Take a note during a call - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a way to take a call during a call? Which app or how? Please I used to have this feature with my note 4 that allows taking a note during a call. Those notes should be linked to the contact.

Ask the caller to SMS you what you want to take in the note, simples!

I use Google Keep for all of my note taking. Works great syncing notes across all my devices and very simple and clean interface. I have no idea of you can link contacts to notes though, never tried.

I just discovered floatnote app which is free from Google store and its giving me what I am looking for. I also found call note pro but its not working with Android M.

[KERNEL][TESTING] Need Testers

So I have a 4.3 JSS kernel that I'm working on and I think is pretty good so far and I want some testers to make sure I get everything right
If you want to test for me just get me your email and use Google Hangouts because that's how we'll be communicating.
Thanks for your time.

Hopefully this will be one of many changes to the look and feel of Android.
I mean the whole "light colors thin fonts" thing. I really like it. The Android look and feel doesn't match up with the rest of Google Services like Now and Gmail. Maybe KLP will fix that while making our devices more independent.

MMS compression gone in 4.3!

So I went and sent a couple pictures today to my wife and noticed that there's no longer a mandatory compression the MMS you send. Anyone else seeing this? It really took Sprint this long to lift that?

Haha, I use Snapchat for that.
I was getting stuff for my daughter's birthday party next weekend and was sending her pictures of stuff I was getting. I noticed it was taking forever to send, then I realized it was because they weren't compressed anymore.
Finally!

I don't MMS often but recently found out SMS Pro slapped like a 2mb limit when I tried sending something. REALLY hating that app, they keep getting rid of things to force people to pay for these 'extras'.
What SMSMMS app do you guys user? I guess I can use the stock app for larger files but it only does pic/video, plus I'd rather use one app rather than switch between 2.

I used to use Handcent but got rid of it for some reason. Did they get rid of SMS backup/restore, or it did SMS but not MMS?

We don't really know what it will function like in Hera yet, so there's no way to answer that question. It's not even entirely clear how Hera will work yet.

Please, provide a link. The article in the OP is not Project Hera, it's just the availability of using voice controls/Google Search in more apps. That's not what Hera is.
I like Google now but I don't like there theory on the home button. Just seems like a pain. They think you would have to hit the recents and then slide over. Why add an additional step?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app
It's funny how Google is trying to push voice commands and google now in every f-ing thing, and yet they only support English. I would look like an idiot walking down the street in my country and talking in English, to my phone!
Until that issue is sorted out, there's no sense in integrating voice commands everywhere. That includes a potential smartwatch (android wear).

No there isn't. Hera hasn't been shown on video. What is being talked about in this thread is not project "Hera". It is the advancement of Google Now inside of applications and an included update to the softkeys to support it.
