HTC Tattoo cover! Tattoo My Htc

So there must be more then me on XDA that has orded a custum or original Tattoo cover from "Tatto my htc" http://subcostume.tattoomyhtc.com/
Fun if you want to share with picture or "links" with the one you orded.
I got my first one 1.5 month ago... The cover its original HTC but the "picture" on it is not, but the picture was a bit worng, But it was my fault...

this is one of the main reasons I bought the tattoo
waiting for mine, then i have a B&W pic of my wife to put on the back
what do you think the most sophisticated colour is, white, light grey very dark grey, dark brown or black ?

Also orded today a new cover. Want to have a clean white one....

White is nice. I used to have a magic and it looked great in a white leather cover.
I'll probably get a few covers, the lightest grey above white and the darkest grey

Custom made all in ph cs4 and then uploaded it

I got my custom designed shell a couple of weeks back. It seems its very prone to little scratches and the quality didnt seem high end either. I think I will get a new shell sometime and treat it with some boat finish paint or similar.

hard to say at the moment because i ordered the white one yesterday. i will tell you as soon as it arrives.
but my first design (with the android-logo) is glossy so i expect that the white one will be glossy too.

After reading the previous I had a go at a white version. (you can probably tell I was a fan of the magic!)

Just placed my order yesterday for a cover similar to will_c55's design(I'm a Magic fan too). But I was in a bit of a hurry to do it, so instead of adding 'with Google', I added 'BY Google'.

A bit of touch-up paint and some rewriting should do the trick...

I don't think anyone here will notice it. The full-white body will catch everyone's eyes!

OK. So I JUST got my cover. I'm not really satisfied with it. First of all, it has a matte finish, which is good. No fingerprints, and you can get a good grip with this surface. The engraved 3D squares look quite nice too.
BUT, the thinkness of the plastic is a little more than the stock cover. It's like they took the stock cover and pasted a layer over it. So the cover is not in the same level as the screen and the buttons. The call answer and end buttons are pretty much in the same level as the cover itself. Also, then finishing is not perfect. There's some imperfections like small "bumps" on the surface and uneven edges. It doesn't seem like a professional finish, despite Garskin being the "official" supplier of Tattoo covers.
I'd rate it 6.5\10

Note 2 case colors?

there is a company that I have reviewed cases for called DBA Cases they are making a case for the note 2 and would like the community here at XDA to help them in picking the colors. The case is a two part case with the first layer of TPU and the second layer is poly-carbonate.
just leave a comment here on what colors you would like to see.
DBA Cases make the Ultra for the Galaxy S3 and that is what the case will look like for the Note 2 here are some photos.

Roger did an excellent review which showed in great detail how the cases work. In fact it was so good we put the video review under each product.

I can't link to my site but we have a section with all of the color combo's.
Here is the thing - the S3 is Blue and White. The N2 is Titanium and White. So that really changes things up. The most popular color for the S3 is the Blue PC, then of course White.
I'm going to see if my paint factory can make a PC that is close to Titanium in color. I am much more limited for the TPU - you really can only make it look a real color.
Any and all suggestions are welcome - I'll use this to choose the color combo's. I'll pick 5 PC and 5 or 6 TPU.
So it's a no brainer for two of the PC to be white and black. Same with the TPU.

Green TPU has been a favorite. Beige never looks good. Transparent doesn't look as good as you would think.
Tron Blue TPU is something we already have for the S3.
In fact Tron Blue TPU and Black PC has sold decently.

Well for my white note 2 I am def getting white pc and then would like to see gray, red, orange or yellow tpu

Those are all good suggestions. We have an excellent red TPU and grey TPU. I don't know about yellow.

Got brave with some Sharpie's!

Well as the title says I got brave with some sharpies and added the one last thing I wish Google would have. Pics below. Idk if it will last or wear away or what but figured I'd chance it. So far seems to be holding the ink pretty well and nothing smears or anything since letting it dry a few minutes.

They each got their added bonuses I think. With the black one ya get the nice feel of that soft touch like the nexus 7, which helps with grip. The white one has a nice contrast look between the black n white, but it's white back is slick and I'm afraid I'll drop it without a case.

I'd give it a try on my N5, but I've never been good at coloring inside the lines. I'd end up with a rainbow backed Nexus.

Who else was expecting a previously white earpiece? :laugh:

I don't like white phones personally, but with just that little added color, it looks awesome. Google should have definitely done this. Great job and good idea.

I hate the white speaker. Always makes me think I have a notification and why is the notification light on the bottom of the phone? I always pick up my phone upside down since all the other phones have the notification light at the top. So weird. Maybe I'll sharpie the speaker...

That's exactly why I went through the headache of returning my white one and waiting 3 weeks for a black one to arrive. If I had to look at that white speaker one more day, I was going to hurl. LOVE the white back, but after I put a case on, all I had to was the nasty white speaker to look at. It also too drove me insane thinking it was the notification light.

I believe that the Nexus logo is created out of ceramic pieces and those markers are supposed to work on glass, so it should be fine.

Cruzerlite or Puregear ?

Hey guys, I'm getting a case for my white G2 D802 international version and I'm going to choose between the cruzerlite bugdroid case and the pure gear slim case. I want maximum protection from a slim case, so I guess those are the best for me. I'm worried that the slimgear will not provide as much protection as the cruzerlite though. Which one of these cases has better screen protection (lip) and which color would you choose - I'd get the white Puregear, but cruzerlite has many options - I'm choosing between the Teal color and maybe the white or clear color, but I'm afraid any white TPU case will get dirty and uncleanable.

I have the clear cruzerlite bugdroid one, it looks great on my white Sprint LG G2, and provides good protection for a case of its type. (If you really need good drop protection though, you need something like an Otterbox or the equivalent.)

I tried to take some with my point-and-shoot, but my point-and-shoot with its 7.5 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, got jealous of the LG G2's 13 megapixel OIS camera and died.
Actually, the camera's battery died as I tried to take a picture of the phone with its case face-down, which might have been more instructive as it's hard to see otherwise. It makes a good story though. The fact that the battery wasn't ready and I didn't bother to fix it does say how the LG G2 has replaced my point and shoot for quality photos...
Anyway, I'll try to post pictures of it, even though since it's clear it's hard to evaluate from front-on...

I'd choose teal or clear. The white one is known to have that problem according to others in this forum.

Yeah, even those. I've owned plenty of CL cases though, basically due to the awesome quality. I just never found their designs of them to be nice. Totally just my feeling though, I know a lot like em and can't blame em, they're great cases.

So any suggestions for a screen protector that plays good with the cruzerlite?

I have a Cruzerlite case on my Sprint G2 and feel it's a great value for the price. A couple of weeks ago my father-in-law accidentally knocked my phone from my hand while we were standing in a line. The phone fell forcefully about three feet to the concrete sidewalk. Fearing the worst, I picked up the phone and there wasn't a scratch on it!
I have a Zagg InvisibleShield on my phone, but it sometimes bubbles up along the edges with the Cruzerlite case. No big deal as I can press it back into place, but there may be better options out there.

The carbon fiber works great!
And fits under a spigen ultra hybrid too! It just takes some jimmying to keep the side pieces from being pushed off buy the case...

It is cut out, but out of the same piece, and the whole back is removed at once from the paper backing, with masking tape keeping the designs lined up.
...that doesn't seem impossible, but it will take some extra detail work to get it aligned properly, and more materials.

that could be interesting. i will definitely keep it in mind. I have a plain black carbon from another company right now and am getting bored with it. I might hit you up in a week or two.

I was thinking this cut-out would look cool. Not sure on what sort of texture it would look best though!?
I just googled around, can't post links annoyingly, but if you go to qvectors DOT net SLASH vendeta-mask-vector there is a vector example.
I am thinking of trying to get some splash screens, boot animations and backgrounds too, would go well on a completely stripped down ROM with XPrivacy and AFWall+ installed.

That would look cool. Unless you have a clear back case, I'd probably do it negative. The white parts would be in red, with a thin border around it for the outline. That way there wouldn't be lots of small pieces to get lifted off by routine handling..

Can you like make just like faces symbol? Like just iron man face or transformers face only.? It's cuz I like the silver/metallic.
