Hi,guys.Ive got a weird problem lately. My headphones mic doesnt work with skype call.I can hear my friend but my friend cant hear me.when i unplugged the headphones phone starts to use its own mic and my friend finally hear me.Headphones without mic are also working.
I tried to call him and microphone just works on normal calls.I tested headphone and microphone with my brothers iphone 4s too. They are fine.Have you guys any ideas?
I know man. Doesn't work for me either. I made a thread on talk.sonymobile.com named Skype Issue on 5.1.1. Check it out. Skype just does not work on 5.1.1

It works on all the previous android versions though. So the only solution would be to roll back to kitkat or 5.0.2. Another fix might be to connect the earphones two seconds after the call starts (doesn't work for me though)

Hello guys,
I own an HTC One , SFR Branded (french carrier) and I'm trouble activating beats audio, I've tried everything, plugging headphones, unplugging them, using the stock audio player, the google one and so on, and the beats audio option is gray and unclickable, does anyone has this issue, and does anyone have a solution?
Also on another note, I have a gap on my top speaker grill I coudn't find the main thread about this issues (found a couple that talk about it but they all refere to a thread that i cannot seem to find) so if anyone can point me out to that it would be nice
Thanks in advance

I got a message to upgrade my phone so I did. Now I've noticed that I have beat audio as on of my selections, but it's grayed out and I can't enable it. Like many of the other people on here. I can't click on it, so now what? How do I activate it so I can get it to work?

The beat audio only works when you plug in a earphones to listen to your music. I just did that and mines work great. Music sounds awesome.
I have a minor issue with my xperia Z and car bluetooth. If the bluetooth is on before i start the car, it pairs perfectly within seconds. But if my xperia z's bluetooth is off when i switch on the car and then enable the bluetooth it doesnt pair automatically. Either i have to pait it again manually or restart the car.
Has anyone seen this before? I'm on 4.3 - not sure whether this was the case with 4.1 or 4.2
Same car used to pair my old samsung s3 as soon as i turn the bluetooth on in my s3.
I have a similar problem with mine, i have the rooted c&j rom on mine and a sony mex bt5000 car stereo, it pairs instantly for phone audio, but half the time doesn't pair for media audio, stereo says pair with 'unknown' if i say yes, nothing happens, if i say no, it requests 1 or 2 more times, and still nothing, the only way i can get it to do it is to pull down the notification bar and select throw from quick settings and select xplod from there, then it connects, then disconnects, then reconnects again! I also have smart connect set up to adjust the volumes and screen brightness when it connects, which again, half the time it doesnt work! I dont know wether its a problem with the C&J rom, the root or with smart connect, I was previously on rooted 4.2 fw and everthing worked perfectly. On a similar subject, I'm also having trouble throwing music to a sony sa-ns410 network speaker, it just hangs and fooks up! annoyingly, my old xperia s throws music to the speaker perfectly. I'm going to try flashing a stock uk unrooted fw to the phone to see if this helps, which is going to annoy me if it does, because i like having root and my lcd density set at 320 which makes the phone look a million times better!
I had the same issue on mine with 4.3 I tried about 3 ROMs with the same Bluetooth issue, went back to 4.2 and not a problem, I've messaged Sony and been ignored .

I've always used a deodexed 4.3 ROM, that might be the problem

I'm not rooted and using the stock rom from my carrier. So it looks like the problem is with the sony 4.3 rom itself if you guys haven't experienced this with 4.2 or 4.1
I'm having an issue where when I plug in my OPO to the AVH-4100 either Android Auto will immediately freeze, head unit will say it can't connect to Android Auto and try again when safe or the head unit will display disconnecting USB2 to protect device. I'm not sure what's happening, it wasn't doing this before. I did replace the stock USB cable with a different one but it worked the first time I used it.
I'm having the same problem with my OPO, in my 2015 Kia Soul. Anyone know the answer?
The Bluetooth works with mine when I pair my phone with my auto's system. I can use maps, waze, I heart radio, Pandora, etc and it all works with my speakers.

No screen though.
I just got my S7 edge and of course got my free Gear VR. I did some reading and saw that the Moga Hero BT controller worked well. Well, I am a newbie, and of course, can't get it to pair using the App from the Play store. I can get it to pair throught BT settings on my phone, but it doesn't work. I am pairing it in the "A" setting. The Gear VR says it recognizes it, but again, it does not work when using the Gear VR.
Anyone else experiencing this? Can anyone help walking me through how to connect the Moga Hero so it works?
Much Thanks in advance!!
dont use the app. just turn on ths phonesphones bluetooth put the controller into pairing mode and let the phone do its thing

I'm wondering if anyone else is having issues with this... Factory Unlocked version on OTA Oreo that got pushed out over the weekend. I was able to change the Bluetooth AVRCP to 1.6 but any other developer Bluetooth settings I change will go back to default if I go back into developer settings.
same here.

For me it auto selects the compatible codec depending on source. I guess it switches back between two connections.
Check to see if changes the used codec when connected to your headphones.
Cheers~
Are these settings what's keeping my connected devices from launching My Music app like Pandora when I get in my truck my stereo supposed to launch Pandora and I'm also supposed to be able to control it from the head unit which I'm not able to do since the update

Having the same issue. My car's Sony headunit has been having connectivity issues since the Oreo update. (3 months or ago or something like that). I finally figured out the cause is the codec, the phone changes to AAC when the stereo is used to seeing SBC. I can switch it to SBC but as soon as the stereo tries to connect it goes to AAC. After connected I switch it to SBC and for the first time in 3 months I can listen to music in the car again without it disconnecting every 5 mins. The problem is it is a bit ridiculous to have to switch a setting back every single time I get into my car.
Then I just discovered that no matter what change I make to the bluetooth developer options they immediately revert back to what they were upon leaving the menu. No one has found a fix for this issue yet?
