Hello and good morning.
I am writing here, because I have a big problem. My Kindle Fire HD (first Generation) does not start any more. After an update (Cyanogenmod tate) I only get the yellow Kindle fire logo. And after few seconds the Kindle starts again. Then - after about five minutes - everything is dead. But if I do a reset I get the same situation. Unfortunately I get no connection to my device via the computer (tried Windows 7 64 bit and Ubuntu). With adb devices I cannot detect my Kindle. Is there a possibility to get into fastboot to install CWR etc.?
Help me, please
Herbert
So to clarify, the first time the logo comes up it freezes and then resets itself, followed after about 5 minutes the kindle just shuts itself off?? Also, you ask about getting into fastboot to install CWM. Do you not have a recovery installed? Such as CWM or TWRP?
I installed TWRP version 2.6
But I also cannot boot into the recovery (Power on & Vol +). Then nothing happens. I actually have ordered a fastboot-cable. Maybe I have success with this cable. Otherwise it is finished for me.
Yea try booting into recovery and flashing the system images to get back to stock. That's all i can think of since i'm not entirely sure what happened, either you got a bad download or your kindle just flipped out and essentially bricked itself.

So, I'm running software 6.3.1(stock), and I wanted to root. So, i followed a tutorial that said I should install TWRP recovery after I root. But, dummy me, tried to install TWRP recovery on a stock kindle fire. After a couple of minutes of installing, a console message appeared that said that the program told the kindle to boot in fastboot mode. Well, after 10 minutes, the Kindle was still not booted, so I disconnected it from my PC. And now, when I try to turn the Kindle back on, it just stops at the splash screen. I'm thinking that it's bricked, so can anyone help me get this fixed?
History:
1. I successfully rooted my Kindle Fire HD a month ago. Two days back when I tried to install Nova launcher, something got screwed up, and
it got stuck in the nova luncher loop, after a hard reset it got stuck at yellow kindle fire logo.
2. I tried to correct it via KindleFireFirstAide utility via option 3. Completely restore KFHD 7 7.2.3 <fastboot>
Everything was going fine until my internet got disconnected during the system.bin download.
Now it is stuck at Kindle fire system recovery, which comes after a kindle fire(yellow) then kindle fire(blue) logo.
Reboot your kindle
Reset to factory defaults, wont help and keep repeating after every boot up.
Moreover, neither windows nor ubuntu live detecting the kindle usb connection ( no ding sound, no device manger information)
I think the usb utility in kindle is gone.
How can I get the kindle working back again?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Is it stuck there or can you pick an option because I would save myself the grief and just reset it.
Fixed Via $2 factory cable
Good news,
I got a samsung chinese usb cable, done the factory cable tweak and connected it with kindle.
And TADA!!! got into fastmode, restored from backup via KindleFireFirstAide utility.
NOw its running the stock operating system.
ok so I am extremely new to this, I rooted my kindle and that worked fine. I then used fire flash to get twrp in is and it booted into the TWRP recovery mode with no problem. I didnt have any ROMS on it yet just wanted to make sure it would boot into TWRP. So I tried to reboot the kindle and it was stuck in bootloop. I plugged in my factory fastboot cable and put it in fast beet. It is detected in my device manager as an adb device. I used KF first aid to try to restore it and now I am getting a red triangle saying kindle fire system restore. neither of the 2 options work though. When it boots it is the normal kindle orange and then goes to the blue logo then it gives me the triangle. Is there anything I can do to fix it.
Um I would put it in fast boot and restore the system image, I haven't used kffirstaide before, but if that's the screen im thinking of its asking you to either do a reset or boot normally, and neither are working so something it probably wrong with the system partition. So look try look for something about doing a system image restore if u can in kffirstaid. That's best I can guess at for now.

Hi, I tried to put CM mod 10 on my kindle fire hd but flashed it incorrectly. At first I had the red screen of death but after purchasing a factory cable I was able to get out of that. I used KFHD_SRTv1.3.5 to fix it. Now I'm stuck on the yellow amazon fire boot logo. I see the logo for a couple of seconds and then it restarts.
I've tried numerous things including kindle fire first aide. I think this is my problem:
Under my device manager I see the Andriod ADB interface under Kindle Fire
however, when I try adb devices nothing comes up.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks

I was having this happen to me while trying to debug something the other day, try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it, or rebooting your PC. This usually happens for me if I reboot the kindle into recovery or out of recovery while leaving it plugged into my PC.

The story goes:
Last week I rooted my Kindle Fire. I used a YouTube tutorial and successfully achieved root. The YouTuber also recommended installing TWRP, so I thought heck, why not, and went ahead and did it.
That's where everything went wrong.
I decided to unroot my Kindle, which went fine, until I got to uninstalling TWRP. I heard the only way to get rid of it was to flash the stock ROM, so I did. When I flashed it, I got an error, and my Kindle just shut off. When I try to turn it back on, it will power up and show the screen with the Amazon logo on it and that's it. Tried again and again, and yet it stays on that Amazon screen and doesn't move.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
I am having the same issue. Updated kindle fire 6 hd 4th gen to 5.0, downgraded to 4.5.3. Installed king root, rooted device, installed flashify, flashed twrp, rebooted. Now I am stuck loading. If plugged into a computer loads to the amazon logo, shuts down, loads to the logo repeat.
I have tried to fast boot by correcting drivers in device manager for the mtp whatever and constantly spamming the fast boot string.
I have used adb to see if a device ever loads and it doesn't.
Windows makes teh sound that a new device is connected for about 15 seconds then will make the noise that a device has been disconnected as the fire reboots.
