUPPORT...
PLEASE TELL ME AT LEAST THE DEVICE, ROM YOU'RE RUNNING AND IMPORTANT, WHICH SELECTION FAILED.
The good thing to know here is that the failsafe I built in to recover will always get you up and running to figure issues later!
Thanks
UPDATE:
DO NOT SELECT ANY SAMSUNG OPTIONS! I AM REMOVING THEM AS THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OUR LG SYSTEM! FIXING AND UPLOADING V1a soon
@stangdriver44
Just putting ideas here that involve a bit more work.
The look
Putting a dummy overlay APK in vendor/overlay then making your choice of how you want it to look in aroma using the vrtheme you can also change the look of navbar and statusbar and well what ever you want. I've made a proof of concept overlay thats changes the navbar icons. It only involves pngs, and editing 2 XML files to add the destination of what you want to change that's located in public.xml (in my case I've used public.xml from systemui APK) .
Works on most of LG phones and other phones too, AOSP probably as a guy on Xperia also said it works.

I am always open to hearing people thought and ideas! Thank you.
I am actually aware of the ability to theme various items throughout the phone themes.
That is actually how I started my path as a themer/developer. I loved this rom i was using on my old S2! Everything was colorable and themed, except the data icons...
I always had to flash extra zip after updates or fresh installs so I said to myself, if I'm going to build anything it will have to be using an Aroma installer!
Long story short at the peak of my Missing Link Aroma theme builder I had
*nearly 30,000 image and xml files.
*just over 30 options for every part of the phones theme
*some options had 50+ choices to pick from ensuring your theme is a one-of-a-kind!
The project name oZoP (One Zip One Place) was build to be just that, the one zip every users must have!
A complete rom building, theme engine with importants tools for any user any rom!
What you are seeing here with this project is just 1 of a good number of theme options and themeing is just 1 of about 10 or so important things you would need for your phone during a recovery flash session.
My current oZoP build has most of the theme options being built native right into the system and can be changed on-the-fly to the live system no requiring a reboot or need to flash anything from recovery. I built a theme engine that can be selected though the theme setting of the rom. If you want to control, choose my engine, if not go back to stock or a different theme.
This is very old and the engine is much cleaner and many more options.

But my idea is to bring it the Playstore as a whole new style theme engine for ALL LG devices and eventually others devices (about 30% working for Samsung)
OP updated with fixed link to updated file.
Love the idea and definitely love the project. Had a similar idea but time isn't something I have right now to get on with Dev work,so most of my projects are on hold. I hope you'll make it happen :highfive:
Is MIUI setting (animations) working for someone? Tried it multiple times and always have the bootloop. Sugestions? Thx.
A video preview would be welcomed

Is this a question in referance to my mention of developer settings?
My mentions in the OP about dev settings is in reguards to changing the speeds of the system animations. This mod doent change any layouts, only the animations for windows, screens, popup views etc.
PREVIEWS ARE NOW WIP!!!

Note: these are just very quick runs and don't cover all of the various transitions, but you kindof get the idea...
