So I have tried out the following 5.1.1 ROMs : Resurrection Remix, AOSP based & CM12.1 . The ROM flashes fine so do the Gapps. After booting, I sign in and complete the set up. When it starts downloading my apps, after some apps have been installed, the device goes into a bootloop. Anyone else facing this issue? Any solutions? I am using an Indian Moto X XT1052.
Not sure but I think it is related to updating Google Play Services after the boot.

I flashed official CM12.1 on my xt1068 with minimal Gapps but when I booted up and started to setup, the play store just started force closing and didn't even let me setup my WiFi and rebooted after 5 seconds.
And same thing happened with Blisspop ROM. And now I am stuck to stock ROM...
Even tried different Gapps(PA,bank,Pico) but had no success...
Please help... Looking forward to get a solution...
Thanks in advance....

Have you done a clean install?
If no, try clean install.
If yes, try getting off your sim card and then proceed with setup
Running a Moto X 2014, XT1093, with cm-13.0-20161122-NIGHTLY-victara, no custom kernel, with Xposed v87. Have SuperSU installed from Play Store, and ever since I tried updating the su binaries from stock, after upgrading from cm 12.1, I only get infinite boot until I reflash the rom, as that, I presume, overwrites the newly installed binaries. Is there a problem with the binaries? A compatibility issue with Marshmallow that I missed? Or is this some sort of unique issue?
So, I installed lastest RR Nougat on my GT-I8190 with pico gapps yesterday. Suddenly out of nowhere some apps started freezing, going black screen then closing without a crash message, in the chase of some games they do the whole thing in specific moments (after an specific load screen or specific menu option.) Already cleared cache and this thing is still happening. Please help

Every time I flash a ROM based on LP or MM, after completing my setup and installing all apps my phone just goes into a boot loop...?
I've tried RR, DU, Turbo, Bean stalk, Tesla, Lineage Os... But all ended in boot loop... Can anyone explain me why this is happening?:crying:
It is a bug in the gapps, a while ago I was able to use the MM roms using a gapps of 2017/04
But last week I tried to use some MM's Roms again, but after a few minutes on it with those same gapps that work, I did not go into bootloop, but rather I received FC from the home screen (regardless of the launcher) and it was impossible to use the appliance
Anyway, if you want to use some rom MM or LP, your only option will be to stock unfortunately

Just when I was going to try RR without gapps. Found this...
So after doing some weird stuff I managed to completely screw up my gapps package. The problem is that whenever I try to install a package from opengapps it always says that my android version is different.
For example - I am on stock EMUI 8.0 (tried a version installed by eRecovery WiFi, and one manual update using @Jannomag's guide) and after flashing opengapps for 8.0 I get an error that my android version is 7.1.2. I tried installing it on AOSP ROM as well (RROS and OMNIROM) and I get an error again - different version.
After installing AOSP ROM all google apps are crashing, phone app, camera app, google drive, gmail... etc. Weird thing is that if I'm on stock EMUI gapps seem to be working fine.
opengapps log only says that I'm trying to flash the wrong version.
Is there a way to trully install a completely fresh and clean version of EMUI? As I said I tried installing both eRecovery and manual upgrade but for some reason the gapps problem seem to persist no matter what. I can't stand using EMUI though, I need a way to get a clean version of EMUI so I can install an AOSP ROM and have a functional gapps package.
My model is VTR-L29C432.
