I have purchased a Lumia 1520 , because it is greater than 1 inch , the Lumia 930 , which has a knowledge. I knew that the 1520 has the same camera as the 930. And the PureView camera it was me.
Now I found out that the 930 has a much more extensive camera . Things that only have the 930 pureview camera, and not at the 1520 device: autofocus, smile detection , Scene , Exposure Compensation , night mode , continues autofocus , video calling and video sharing .
How can i extract the camera main app from the 930 and place / port this into the 1520? Both camera's are technical the same. Why not this software options?
They have absolutely the same system app (provided your OS is the same, the latest) for the camera!
Check which camera app is launched as a default.
Also remember to update both OS ( to Windows 10 Mobile ) and that camera app.
I set the Store to auto-update the apps.
You may also look for other camera apps in the Store.

Hi, i'm coming from Windows Phone and the only reason that stopped me from buying a Z3 compact is the camera2 api non-compatibility.
Camera2 apis enables manual focus, white balance, iso, shutter speed and raw support (my Lumia 930 have all of those)
Is this z3+ compatible with Camera2 APIs? You can check from the Manual Camera Compatibility app (by GD software), Lollipop required

Today have received my Nokia 7 Plus, when i try the camera i see the Live Bokeh mode, but i have a trouble: he doesn't work correctly.
I take a object to do a bokeh, but he say me "Too next" and the photo is blurry.... why?
With normal camera the bokeh effect works fine, but with live bokeh he give me problems. It's live bokeh working ONLY for portraits?

You need to maintain proper distance from the subject for live bokeh.

You could install the Google camera app which has been ported for other phones. Portrait mode is beautiful in that.

Hello there , as you open this thread , you should at least know that Nokia 8 camera is a pretty darn good , espicially in Live bokeh mode .
But i have been bummed that the camera itself with OIS , is capped at (0.5 s shutter speed at camera app , 0.7 s at adobe lightroom) . This is not enough , we need the ability to take better low light pictures. So i request from the devs to make an app (99% sure it would require root) that unlocks the 0.7s barrier , like the Zero Camera Mod of the Galaxy S8

Hey guys I'm trying to use the mi 11 ultra as a webcam with the droidcam obs / iriun webcam app and am missing all of the cameras besides the front and the main camera.
Open camera also does not show the additional lenses. Camera2-api probe only shows front and back (main) cameras.
Is there a way to enable the other lenses? Iam heavily dependent on the ultra wide lens for video calls and streaming...
