AOSP for the Zenfone 2
The Android Open Source Project is the original unmodified version of android. It's the base ROM that all other ROM's work on. There are a few changes from CAF (code aurora forums) and cyanogenmod to get this working for non-nexus devices like ours.

Instructions
Download the zip
install twrp if you already dont have it installed
Backup in twrp (or not if you live on the edge)
wipe data, system , cache and dalvik
Flash your zips!

Question tho, is there a possibility to have the Smart Cover functionality on AOSP? My phone would look dumb with smart cover and no smart cover functionality haha

haha no worries! I can always request a reserved post from mods and probably not on this ROM sorry. I want to keep this as close to AOSP as possible so I won't be adding any extra features.

I live in an alternate dimension where I have infinite hours in a day . Nah I just have one computer the idly sits on all day syncing/building stuff

We are working out the bugs. We just wanted to go ahead and post.
Important right now is Data/Service/WiFi so that is what we are working on.

Im drunk. I cant figure out how to donate. but this looks far more promising than any other attempt. I am so excited. I cant wait for all the bigs to get ironed out. I want MIUI almost as much as I want CM7....

I think what really differentiates these ROMs is the customization. If it's still just stock Touchwiz, I doubt we'd notice any difference.
But good job. Maybe when you have a custom theme or post some screenshots

So this is basically a faster version off stock KL1 or KMM? I really wonder if it is possible to do a stock Google 3.2 for this...touchwiz just messes it up.

Actually its not. Its modified alot more and has more features. And you can't find stock 3.2 that will have drivers for this tab.

i really only use the tab for development work (CM/systems, etc.) and it's currently the only device I support (I may pick up a TK-1 in the near future to add on).
don't really use tabs these days so much in leisure; just a phone primarily.

Wow, that a lot of work for a device that's not your daily driver. Again, it's greatly appreciated. You're CM11 load has been great.
The K1 looks pretty nice. Hopefully it'll make it to more devices. Of course, now we also have the X1 to look forward to.

It's all good. We're getting a whole new version of android that will probably never be officially released for this tablet. So it's either wait forever on nothing or wait a little longer for lollipop. I'll take the latter. Thanks again for all your work on this tab. It wouldn't be the same without CM.
Wish we could duplicate pershoot so he had more time....
I can't believe pershoot has been able to do so much for us already, especially if he isn't using the tf701t as a daily driver anymore. Thankyou!
I just wish we could duplicate him enough times that he wouldn't have anything else to do but update my tablet to lollipop - selfish lil'ole'me.
