No adb on fw 23.4.A.0.546? - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Tried researching on the forum before posting here. I have updated ota my ZC3 to FW 23.4.A.0.546. I'm trying to downgrade using the instructions on this guide but my phone isn't registering on adb or flashtool. Anyone else has faced this? How were you able to fix it?

[Q] Rooting with firmware 10.1.A.1.434

Hi guys, I've tried DooMLoRD's easy rooting Toolkit but it says that my firmware isn't supported. I've checked and there's no update available for the firmware in the UK on Orange at the moment. Does anyone know how I can root this? The only reason I want to root at the moment is to be able to hide and show the soft keys.

you could flash any firmware you want with the flashtool and root it afterwards
As stated above, you could update to the latest firmware via flashtool if you wanted to. There are various posts with stock firmware available in the general section. Then it would be possible to root with DooMLoRD's tool.
If you do not want to update, just use this to root - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=31545627

No OS, can't use ADB, firmware 4.06

I've been trying to get my phone up and running but have had no success. I went to sprint and they said since my phone has been tampered and unlocked, they can't do anything except direct me to an XDA post to solve the issue myself. As if I haven't tried that already... So my questions is not about what is wrong with my phone, it is whether anyone knows how to install an OS with the updated 4.06 firmware with the inability to use ADB to push a rom onto my "unable to mount" SDCARD? Sure wish the RUU.exe was out to help...
Any suggestion to flash the firmware: It's been done but unfortunately, it is a partial file. It does not contain the system.img nor is it specified for sprint.
Follow this GUIDE it will get you up and running again

XT1063 22.21.16 Update

Okay so this update just came to my phone this morning (22.21.16.en.US) but I am already on lollipop (22.11.6.en.US), but I have a custom recovery installed (TWRP), with an unlocked bootloader, and I am not rooted. I know I need a stock recovery, and I read somewhere that we don't need to relock the bootloader to update (I don't know if true or false). So how do I go about flashing stock recovery and where do I get the stock recovery image? Could someone please be of assistance. I've looked all over the forums and google, but have found nothing. Also if anyone knows what this update fixes that would be of great help. Sorry if this has been asked before, but like I've said, I've looked and found nothing that would help me.

Unrooting Z1s

Hey, can anyone point me in the right direction or give me some instruction on unrooting my Z1s? I rooted it with the jcase method and now I'm trying to unroot it and return it to stock so I can use my T-Mobile Jump. Using the 'Full unroot' option in SuperSU isn't getting me anywhere and it always prompts me to update its binary when I open it, which always fails. Any help would be appreciated. I've searched the forum and Google for awhile with no luck. Thanks.
Flash. 157 firmware using flashtool or unroot in settings su.
The unroot in SuperSU does not work. Is 157 the name of the firmware I need and where can I get it? I'm running Android 4.3 right now.
I guess what I really need is an explanation on how to flash the stock 4.3 firmware back on the device. Sorry to double post.
How to flash
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=
Firmware 4.3 branded Tmobile or unbranded search in google or in app Firmware Checker and downloander. Whait to link.
Here 4.3 firmware T-Mobile PL
https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B_2ch3Ozc-5Rb1BvV3ZxVkNXQWs&export=download
and 4.3 clean unbranded

Thank you! The first link on how to flash does not work, though.
I suppose I just need to figure out how to boot into recovery mode and flash that now. Whenever I try to enter recovery mode via Rom Manager or TWRP it just resets my phone.

Need help with Moto G 2014 XT1064 and 5.0.2 root and no wifi

So after upgrading to 5.0.2 I attempted to root my phone which killed the wifi.
Seems this is something to do with the boot.img
After attempting different things to correct the issue my phone got bricked and had to be sent to Moto
Now I just got it back and want to make sure not to brick it again. I have read a bunch of different threads and some have firmware that is no longer available or files that others say not to use
Can anyone please point me to instructions that still work today on how to root the XT1064 and have wifi working with latest OTA 5.0.2?
Thanks

Where was your problem? Unlock bootloader, flash TWRP 2.8.6.0 through fastboot ( fastboot flash recovery "name of the recovery" ) and flash latest superSU 2.4.6.
There are a lot of threads about it here on xda, check here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=58913714 If you follow the instructions exactly there should not be any issue according WiFi.
