(Official "Samsung" firmware)
- In terms of Battery life, the official Gingerbread (2.3.6) firmware is the best in my opinion...
- In terms of more features, performance enhancements and improvement, the official Jellybean (4.1.2) firmware is better
(ROMs based on Official "Samsung" firmware)
- JetMOD is the one and the only "best" ROM that is based on Gingerbread firmware for Gingerbread users..
- Sami OS, HarshJelly, LightJB, JellyMOD, etc. are the best custom ROMs for Jellybean users...
(Unofficial ROMs and Builds)
We've got CM (10, 10.1 and 10.2), PAC, MIUI (v4 and v5), Paranoid, Carbon, etc.. BUT they are all in Alpha stage (as far as I know, but they are still usable.. so expect a few bumps and hiccups.. for more info check their respective threads)
For more info, checkout this and this :good:
PS: Asking questions like "what's the best ROM, X or Y?" isn't allowed.. because they are all products of their developer's hardwork.. plus the answer varies from person to person

Presently what is the best stable Rom ( Cm 11/12.1/13) for Galaxy S Advance ?

Presently what is the best stable Rom ( Cm 11/12.1/13) for Galaxy S Advance ?
I have tried almost all the Roms. Presently I am on Cm 13 by Epirex. I am on the first build. Tried the second build, but changed it due to freezing of screen.
Please suggest so that I do not have to change Roms very often.
I'm currently using Modded CyanogenMod 11 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s-advance/general/rom-modded-cyanogenmod-11-t3387424) and it's very stable, give it a try.
I'm currently using Revolution ROM UX..based on stock jellybean..it fast LOL
I've tried almost every rom for S Advance.
If we are talking about cyanogenmod only, then "Modded CyanogenMod 11" is the most stable.
But the best rom I've tried is a stock based one, named "Leggera", nothing is more stable. You can find it here: http://www.androidiani.com/forum/mo...9070-jb-4-1-2-leggera-gargaros-s-advance.html (if you want I can help with translating the page)
This is my opinion.
As a previously user of S Advance aka janice, for me SamiOS + cocore kernel 8.2 was best (you can try mkaluza kernel too).
There are some other good roms too:
1) AOSP by JTeam
2) VanirAOSP by mkaluza
3) CM 10.2 . There's a build which some people claimed to be the most stable cm.
NOTE: I haven't tried any new rom since that time, because I didn't had to

Xperience rom vs Slimm rom? (or other stock roms)

which stock rom is better in your opinion?
xperience 10.0 or slimm 3.8 (or other versions or other stock rom)
thanks for any advice in advance
This is probably one of the best stock roms https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/development/z3c-existenz-marshmallow-v5-6-5-t3557752

Ditto above. I haven't tried Xperience, but I tried Slimm, which is a great rom, but you can't really beat eXistenZ.
For me the best is Experience rom. Great balance between performance and battery life.
All bloatware removed. Bug free and the closest rom to stock.
Tried all of them, but Xperience is the best (for me).
Very smooth, battery friendly
thanks very much for all your advices
