Is the internal storage still partitioned in phone storage and other storage? Or has Sony finally switched to the unified storage (one partition for data and the sdcard folder) like the Nexus phones and tablets?
I just love the flexibility I have on my Nexus 7...
Can someone please post a screenshot of the storage information (from settings -> storage)?
2GB /data

Hi there, always wondered, when using Gingerbread or ICS roms, it has about 1.85gb space, wheras Jellybean only has 1.40ish gb space.....why is this????? lol (NooB!)
Odp: GB/ICS 1.8gb .... JB 1.4gb ???
JB required to change sizes of partitions because the actual /system was too small for it. Devs moved some space from /data and added it to /system, so the JB could work properly.

I have cwm touch recovery and i did that but its always the same. i delete all pastes but only give me 2 gb of space
Then look into your backup folder. Every backup is about 2 GB each and CWM doesn't delete it with internal SD as the space for backups is hidden from internal memory.
Download ROM manager and delete the unnecessary backups.

Maybe you didn't format sd from recovery, so what you can't see is still right there Cm uses a sort of emulated sd

Hi, just flashed my Z1 (SO-01f JP version) to C6903 Global version, however it seem to not be able to show correct MEM(Default it 32 GB) in setting it show only 11.8 GB of MEM. Will I be able to use 11.8 GB ?
Any advice? or i should flash back to stock ROM only.
Thank You
Default is 16gb. System takes space so 11.8 looks good

If you see 11.8GB only is not 32GB. Also the only 32GB is the Z1s and not Z1. Are you sure what you brought? Check again.
There's no Z1 C690X with 32GB of internal memory. Also it's not HDD, but flash memory.

SO-01f is a Japanese Domoco's version with 32gb od memory. And to the OP, you flashed wrong TFT from version with 16gb. Flash TFT from your version and you will have your 32gb back

This is really weird. You saying the FTF from Z1 made a prtition of 16gb instead of 32? Well, then this explain all but hard to believe.

No, it didnt made this partition 16gb. It just reads it as 16gb. I had the same problem with Nexus 4, after flashing firmware from 8gb version partition was still 16gb but phone was thinking and using just 8. Simply flashing firmware from 16gb version fixed that
