Hello.
I received Z3 Compact(D5803) but it have simlock, unfortunately I can't take off simlock by entering code because Simlock Network is 0. My question is can I get rid of simlock by flashing phone with another firmware? Is this possible?

Hi all
This is my first Sony phone.
Got it on EE as they did a great offer.
But it turns out that means I cannot unlock my bootloader.
Will flashing the stock UK firmware change this to allow?
I'm looking into buying a used SP and I got somewhat confused about sim- and bootloaderlocks.
If I get a (cheaper) simlocked phone - is there a chance the bootloader is unlockable? (Guess not since it would help in removing the simlock...)
Given a simlocked phone with 'bootloader unlock allowed:no' - will having a phoneshop remove the simlock result in an unlockable state?
Do I have to get a factory unlocked non-carrier-branded phone to get unlockability?
If not - how do I recognize unlockable ones prior to the sim-unlock?
Edit:
Shops in my country charge about 45 dollars for unlocking sony phones. Is there any detriment in using a web-based service instead?
Can someone recommend a trustworthy one they've used themselves? How much was it and how long did it take?
Thanks for your insights

You're basically flying blind unless you buy a factory sim unlocked phone which should have the bootloader unlockable. If the carrier has simlocked it then they usually bootloader lock it too.
Hi,i'm just wondering has anyone tried to unlock xperia z,z1/2/3 with s1tool,and is it possible?
What is the status of your bootloader in your service menu ? There was a person jinx who reported could unlock some xperia phones when the bootloader in the service menu said "no" but I have not heard anyone had this done for the z1 site : http://phoneunlockserver.com/
Hello,
I'm a new Xperia Z3 Compact user and accidentally I entered wrong simlock unlock code (i thought it wants pin code).
So after 5 attempts my simlock counter is blocked. When I enter service menu and then simlock it says "[x] network 0".
Is there anyway I can reset simlock counter? I mean flashing some stuff or something.
Please try to help.
Thank You in advance.
Anyone help me please I need same. I got sim unlock code from EE but now find out that it doesnt work as Reset counter is 0. Any good software even if have to pay?
Try reflashing firmware maybe it will help but not 100 percent sure.
