Doesn't always fix the problem...
I'll attach the vending.apk from my S5570 on 2.3.4... You might wanna try that!
And if that doesn't work... There might be another solution... Just follow these steps:
1. Download attachment, put it on the root of your SD-card. (Not in a folder, but on top!)
2. Power down your phone.
3. Enter recovery mode by holding Home+Power-buttons at the same time.
4. Use volume buttons to select apply update from SD-card.
5. Select the zip file, and pick it by pressing home button.
6. Select 'yes, apply update', confirm with home button. Wait for it to get done, reboot... and try if market works...
still not working
market has disappeared because of rooting
now when i browse the manage application
i still see market feedback agent
and market updater....
please help ...
extremely urgent now.
Try the above. And it's not the rooting...

Anyways, out of the point .. Why need a Market app
You can always download/install from market.android.com website, and it will auto-install it inside your Phone. Nowadays I'm following this method, as the Market v3.3.11 is laggy on Galaxy Mini !!
You know that this needs the market app? It won't work without it...

Hmm, didn't know about that.
Btw, how about finding the app's apk, and installing it manually ?
Yeah, for market app: not that simple...
For other apk's: that means a lot more work.... Kinda sux... Have a tablet without market...

Hmm, I didn't know Market app had these much importance. Anyways if I'm in a similar situation as the TS, I would think of re-flashing the firmware. Actually I'm least concerned about my installed apps.
Many apps provide back up features for apps

Yes, I know. Once I tried backing up Angry Bird's save progress, the save progress got backed up, but not the level scores. Lost all the scores achieved in levels.
Anyways I only uses limited apps, and some apps like Flixter Movies is not compatible with Mini, and it could never be found in the Market(app). So installing the apk manually would solve the problem
Why is this Guy freakin so much ????
Just flash the stock firmware and read all steps carefully .

Samsung s4 root question
AT&T just replaced my S4 because of a constant reboot problem. The phone was rooted I used Wondershare to backup the bad phone. My question I have this new S$ and would like to have it rooted and also restore my app backup from Wondershare which is on my laptop. Is there anyone out there that can assist and certainly I will pay, just want someone reputable. Any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated. Chuck
Hey, sorry, don't know how you can restore it! Although you might get a little more attention if you make a thread for this in the Q&A section. Hope that you get answers! Good luck with phone #2!

For some reason the second thread is missing, I cannot find it anywhere. If you're trying to root the i537, then use the first link. If you're trying to root the i9295 try using this method
Hey all
Newbie here looking for help. Firstly i have looked at the other forum posts and have been trying this for days and just cant seem to get it to work
Ok so the softwares.
HTC One SV
A OS: 4.2.2
HTC sense: 5.0
software: 3.11.61.10
Build: 3.11.60.10 CL274079 release-keys
Gear:
Model: SM-V700
Software: V700XXUBNC1
So the problem:
The gear will connect with Gear manager installed however it keeps kicking out and the HTC displays error about Connectionmanager has failed, As soon as that happens the phone is useless as stuck in that loop. Only a battery pull clears it.
Does anyone please know what Gear APK is compatable for successful install and any other extra steps i need to take. Both are running ORIGNINAL stock roms however the gear is in usb debug etc.
Thank you all for any and all help with this.
Cheers
GMD

Yes, there are a number of threads here on XDA about how to pair it and install the Gear Manager software on a non-Samsung phone.
Get the watch and start searching in order of the things you feel the need to do: pair new Gear to non-Samsung phone, root & install TWRP, install null ROM, install ATN Manager, install GG SMS, customize to your satisfaction.
Need help with getting Gear 2 Neo working with Gear Manager on cM13 on S5 . Before on custom stock rom no problems all working good . Now I can connect BT on phone and paired both but SGear Manager keeps saying no gear device after scan . Tried editing build.prop and changing all Samsung to HTC with no luck . Also manually installing Gear S plug in with Samsung Accessory Service app didn't work .
Really like CM13 and want to stay on it . I'm willing to pay someone honesty who can help me with this .
anyone ?
