Hey guys, so my Nook HD+ is running the latest cm 11 nightly of Kitkat 4.4.4. I have installed xposed framework and added the gravitybox module. (I have the latest version of xposed and gravitybox installed too) I wanted to change both the status bar and navigation bar colors. I was able to change all the colors successfully except for the main 3 buttons on the bottom, which is the back button the home button and the recent apps button. I don't understand why they won't change. No matter what color I try to change it too it just stays white, even after reboot. I did notice that when I bring up the keyboard the left and right arrows on the bottom left and bottom right of the screen respectfully have changed color. So i don't know what to do. Help would be appreciated! =)

Hey err'one !
Ok, I have gravity box installed and I have turned on the option for status bar colors. My issue is the colors I have selected are not shown all the time. For instance, on my home screen, the status bar background remains black. But if i go into the messaging app, or dialer, the bar turns to the color I selected.
Where should I look to make the status bar and text colors remain persistent while navigating through my device?
EDIT
NM, i fixed it. Conflicting settings between NOVA launcher and Gravity Box settings.
Thanks.
After instaling Android L navigation Bar the small apps bar on the recent apps screen came down to the very botom of the screen staying behind the navigation bar. I already tried removing the module but it won't go back in place. Any ideia on how to solve the problem?
Try a factory reset. If that doesn't work flash a .ftf file

The same issue happened to me after installing lastest xposed gravity box
I removed gravity box and Android L navigation bar and installed Xperia/AOSP Navbar buttons, downloaded a image pack the android l nav bar icons and the problem was solved. For what i was able to understand reading some posts of people with the same problem it has something to do with the transparency that both Gravity box and Android L NB "impose" on the nav bar. For system tweaks I'm now using Xblast tools instead.
Hello,
on my Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet I now have Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.
Which is running great; this also applies to Xposed.
But I absolutely don't like the changing status bar color, which makes feel the OS a bit kindergarten-like (Windows XP, anyone?).
Is there any Xposed module or other app (or system file modification) with which I can make the status bar permanently black?
Any hint is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Best Wishes,
Hasenbein

Have you tried flat style status bar ?
The default blue status bar is extreme ugly...
Yes, that blue is hideous...
Flat style status bar helped (after pulling out my purse for Pro version...), thank you very much!
If you are using Xposed you could try my app NotifyClean. I just added there an option to revert this "blue". It's then AOSP behavious, means all apps could change the color as they like or black if not implemented / before Lollipop compiled
Great, man! Thank you!
Just one thing: On my device the "notifications always expanded" option in your app doesn't work at all. (Yes, I did restart ) Although this is not a problem, because there's the Xposed module "All notifications expanded".
@hasenbein1966: I tested with Z2 Tablet SGP521 + the "baltic" Android 5.0 rom hier from xda. This works without problems. Maybe another module prevented it which hooks also there? If the module is enabled, for this option only a restart of the app is needed (in settings for the apps, there is a menu item to restart)
Hi guys, so apparently my status bar can't turn transparent in apps. Instead it defaults to a light grey, almost white which is extremely annoying to look at. Google maps for example always keeps the status bar white when I know that it should be transparent (or at least the default dark grey). Only on the home screen I can get a transparent status bar but not in apps, which I tested with various apps comparing to me tablet.
I thought first that it is an issue with an exposed module but I disabled all of them did a reboot and it still won't turn transparent.
I can make Screenshots or upload a video if you don't get what I'm saying
Must be your ROM or an Exposed module. My stock Z3C does not have that issue on 5.1.1.
But what could it be, I have disabled all xposed modules and I still get it...
Btw i'm on stock .232 (expect root and xposed).
Screenshot attached Btw.
(e) nevermind just updated the xposed framework to .75 and now I have transparency.
Case closed.
Hi,
I want to give Nougat a try, but i really cant stand the perma-black navigation bar. Since now I used Xposed with Flat Style Colored Bar module, which dynamically changes the background and the button colour of the navigation bar in order to match the current app/screen.
Since Xposed isn't avaiable for 7.1, i was wondering if there were apps or mods that provide a similar funcion.
Thanks in advance.

He's not talking about Pixel Navbar here, but something to adapt Navbar color just like notification bar does.
