I think nobody answers because the answer is all-over XDA.
Anyway I did a quick search for ya..
Check this out for debloating:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/wip-debloat-lp-690-correct-functioning-t3076161
But make sure to have a backup from recovery if phone won't boot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/z-xzdualrecovery-qa-t2477769
And just in case,, if anything goes wrong at all.. Make sure to download latest firmware with customisation of your region and install adb and fastboot drivers and flashtool so that you can flash ftf to recover a bricked phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746

Thanks for your reply.
I already have 2 other Z one with 4.3 and 4.4 already full customized. One with unlocked bootloader......
I already did a lot of modification on my two other phone like cidia substrate and xposed framework.... I tried lots of rom but with this new lollipop im little bit loast
I tried to install recovery like dual recovery and more but this time I really was lost...
In the Z section the only propose is downgrade install recovery and flash a firmware already rooted and recovery pre installed.
I try NUTZ RECOVERY.
I hope no brick I already flashed 6 or 7 time after brick.......
Thanks :good:

You mean, downgrade to kk, install recovery and flash rooted Lollipop zip with recovery? I wouldn't do that since a zip upgrade from KK to LP will mess up the device (internal sd etc)
Why don't you try eXistenZ rom? It has great customisation.
Btw, just curious, why you want to customise this Z if you have two others laying around fully customised (and unlocked?) lol

Bro it should work on locked bootloader, just follow the step by step installation instructions for a "fresh" install here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=61793750
There's a link to nut's recovery and it has to work.
If not, ur maybe missed an installation step in the nut thread or something but I'm quite sure it has to work for you.
Good luck mate!
Regards

This bloatware you can delete without a guilty conscience.

Some users have tried after root to open the bootloader though there was "no". It has nevertheless works.
Just try.

Thanks for this huge list Experience Z!
You don't know the way to install a recovery on Z locked BL for the new lollipop ?
Thanks

sure.
sorry for late answer
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62637341 said:
Sure you can install recovery on locked BL without pc:
(but only with root)
so...you should use "supersu" instead of Android own adminprogram......
if you have kingroot you should use it or you replace with supersu
if you type su, the terminal will ask you "Terminal tries to get root access"
1. Download https://dl.twrp.me/yuga/twrp-2.8.7.0-yuga.img.html
(i renamed twrp-2.8.7.0-yuga.img to twrp.img because short is good )
2. Copy file to external SDCard
3. Install Shell-App (Terminal) on Phone (f.e https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.acr.shellterminalemulator or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jackpal.androidterm)
4. open shell/terminal
5. Type "su" without ""
6. Type "dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel" without ""
internal:
dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel
dd if=/storage/sdcard0/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel
dd if=/mnt/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel
external:
dd if=/storage/sdcard1/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel
dd if=/ext_card/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel <- that's what i use
if it dosn't work (but should work) try following:
http://www.jmzsoftware.com/downloads/TWRPManager.apk (direct download) or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jmz.soft.twrpmanager (play store but same file)
or
http://dl.cdn.chip.de/downloads/112...434-bd44ef-B-80f5410908912da7c9de22a0ec003aed
or
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools
Good luck

[Unlocked Bootloader][4.3.1][ROM] CM10.2 With Xperia Z Media Apps [Jan16]

This is a tweaked versions of cm-10.2.0-yuga so all credit goes to the Cyanogenmod Team for the ROM.
If like me you unlocked the boot loader without backing up TA partition (DRM Keys) you will notice that some key features are not working with the default firmware like Miracast. This ROM gets back many of the features you would of lost when unlocking the boot loader.
Changes Made:
Added Motorola Launcher with Circle Widget and KitKat 4.4 Launcher.
Replaced stock gallery with Sony Z Album and Movie app (Facebook & Twitter integration working.)
Added Sony Z Walkman app with UPNP/DLNA Media Server.
Added Kitkat Camera
Modified Adobe Flash 11.1 with Hulu support.
Facebook contact sync working.
KitKat Apps. Google Now, Hangouts with integrated SMS, Calendar, Keep ect.
Forced all rendering to be done on the GPU. Should help with gaming and make things more smoother.
GoogleEars.
Kick Ass Kernelizer
Auto-zipalign and defragdb on boot
Auto Calibration on boot. Only does a few programs each boot. So may take a few reboots to calibrate all of them.
Plus many improvements taken from this thread + many others.
I also added some terminal commands.
Run each command with SU first then the command.
fixfc - Fix apps force closing.
sclean - Clean the dalvik cache and cache partition
Know bugs
Not a bug as such but something you should be aware of. It does take a few reboots to optimise all the apps.
Any more issues please report them.

So these apps just work without having to need the framwork files? Or the other apps like the SemcDlna.apk, SocialEngineFacebookShareFrwkPlugin.apk, SocialEngineFlickrPlugin.apk, plus the many others to get the media apps working on a none stock Rom.

thank you to all xda developers (...peter-k)

Hi Mate,
how are you ? ...
I finally found a stable solution for my V even if I do not finish to seek better solutions....
My device is rooted, I found XTdualrecovery working good with fully functionally nandroid backup features.
I was able to restore Bravia Engine 2 and music info too.
I trick over it by xposed framework modules customizations ,furthermore I enjoyed to change various bootanimation.zip !!!
I 've installed last sony app like album and movies downloaded from xda forum and changed default Google Chrome with root AOSP Browser.
However I loose OTA updates , not bad , I already found the solution to this problem as well.... at least I think so :
1) create a CWM flashable zip file from FTF Firmware .199
2) flash sony stock ROM .142 or .145 and root device (doomlord method)
3) skip the android configuration wizard and reboot
3) install recovery wipe and flash the update .199 firmware previously created
4) enjoy OTA updates
....is that correct ?
All of my progress is due mainly to you !!!
best regards

Notes & Info
I don't want to modify the SysUI on this, due to pretty frequent updates from ASUS.
To change home screen Grid size:
Long Press on a blank space > Preferences > Home Screen > Grid Size
To remove "Do not disturb" notification:
Go to 'Settings' > 'Do not disturb' > (Very Bottom) 'Notification' > Off
To remove "Battery Ready" notification:
Go to 'Settings' > 'Battery' > Menu > 'Set Battery charging ready reminder' > Never (or whatever percent you want)
*Data removal flashable zip in second post. This can be used if you want to come from stock to this ROM. Flash full ROM first, then flash data removal. This will remove the updated Asus apps from the stock build, but will not wipe the rest of your data partition.
*This will not delete data or user installed apps. This will wipe /system so as to remove all the bloat, even if coming from stock doing an upgrade.

**Special Note: As always, please be sure to ask if you'd like to use any part of our changes. This is a custom ROM, not a base for you to build on. We have put a lot of time into making this work right (as the first custom ROM for the ZF2). Please don't just use this as your own without being the one to do the work.
**Graphics, Themes, etc: If you'd like to use any of the images, themes, splash screens, etc, please talk to @thoughtlesskyle. He's the graphic magician.

Remove Asus apps from Data:
Note: This is if you are coming from stock and have updated your apps.
If you clean flash (wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik) then you do not need this. This is if you're coming from stock and don't want to wipe everything out (keep your apps that you downloaded, etc). I still suggest a full, clean wipe.
Upon updating from the Play Store, the Asus apps are in /data/app, so just flashing SuperZen does not get rid of them.
This flashable zip will remove the same Asus apps from /data/app that are removed in the main ROM. This will not remove anything from system. It only cleans the data portion. *This does not remove Kindle, since people might actually use that.

Nice, I'm gonna flash this now. Thanks for your work.
what's the ram usage like? when i boot i have just under 1 gig, and after some usage it drops to 300mb roughly, on stock.

Should be less than stock. I removed ~50 apps from the phone.
Didn't add in anything that would eat up RAM or space.
It's a pity i took all that stuff off already but looking forward to the updates
Nice work mate

Going to be a constant work in progress.
Please let me know if I missed anything that you personally removed. I'm still going to be tweaking it for quite a while. :highfive:

Definitely be giving this a try especially when the updates start to roll out
Do you think it's safe to remove update system app from system
I doubt very much I'd be using ota updates anyway

You.. Are... The.... Man
Amazing job man! Thank you very much!
I know this is for the 551, but still tested on my 550 and it did not work even tried to replace the boot.img from the backup I made before, but still not booting =( oh well, had to try restoring the full backup now...
Keep up the great work and if possible to the same for a 550 ROM
Thanks all
Awesome! Thank you!
I wonder if battery life and performance will increase? Flashing tonight.
Just took out system update from system apps
Then tried checking for update seems to check but doesn't come back with anything so all good so far

I'll download the full 550 ROM and see if I can get it working. Shouldn't be much different at all. I don't have a 550 to test with, but the scripts should all be the same, so that shouldn't be an issue.
I'll let you know when I have something worth testing. :good:
That would be awesome, let me know and I'll test it ASAP.
Thank you =)
small doubt,u removed fmservice..but dont the fm need that?? if needed then please add a flashable of it as addon ...
Updated to the most recent OTA, got rooted, got my bootloader unlocked, and got TWRP installed. Getting ready to put this on next. Exciting that there is custom development for ZenFone2 Now!
please dont remove FM radio. many ppl still listen to radio in other countries.

LineageOS 14.1 Nougat Debloat Script [06/22/17]

I have no need for the standard apps that come with LineageOS (formerly CM), because these apps are replaced by Gapps anyways. So I created a script that you can flash immediatelly after flashing a new ROM in order to have a clean install and remove these apps from the system.
Credits @Gawd for the inspiration.
What will be removed?
The script as is, will remove the following CM/LineageOS apps:
Calendar
CMFileManager
DeskClock
Eleven (Music)
Email
Calculator
Exchange
Gello (CM browser)
Screencast
AudioFX
Contacts
AS OF 01.March 17 - Android Browser
AS OF 01.March 17 - Substratum
AS OF 25.March 17 - Masquerade App
AS OF 25.March 17 - Pico TTS
AS OF 22.June 17 - Documents
AS OF 22.June 17 - Messaging
AS OF 22.June 17 - Phone
AS OF 22.June 17 - Daydream
AS OF 22.June 17 - Jelly
AS OF 22.June 17 - Snap Camera
AS OF 22.June 17 - Gallery2
AS OF 22.June 17 - LivePhotos
AS OF 22.June 17 - WallpaperTable
How to apply?
It's best to stick to a certain installation order to make sure to avoid conflicts.
My suggested way of installing a ROM is like that:
Deep wipe
Install ROM
Install alternative kernel if you wish
Run debloat script
Install Gapps
Reboot
What else?
This script will survive dirty flashes as well as ota updates. So there's no apparent need to flash it again after that. Clean flashes will ofcourse need it to be flashed again.
I would like to remove more / less apps...
No problem. Just follow these instructions:
OK now, we are good to go:
1. Download and install Notepad++
2. Download the attached .zip file and extract it. Go to META-INF → com → google → android.
Now you will see a filed named updater-script. This it the file that will do all the magic, so be careful. Now: right click on it and open it with Notepad++.
3. Now on Notepad++
a) Select Encoding → Encode in ANSI
b) Select Edit → EOL Conversion → UNIX/OSX Format (not necessary in all cases)
4. Go ahead an add or remove apps as you wish.
Code:
delete_recursive(
"/system/app/Calendar",
"/system/app/CMFileManager",
"/system/app/DeskClock",
"/system/priv-app/Eleven", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]Changed to priv-app as of 15.08.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/app/Email",
"/system/app/ExactCalculator",
"/system/app/Exchange2",
"/system/app/Gello",
"/system/app/Substratum", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 01.03.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/app/Browser", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 01.03.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/priv-app/masquerade",>>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 25.03.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/priv-app/Recoder", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 31.01.2017 - replaces Screencast App[/COLOR]
"/system/priv-app/AudioFX",
"/system/priv-app/Contacts",
"/system/tts", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 25.03.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/lib/libttspico.so", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 25.03.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/app/PicoTts", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 25.03.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/priv-app/DocumentsUI", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 22.06.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/app/messaging", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 22.06.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/app/BasicDreams", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 22.06.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/priv-app/Dialer", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 22.06.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/priv-app/Gallery2", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 22.06.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/app/PhotoTable", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 22.06.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/app/LiveWallpapersPicker", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 22.06.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/app/Jelly", >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 22.06.2017 [/COLOR]
"/system/priv-app/Snap" >>>> [COLOR="Red"]New as of 22.06.2017 [/COLOR]
);
5. Now save the updater-script and exit from Notepad++.
6. The next thing to do is create the flashable zip.
a) Make sure that the updater-scipt is in META-INF → com → google → android
b) Make sure the folder "system" in the root directory is empty.
c) Select both META-INF and system folder and right click on them.
d) Select Add to archive.
e) Archive format: ZIP
f) Compression method Store
---> The Archive format and the Compression method are very important, so make sure they are ZIP and STORE.
g) Now copy the zip file you created in your phone and flash it!
That's it.

I've used adb but only to unlock the bootloader of my phone other than that I'm not really sure what command or how to go about it.
Thank you very much for this script, it's a shame it's needed.
Thanks a lot for this, exactly what I was looking for.
I added
"/system/priv-app/Gallery2", (Glaery3D app, can use Google photos or one of the other million, regularly updated app available from the Play Store)
"/system/app/messaging", (AOSP messaging app, as above but Google messaging)
To mine and I thinks that's all the bloat gone.
Why didn't i see this before? Every clean flash for every build update on my LineageOS 13.0, i always delete the bloatware apps manually and i know it is a pain in the ass. Even if your running LineageOS 13.0, you can still use this. I've add/remove some apps for my personal taste. Very much thanks for this script!
Exactly what I was looking for! I edited the script with "Quickedit" (playstore) then bosh! Flashed it - AospExt - Tata bloat. Cheers!
@lieferant, I am (almost) completely speechless!
I noticed a recommendation and a link to this thread within another thread that I follow from @githyanki to another and had to check it out.
I've got to admit that this is a really great idea and, out of pure curiosity (and by nature... LOL!), am forced to test this out.
I am amazed that, though chatted about, nobody i can think of has ever taken this idea from concept to release.
What a great idea indeed and will report my results here for you to take note.
Thank you very much lieferant!

Thank! Works like a charm! Reinstalled LineageOS today and i used the script after installation of gapps.
Awesome!
Awesome script, thank you for your work.
Noticed that 2 LOS Stock apps did not get removed.
1) Camera App
2) The eleven music app
This is for the latest LineageOS at the time of this post on the OnePlus2.
Thanks again
Update 1:
After going through your initial post I made some additions to the script to get what I need
I used this post to flash OnePlus Camera and OnePlus Gallery

"/system/media/audio/ui/camera_focus.ogg", <--Removes other camera sound
"/system/media/audio/ui/VideoRecord.ogg", <--Removes video recording sound

Easy debloat script for Oreo Stock ROMs

I haven't seen anyone post any easy debloat script, so here is my personal one for N8. This is made for OREO - but it will work for Nougat-based ROMs too, as long as the file names haven't been changed. This could also work well for S8, S9 and other samsung-phones, as the file names are usually the same.
Oh, it also removes "liboemcrypto.so" from system/lib - so you wont have any problem using Netflix.
Install instructions:
Install your preferred ROM.
Boot up your phone for the first time. This might not be necessary, but I did experience some problems with SystemUI crashing when I didn't boot up the phone between flashing.
Reboot into revovery and flash .zip
All done! No need to wipe dalvik/cache, but do as you wish

This script is provided "as is", and I will not be updating it, unless:
You find some bug caused by removal of a specific app
A new samsung base contains new apps or upated app names
There are more apps that can be safely removed, not causing SystemUI or other crashes
You can easilly modify the script to your own liking:
Open the zip-file in WinRAR or any other archiver
Browse to updater-script
Open updater-script in Notepad++ (do NOT use microsoft notepad or wordpad!)
Edit the lines to your liking
Save the file, and confirm that you want to update the zip archive.
Which apps are NOT removed?
Calendar
Camera
Chrome
Clock
Galaxy Apps (app store)
Gallery
Google
Contacts
Messages
Phone
Play store
Samsung Notes
Thanks! Will try this tonight.
As yoy have removed many apps, could you or anyone create scripts also for sabs?
Many haven't root and use jt for debloating.

Sorry, I have personally never used or looked into SABS, and never felt the need to do so. Simply deleting apps with root access (as I alwats root my devices) has always been my way of debloating. I will not be making scripts for SABS now - maybe in the future if I descide to not root a future phone..
Great list. I have the same script for my note8. I create it before 5 months for personal usage. You dont have remove the problematic apps who make phone stuck. Looks good and safe. I try yours too to see how is going.
PS: The script works but before works he drop dead my phone with black screen and nonthing works. I know all the button combination and how to open the dead note 8 phones. But If someone dont know the button combination can loose his phone for ever. Only 1 compination works he need to press volume down and power on for 15 seconds and the phone will open again. Looks dangerous i dont recommend it for the users. Better to close the thread and before post test the scripts. S8, S9 have big difference in the codes.

Looks dangerous i dont recommend it for the users. Better to close the thread and before post test the scripts. S8, S9 have big difference in the codes.

The script itself has nothing to do with your phone hanging in black screen, this is just something that happens with custom roms sometimes. It happens more often if you have custom kernels or exposed installed.
The vol- / power button combination is a hard restart function implemented by Samsung to force restarts of the phone when needed, as in your case. It is perfectly safe to reboot he phone this way, the phone vill never be damaged by it. If you don't, the phone will eventually shut off when the battery is emptied, and you can boot again upon charging, nothing worse can never happen.
Wish there was something like this but for stock with package disabler.
I have flashed this on 2 different rooms and it's worked perfectly everytime,
Thanks for your time and effort to put this together for us all to use. :good:

It's explained in the OP.. However I would not recommend removing other apps (except for maybe calendar, galaxy apps and samsung notes), as it would cause SystemUI crashes. Google and Chrome for instance are needed by various system settings.

Root is not required, but custom recovery (TWRP) is. No OTA as updater-apps are removed.

You can try, if things should get messy with force closes or other bugs, just reflash your rom (dirty flash) and you're back on track
Thanks for this efex - worked well so far on my n950f duos. Haven't had any issues with force closes or anything yet.
Works perfect on a3 2017 oreo (sm-a320FL)
Edit: i found one bug i can't change clock style in lokscreen
