At the beginning, just, Thanks rooCASE for ship me this case for evaluation and compose this little review about the quality and manufacturing design you had implement for this awesome device.
Thanks to be one of this rarely guys which can test it and try to give you some feedback in terms
for future production and ideas !
Now back to the case and the review. Sorry for this little "drive-away" of my thoughts
Installation:
Installation is quiet easy but just hold on and try to push the phone slowely in the case. In terms of this
Great case there is everything measured perfect for the edge buddy. It maybe to cautious the buttons of the phone will broke when you need to press in the phone to the case. But it`s maybe so long to cautious till first user will lose the functions of the buttons
But overall the phone is perfect fitted or in other words - the case is fitted perfect for the phone.
Design
About the design : I was long time on the path with the friend "google" to find a great case for quality / protections but now to the most important part for me - great - thin looking as well. With this case you will be happy in every part of this wishes. I like the design with white / black really great for it. Ok.. My phone is white as well but I like the word understatement more then overstatement
My car is white and black as well and I think this is the combo which is timeless .
The black line on the side of the case looks really nice and I think this will give you and others the feeling that this case is really thin. For me it`s just the special taste of rooCase and for me this design element is choosen perfect.
Here I will give rooCase my thinking what can be improved :
On the back of the case ( 95 % is white) I will enjoy maybe some elements in black just as an eyecatcher.
I know - there are different views of each user but I think something like on the side of the phone will be perfect as well for the back.
On the top - front and bottom - front, the rubbery (I know it`s pixelpeeper thinking ) is fitted not perfect to the screen - line. It is for sure different in each example of product but on my one there is 1 mm space from the rubbery to the screen . I can see actually 1mm of the aluminium case under the rubbery.
The cut-outs are build-in perfect and everywhere on top and bottom of the phone the headphone jack and so on everyting is placed perfect in the middle of the holes.
Protection
About protection of the case, rooCase has done a great job on this I think. With this case I fitted on my phone as well the Spigen Curved Screen Protector on my Edge. (full body protector glass)
I have the phone now some weeks ago and in the case maybe 2 - 3 weeks. Till today I hadn`t issues where my phone take some flight time but like everybody knows .. That can happen faster as you think.
When I had this issue I will give you for sure a feedback here in my thread about this case and protection.
On the back the camera protection is solved great. Camera glass is " I think " 2-3 mm deeper then the case.
Conclusions
Will follow ...

Silicone Skin & Pouch - together.

Hello,
I thought I'd share my silicone skin and case combination with you, both from good old eBay...
Silicone Skin (& screen protector): eBay link - £3
For that price, it was worth a gamble and it paid off! If looks nice, fits perfectly and is nice to hold. The screen protector is a bonus and it also fits perfectly. (this might me UK only shipping though)
Pouch: eBay link - £2.50
Supposedly original HTC, but I wouldn't know... It's like the HTC supplied pouch that came with my last phone, HD2. The above silicone skin fitted on my Incredible S fits inside of this pouch, and it's a really good fit like it was built for it! No problem getting it out to answer a call. I paid £2.50 with free shipping on a 'buy it now'.
Over all, for around £5.50 all-in, I'm happy with this combination - my phone is nicely protected and isn't too bulky in my pocket.
That case looks really nice, could you post some photos of it?
thanks, ill be looking into the case
Someone wanted photos...?
As requested, I just took some pics for you.
(I've just had a bag of crisps so I had to polish my phone a bit to get rid of greasy finger prints - I hope you all appreciate my effort!!)
I should have put these up in my original post really, but here you go...

By the way, the silicone case was delivered in a couple of days after placing the order (UK Royal Mail).
The Pouch came from Asia somewhere, but it got here safely and took around 10 days.
do you find it hard to press down on the power button?
+1 on the question about power buttons but also about the volume buttons - are they still easily pressed??
i was also wondering what kind of material is it?
is it soft stretchy silicone that grips really well? because i hate it when those stick in my pocket, or is it more like the inc. s's original case finish?? kind of hard / rubbery?
thanks
The power button and the volume buttons push OK. There are moulded 'buttons' in the case and pressing them activates the buttons just fine. I've never had a problem with them not working.
Regarding the material it is made from, its not a really rubbery/sticky material, so it shouldn't gather pocket fluff! Its actually quite smooth and rigid (the material), flexible still, but holds the shape of the phone nicely. You can just about stretch it over the phone to get it on.

I purchased this case for £6.95 form AMazon yesterday and it came today. I wanted a thin case that offers as much protection as it could, and I believe this is that case. THis case is listed as $35 on thier website, I just wanted to say I dont think that it is worth that much.
The case has a hard, plastic structure with a layer of Brushed Aluminum on the back. This gives it a cool touch and a very nice texture. All cutouts are very well aligned and I have had no issues with audio or pressing the volume or power buttons. The pogo pins are also exposed which is nice as this is the only case I know where they have allowed them to be open. Overall the case is very good very slim and offers quite a lot of protection.
THe negatives come in the way of the design though. The huge poetic logo on the back of the case (see images) may put some people off as well as the bottom and top silver plastic being exposed on the device. Also the case is not that grippy to hold. Meaning it is very slippy to hold and may fall out of your hand.
Great case at a great price.

Here's my video:
Great review man... does it provide any protection to the front? What I mean is if you put the nexus face down does the glass touch the surface at all?
Thanks for putting up the review. That has got to be one ugly case though. I want my branding to be mostly invisible. That one screams LOOK AT ME!!!!! :silly:
Just recently got my nexus and I've been looking for a new case. I just recently dropped my nexus on concrete and the top right corner the I guess bezel or the silver gray material came off. Am wonder ok by if this case would provide decent protection against such a fall

I had been searching for a screen protector that covers even the curved edges of the Note II screen, offers best clarity and best protection. Heard a lot about gadgetshieldz being very good .Having personally used it for my brother’s iPhone 4s I thought that I’d give it another try. And now that I have installed it, I can vouch for the fact that indeed it’s a great protector to have for the Note II. I couldn't find a review of gadgetshieldz for the Note II. Thought I should post a short review with a few pictures.
Okay, so first of all living in India things like an SGP case is really hard to come by or really expensive. I got to say that gadgetshieldz is really by far the best and cheapest option that offers this kind of protection. Another thing being gadgetshieldz operates in India and offers free home delivery. The thing arrived pretty quick too, in about 2 days. For all the Indian members interested in purchasing this you can head over to this page.International users can head over to www.gadgetshieldz.com. You get 3 options basically: 1) Screen Protection 2)Body Protection 3)Maximum Protection. A thing with the Note II is that after some use, the silver bezel starts to wear out. So I obviously went in for the maximum protection.
I should warn you though that this is a WET install. A very cool thing about this is that has a perfect cutout for the proximity, light sensor, front cam, speaker grill & the home button. All the cuts are precise. It also comes in some pretty neat packaging which gives it sort of premium and high quality feel. All the instructions of application are given pretty well, so there shouldn't be a problem in the application. On application if there are any bubbles formed, you can flatten them out with a credit card or something of the sort. As for the small bubbles, they should disappear with time. The front and back side were pretty easy to install. The sides being curved were a pain in the A$$ though.
The screen protector looks fabulous on both, the screen and the body. The clarity is awesome and does not compromise the display. In fact it's very hard to notice that there is a screen protector on.With the protection on the sides and back, you can say goodbye to any more scratches.
Please hit the Thanks button if you liked the review.
Thanks mate! I really like the cut of this sp and I don't mind a wet install.

Review: Melkco Special Edition Kubalt Double layer case for the LG G4

Hello all,
I'm coming at you with another review of a case. This was sent to me from @adamsjordan75 - straight from Hong Kong. The case just arrived and I had the pleasure of opening up the package and installing the case right away. Please see this link for the promotional pictures first:
https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=835591319823762&id=147941101922124
The package is nicely done. First of all, it does not look cheap. Secondly, it comes with a free screen protector and a cloth cleaner. I'll be honest - I didn't expect it to come with a screen protector, especially since Spigen's screen protector costs something like $11 + shipping. Third, it was shipped in bubble wrapped envelope to protect its goods during shipment. Keep in mind that this case traveled far to get to me, and it arrived in pristine condition.
Please see below for some pictures - will upload attachments via my phone.

Here are some pictures of the packaging, right out of the box.
Here you can see the clear cut-outs for the microphones, IR blaster, charging port, speaker, flash/sensors, and USB. The front side of the phone is protected by a lip - probably 1mm or so, to prevent the screen from touching the surface (desk, table, ie). The back is TPU/silicone material, so it's grippy, yet soft. In the beginning of the install, I had some trouble getting the phone into place and thought that the fitment was off. However, I carried my phone on a short walk and the silicone eventually wiggled itself in place. You can see from the pictures with the phone installed that the fitment is perfect. The case is not too tight, unlike my Rearth Ringke case, which makes me NOT want to remove the backing to swap batteries because it feels like the phone/back will crack every time I take the case off.
This case was on carrymobile.com, but as I am unable to locate a link there, I will link you all to Amazon.

I plan to update my review in a few days, as I'd like to get some usage in before giving a review on that.
Looks like it might be a good one to grab. Looking forward to your update
I had the pleasure of using this for a few more days on my vacation. The case is fairly easy to clean, especially since I got it dirty repeatedly because of my attempts to take pictures of food while eating with my hands. The case comes off easily when you want it to, allowing you to access the sdcard or to swap the battery. I made use of this feature many many times in the past few days.
Definitely a thumbs up for this case.

Skin instead of case?

Hi, I've recently found out about skins - an interesting alternative for cases. To be honest, I couldn't find any good case for this phone. Now I'm using Nilikin Case - it's slim, looking pretty good, but has cracks in few places already. I guess it doesn't give me any protection anyway in case of hitting the floor. But naked phone is way to slippery (especially the glass on the back). So why not trying skin instead? I had hard time to find something, which has (potentially) good quality. I had to find international (on eBay), because there was almost nothing in my country to buy (only printed crap with very bad reviews).
So I found this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3D-Carbon-S...sh=item419deb1600:g:ie8AAOSwYHxWFs20#shpCntId
So, should I give it a try?
I'd vote for: yes! Looks definitely interesting, please share some pictures if you do.
Ordered Brushed 3D: Black. We'll see how it performs.
Just got my skin today! I didn't expect it so early. Anyway it's not easy task to put this skin (and any other as well i guess). I left my metal bumper, because it love how it's looking. So only top and back skin are on. Gonna post some photos maybe tomorrow

Thanks for the pics! Do you like it? Is the material nice to touch?
Yeah I like it. Material is nice to touch and looks durable. But who knows how really tough it is, we'll see in few weeks. One downside is front skin covers notification led! Because of that it's very dim.
After a week of usage I have to say it got some scratches on back (several). Fortunately there aren't that much visible.

Well, a lot of scratches, but they aren't that visible on black texture. However I've taken off front skin, because when phone was heating up (while playing some games) sticky glue was going from it. Fall damage? Well - it doesn't give you any protection from falling on the ground and any other skin won't give you any. For me it's great cover for back glass, because glass has a lot of fingerprints and is very slippery.
i prefer the case than the skin. the skins don't give much protection already the both side of my phone got cracked
