[ROM] Avicho MIUI For Arc/Arc S [2.3.23] [Eng/Hebrew/Multi][U P D A T E D: 3/25/2012]

Hello,
This is the first post that gives you miui rom based on the work of our great Dev - JasonStein. I'v used his tool and these are the results..
Avicho MIUI ROM
This is the most updated Miui Rom - 2.3.23 including the English, chinese, Hebrew(Full UI Translate, RTL support and Hebrew T9 dialer) Languages.
Enjoy.. and remember I'm not a developer...
Use doom's miui kernel or blendmiui kernel(my favorite..)
This Miui Rom needs baseband 56 to run - If you don't have this Baseband
Flash it with flashtool. This is the link to the 56 Baseband: http://www.mediafire.com/?b6ph27ry7vd5h7p
Install instructions:
1. Put the rom zip file in your sd card
2. Make sure you have the desired kernel - doom's miui kernel or blendmiui v09(my favorite) kernel. if not flash it using fastboot.
3. Recomended - wipe data factory and cache, especially if u come from other rom (like stock or cm7), if not it's not so important
4. Flash the rom using the cwm recovery.
5. Reset and enjoy.

Hello, thank you for your ROM update. Just FYI, MIUI extended settings (the version for 1.11.25) is not working with your version. Something you removed or added to this ROM broke the update. But everything else seems to be working fine.

I found a solution to this problem - download the attached files and put them on your sd card. the file named "Signed_NoOverscroll.v1" flash through the recovery but before you flash this file mount the "/data" and the "/system" through the cwm recovery 'mount' menu (it's easy). after the mount thing flash the file and reboot.
Then go to file manager program (like es file explorer) and then install the MIUIsettings.apk file(check before that you can install file from unknown sources in the aplications settings). After this easy operations u will enjoy the "miui control" app.
Anyway, I'm here to help.

Additional Notes
I recommend using TouchPal as a keyboard replacement to avoid the small unusable area of the standard keyboard when the smartphone is rotated.
I recommend using NeoReader or Google Goggles for Barcode / QR Code scanning.

Currently only english and chinese. Will upload german in a few minutes.
I will look into hebrew after that.
You could get the latest hebrew language pack from this site. My hebrew is not existent therefore I can't find the file on my own. If you send me a download link, I will include it on this page and maybe create an hebrew rom.

Should work on your ARC without problems, only the identifier will be set wrong. Try it please, if necessary I can make an ARC version too.

I've changed the default theme to my SoftWhite Theme and applied the Tweaks that Jason recommends.

Good work with that ROM. I'll try it when I get home.
Can anybody report about battery life with this? I'm currently on JasonStein's v9 and the battery life is amazing. Don't want to lose this.

Guys, this is a port of MoKee OS for the Xperia Pro (MK16i/a) iyokan, and not for Xperia Arc. Since Xperia Pro does not have a separate forum, we post all Pro stuff in Arc forum.

what battery tweaks does this have over the cm 7?

Some issues I hve with this ROM
1)The settings app fcs when u open the superuser option in system settings..
2)Chinese text Settings>System>Notification Settings
3)It says ZTE Blade Settings under Device Settings
4)the backlight of the hw keyboard doesnt work..Arrgh..
5) swipe to clear notification doesn't work.. When i try to swipe the notification tab gets changed..
6) Keypad mapping is wrong.. it's somewhat like the old fxp CM7 build..
What I love in this ROM
1) the notification pane.. Guys its freaking awesome..
2) The Ad Block option
3) the looks..
4) transparency everywhere. Sexy.
I'll be updating as soon as i use it more..

@now.i.feel 1) I had to use cm7's superuser cause mokee's doesn't work that is why this setting feature fc's
2) v03 is still beta I saw they missed it during translation, but i just ported it
3) once again just a string name cause mokee os has been designed for zte devices
4) it's because of cm7 kernel, you can try the other one for cm7 rom
5) didn't test it
6) have no idea i used latest cm7 122 for pro, no similar issue on my neov
btw: could you please take screen shot from dialer and from about phone (scroll down to show mod version)

I can confirm that this is nothing to do with kernel as I used the same kernel for CM7 and MoKee OS and it works in CM7 but not MoKee OS.

@now.i.feel is talking about the hardware keyboard. Neo V doesn't have one. It's a thing od Pro devices. It's just a matter of changing to the correct keylayout. There is an app called ProParts used in CM7 which is used to easily correct the keylayout. Perhaps you could include it in MoKee OS?

It's integrated with system settings. It's under Device Settings.

-Google Playstore stucks at 100% download until you reboot the phone (3rd party markets seemes ok)

thanx for the screenshots. Could you please provide us the more information that there is no lewa camera & gallery app, It is the default 4.2.2 android cam & gallery. Why there is no such a Lewa cam & gallery?

Soryy I don´t know ... the MIUI v5 has also an other camera ...and this LeWa is a port...
should I write it to the op
I do not speak chinese language and it is not possible to ask the developers while there hp http://bbs.anzhi.com/ is blocking me .
I just saw this nice ROM and found out that there is no other Lewa port and shared it with you people here
But if someone is using this ROM... can you tell me if wifi is connecting with WPA2-PSK ? I'm not able to connect my router

No its better to ask from developer. Plz u too try to ask & me too. Just write your question on Google translate & translate to chinese language, even i wonder u can also write to them in english too. May be they know the English or in other way they would be reply. Im using this rom, working very well in performance & visually. Even its not ported rom by lewa. Bcoz its being directly publishing by lewa team, bcoz there is already galaxy s3 in model list on official lewa website. So we should get all the lewa features. So plz just write to them. Thnx

One thing more. This device is listed on official website but i think its not still official rom because i checked on website that its developer version which has not fully lawa features yet. I think so but not sure.

Maybe you will only see the announcement if you can time travel, it clearly says the release announcement will be made on 14.02. In that case, bring us back an S5 so we can have the scoop.

Not: Maybe when install step you have thema and backup apk FC... dont worry work every thinks.

Yes themes working. No. Only English and Turkish. Maybe next update included multi lang.

Im not sure mate but i think this Rom has Multilang support. After Installing there was the : "select your language" window and there were much languages. (The applied one after boot is Turkish )
After a day of testing ..Here is my Result :
1.The Rom is smooth. i mean reaally smooth
2.The Battery is ...Not bad but not that perfect my battery is broken ^^ ) I got 7-8 Hours (15% left) with 3G/Wifi on. playing games and messaging(Whatsapp) .Btw Its the first version of Miui based on Kitkat so after some update by @Kingspp it will be definetly better! :fingers-crossed:

Looking other languages doesn't support. If you try this options selected language but not change language rom very smooth. I hope next update will be much better thank you for testing.
