I found out many people are facing this on multiple threads
So i decided to create one separately.
I have a new SM-G925F running 5.0.2 SG6E
Once you root the device the Reactivation Lock becomes ON
You cant turn it off even from the FindMyPhone site
The Root i used PingPong Tool
Once you ran it you can turn R/L off. I still couldn't
even i created a new Samsung Account and used Smart Switch,
Even Removing the account did not work
How to over come this to install xposed and its framework!?
P.S Reactivation Lock stops you from flashing Xposed on Download Mode via Odin v3 ?

I'm wondering if anyone struggling with Smartlock as hard as I do
I have deodex OC4 rooted! First time I was setting up new device I came from NG3 - ND3 down - Towelroot - OC4 deodex. Smartlock didn't work for me at all (I tried all type of combinations fingertip, pattern, code, pin and trusted devices/places/on-body didn't try trusted voice), really nothing worked! At the same time I had all these options in smartlock menu. I was suspecting that gps works too slow/bad/inaccurate and can't detect trusted location immediately as I try to unlock my S5. So Itried TopNTP app, something went wrong (apparently) and my cell stuck in a bootloop. I had to downgrade to NCA with Odin - Towelroot - OC4 deodex again. But this time I might installed/updated apps differently and trusted devices/trusted voice/trusted places work like a charm with the pattern lock! BUT I don't have "on-body detection" option at all and it's a nice one. Stupid touchwiz and locked bootloader are killing me. Please help!!!
Offtop: I got my old LG G3, loaded Cloudy 2.3 (mostly stock ROM) and all smart-lock options and any combinations work 100% without any issues at all!
I just got a hand me down Samsung galaxy note 3 from my mother. I've been trying to root it, but have been unsuccessful. I've tried kingroot, towelroot, and odin. Odin seems to be the one where someone has solved the problem I'm initially having, but made me find another problem. The initial solution was to unchecked the reactivation lock option in the security settings., but that option is not available.
I did do a successful factory reset and activation after I received the phone.
Has any come across the missing reactivation lock option, and found a solution?
I bought a T-Mobile Samsung S6 from craigslist and it was working fine until recently that the Rent-A-Center lock screen popped up and rendered the phone useless as it was asking for the security PIN. I googled for methods to remove the annoying lock screen but could not find any guides for the S6.
(Sure, I could turn the phone back into RAC as it was "eligible for the buy back program" and take a loss....but why?)
Out of frustration of not finding a usable guide, I decided to use the existing guides for the S5 and hopefully adapt them for the S6. (The available guides suggest the use of custom ROMs, specifically one from cyanogenmod. However, there isn't any available S6 ROM from cyanogenmod yet.)
In any case, I followed the the basic steps:
Install customer recovery. In my case, I chose the latest version of TWRP (https://dl.twrp.me/zeroflte/twrp-3.0.2-0-zeroflte.img.tar.html)
Install a custom ROM to circumvent the code execution of the annoying custom lock screen.
This is where I made a mistake, but it turns out to be a good one! I had downloaded several custom ROMs but they did not stop the custom RAC lock screen. I am still not sure why I thought Alex-V Personal ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/development/rom-alex-personal-5-1-1-rom-t3156665) would work for the regular S6 but I downloaded it and flashed it.
After the successful flash, I realized that the ROM was intended for the S6 Edge and that the touch screen geometry was off--meaning, the response to the touch was backward. For example, touching the right edge of the screen would cause the left edge of the screen to respond and vice versa.
In any event, I managed to set the phone up and the RAC lock screen was gone! However, the phone is not 100% usable as the touch screen was barely functional due to off coordinate responses.
I searched for another ROM that might work; I found SOW NICE ROM OJC and downloaded it. I tried to flash the new ROM in TWRP but was not able to do it because I could not swipe the screen correctly to start the flashing process!
At this point, I wanted to start over so I used ODIN to flash the stock ROM (G920TUVS3DOJC). I didn't expect the phone to work normally as the stock ROM and other custom ROMs that were based on the stock ROM did not stop the RAC lock screen; but for some reason, the RAC lock screen was gone! And my phone was back to the way it was.
By the way, I had turned on the OEM unlocking and Reactivation Lock off on my phone. Thus I was able to install TWRP.
I hope this post would also work for your RAC-locked S6.
Hello guys!
I have updated my N920C to MM 6.0.1 Officially. Unfortunately I didn't enable the developer option and OEM was not unlocked also. I tried to restore or recover my device with KIES and RootJunkey method as well. Neither I can install a custom recovery nor It could be fixed with reset method because of FRP lock. Kindly help me getting out of this problem. Everytime it gets stucked on Google account login after reset And I really don't remember that account which was logged in previously.
Error Message: This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a google account that was previously synced on this device. (and it can't be skipped).
Note: I tried OTG method but it did not work. Bcoz Marshmallow does not allow the file manager to popup directly. That method is supported with Android L or less.

Hello.
I recently purchased Note 8. Yesterday, I installed the INS Rom N950FXXU5CSA3 so that i can get to ONE UI Pie Beta 2. After rebooting device started configuring Knox and these Knox enrollment, KC client and Retail mode apps got installed. When trying to enter Retail Mode using Pass "5444" the app crashes. However, without entering Retail Mode app i was able to uninstall it.
Know I am stuck with Knox Enrollment and KC Client. I couldn't figure out a way to bypass or uninstall these apps. Due to these there is no Google Play Store and I can't even change my wallpaper. It says "Security Policy restricts you from changing wallpaper" .
I have also tried to flash stock Oreo Roms with different CSC but no luck.
Can anyone plz help me. This is driving me crazy.
Sounds like you may have corrupted the internal storage on your device. You will need to reformat it and reinstall the OS again.
