Same here.Had to flash another Rom.
@scritch007 Nice work mate, hope you can keep the updates.
btw, the bootanimation issue should be a incorrect resizing, thus it shows weird.
I flashed a 720p animation from other ROM and works nicely.

cm is merging the features in 4.4 so this wont have all the features of 4.3 till then. Also we need to wait for pa, aokp for more features. op is trying hard by himself to merge some more features like network speed indicator etc.

this isn't based off a particular dated build, as the commits kind of roll in.
but essentially you're correct.
slimroms is hacking away at the features list, slowly but surely.
so this rom will stay with those commits definitely.

I think both of those features were in slimbean.
so they may be merging them in eventually.
if that's not true, then if you could point me towards a rom ((repo)) that has it integrated, that would be awesome.

It doesn't. You can't type a business name into the dialer and have it pull results from maps. The AOSP dialer only searches what's in contacts. The n5 dialer will use maps to find the business and show it in the dialer as a result as if it were in your contacts.

Doesn't seem like the bluetooth is working. I'll keep testing and see if something else isn't working.
Oh, I was running OC at 1708MHz. I'm trying out 1804MHz now. At 1881MHz it freezes my phone

The one that had "(Recommended)" next to it.
I guess going to 1804MHz doesn't freeze at first, but once I put it to heavy use it freezes.
The I/O scheduler only can set to ROW. I cant set it to anything else.
The only problems I noticed so far are the bluetooth, I/O scheduler, and the video camera that came with the KitKat launcher ( I was kinda expecting that), but the stock camera app works fine.
Very fast and snappy rom. I will probably probably use it day to day till a more stable 4.4 comes out.
Good job dude!
WiFi is broken for me, did all the wipes. Thanks

Nice to have ya back
I get a slight problem sometimes after I flash a different ROM then go back to this one, it won't boot up. Not sure if its from the previous ROM (its just been the 4.4 rom ive been switching back n fourth with), or another matter.
I get it to boot up again after retrying a few times, but not sure what the problem is. Maybe the installation option.

I believe what's causing all the problems is the permissions. Beta will be a major improvement over prebeta, as in my free time when all I had was just my phone I was doing some heavily studying up on aroma. Not good giving an ETA but CE Project 2 beta will be released along side AOIP CE BETA. So it will be a dual release. Note CE Project 2 is NOT project ION. If it was then I would've referred it as that and not CE Project 2.

I want to add my verbal support for this project as well. I think AOIP 8/10/2013 is currently the best ROM that I have encountered for this phone thus far. The AOIP 2.0 builds had nicer features, but they weren't as stable as the 8/10/2013. An improved version of AOIP 8/10/2013 would be awesome and that sounds like what you are attempting to do. So, thanks!
AOIP CE is just hold people over for now and give a users a feel of what's to come. CE 2 is ROM independent but will also be required later on for project ion features. Once betas start rolling out it may move over to the dev thread but since is prebeta its here for the time being. Ya the 8/10 aoip is the best which is why I used that.

Im good. just slow after a dog bite on my arm. can only type one handed at the moment but still progressing. A release is still coming. AOIP CE is on hold. CE Project 2 is what im working on now as its universal and will work for your rom and it seems most have already moved on from AOIP and this phone. So depending on how the new year goes i may or may not release beta of AOIP CE and just focus on CE Project 2 and ION Project. Im hoping to have CE2 beta ready by the 1st and so far it looks like I'm right on schedule. Testing everything as I go so it won;t be nearly as bad of a release as CE1 prebeta. BTW how are you doing with getting ION running. Obviously things will be broken.

Is anyone using this ROM. Its really quiet here. I've been using this ROM for a few days. Yesterday I left angry birds open and put my phone in my pocket. When I took it out 40 min. later and it was so hot I could hardly hold it. Is this caused from the kernal or something else? Please let me know if there's any thing I can do to stop this.

I'm the new gummy maintainer for m7spr, so it is 'official' but the build is done on my personal box and not in jenkens yet and due to that it's "unofficial". I'm still testing and tweaking before I submit all the patches for our device, once i'm done it'll be in the jenkens build system and I believe it'll have automatic nightlies/weeklys.
And yes it's 4.4.2.
This is a port of the awesome mokee os ROM I put together for myself and figured I'd share since the mokee os team has yet to release for the vzw g2
The main thread for the team on the g2 forum is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2624235. check it out for more info on the ROM. Specifically, this is a port of the d800 version where I changed some things around just to get it to flash. The real heavy lifting is done by dr87's awesome vs980 patch from the also awesome mahdi ROM thread. So go thank him, savoca, (for furnace kernel) and ryuinferno (the mokee g2 maintainer) for all their work for our community. Also I'm no dev so I obviously can't provide support or what not, and don't crowd up the devs threads with support questions as they don't support our phone. so basically this is provided as is. Also if anyone wants a different ROM ported to the vs980 just pm me and I'll give it a shot. Anyways on to the deets.
Install instructions:
wipe everything. system, cache, dalvik and data 3x
Flash ROM.
Flash gapps (optional)
Flash vs980 patch
Flash vs980 kernel (I used furnace kernel. Also idk if this is necessary but I did it just to be safe.)edit: it is required for odex builds
Profit.
Bugs: for now it says d800, I may fix it next time but it doesn't hurt nothing. (fixed i think someone wanna confirm?)
Do not use the in ROM ota update.
It says tcdma 64
If you have rotation issues download the fix from my drive then boot to recovery and flash the fix then reflash your kernel of choice (credit tangjun269)

All I did is to take a d802 build, unzip it, change out the boot IMG to your model, edit the updater script and build prop to include your model number then rezip so it'll flash correctly, then download your device specific patch from one of dr87's ROM threads, then flash the ROM, gapps, the patch, then your kernel of choice. The patch that dr87 made is really just a script that injects all the variant specific stuff into the ROM so u can fairly easily just include it yourself but the script works well so I didn't bother.
Landscape Hell
I installed this last night and I was really liking it BUT every app/new window I opened was in landscape mode .... the home screen was the only thing that remained in proper portrait mode ... even the MK set-upo screen is in landscape ... I could not find a way to stop this annoying feature so I bailed on it .... if the screen orientation would just behave properly, I would be much happier to try it as a DD but constant landscape mode sucks BIG TIME .... any one, any one ???

ColorOS 2.0 for G2 by WS008
Based on CM10.1 (4.2.2) and ColorOS Patchrom
Please take note that although this ROM is based on CM10.1, it is not merely a modification to the CyanogenMod. It uses a similar method to MIUI in building the ROM. You will get a ColorOS experience instead of a CM one by flashing it.
About ColorOS
ColorOS is a firmware based on Android with intensive modifications. It was created by Oppo and originally ran only on Oppo devices such as the Oppo Find 7. In 2014, Oppo started its Patchrom Open Source Project and allowed the ROM to be ported to other Android devices.
The ROM is ported by the Chinese developer WS008. He ported CM10.1 to the G2 and then built this ROM based on it.
The development of this ROM has stopped.

FAQs
1. Why 4.2.2?
The ColorOS Patchrom currently only supports Android 4.2.2. The update can only made by Oppo. We will try to update to KitKat as quickly as we can once Oppo releases the KitKat update to the Patchrom.
2. How about D800/L22/L-01F/......?
We are working on porting to other variants (rolling out soon).
The ROM is in Chinese by default (Sorry, we cannot change it unless Oppo does something.) You may switch to English in Settings (设置).
If you like this ROM, please click the "Thanks" button. We will also appreciate a lot if you connect to the Internet at least once after flashing for statistical purposes.

Used a lot of Roms built by ws0008 on my LG GPRO.
Great Developer.
Thanks
looks great.. looking forward to this on D801
Why doesn't twrp work for these type of ROMs?
After flashing it boots to lg logo then sits at a black screen. I'm on vs980 24a flashed 11a baseband then ROM. Selected lgvs980 and nothing. Any ideas.

So is this the official deal from when when voted to make the rom ported or he decided to do it for fun? I guess my question is this is it or are we expecting the another rom from the site we voted from?
A little off topic. Anybody know witch kernel can we use for D801 so we can try it too?

It worked fine for me. You may try to wipe system before flashing. I will also be uploading another kernel for you to try it out.

The voting thing just serves as a reference for developers to decide which device they are to work on. No official
port will come out.

Thanks for the response. What I had to do was flash back to 11a, rooted and installed philz cwm. It finally booted. However it just won't connect to any data. Says Verizon wireless 4g on the status bar but when I went into setting to check network it shows roaming. When I went into setting/network to try to change to lte cdma it just force closes settings. Rotation also was not working. I tried flashing modified kk baseband and didn't boot. Afer that it killed all my SIM card connectivity. Had to flash back again with LG flash tool. Any ideas?

@op you know we have a kernel for d800 users. The only downside is that it's missing vibration and and apps FC when typing. Anyway you can look into that?
