I've reset it 4 times now, as its the only way i know how to fix it, but after a few hours, many selectable options on the phone locks up. For example Notification tray doesn't react to any touches, i can't drag it down. I also cannot select settings buttons or 3-dot menus, and anything with tabs, I can't click on tabs. I'm strictly only limited to just apps in the app drawer Thats the only thing that doesn't seem to lock up

I have not had any of these issues, although I have had a few others that a factory reset fixed for me. It sounds like you definitely should request a replacement phone.
Hi friends. Just got this wonderful device and decided to unlock it.
After unlocking I'm not sure if it's me but there seems to be a delay in touching an icon and it activating. For example, I press the app drawer icon from Nova Launcher and it takes about a 0.5 second delay before it actually triggers and opens. Am I simply noticing a delay which was always there? The delay is also present when inputting the pin in the lock screen.
Also I am now unable to activate the mini screen feature that normally activates when I swipe to the soft nav buttons.
So two problems I've noticed since unlocking the bootloader. Will greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!
Update: OK the delay somehow disappeared. Response is pretty snappy right now. All I did was uninstall and install new apps
Update2: OK what; even the mini screen swiping on nav bar gesture works again. Not sure what happened but all issues have been resolved
The bottom of my SystemUi is being rendered off screen all the time. For an example, when this happens, I'm not able to see the bottom row of GBoard or default toast messages or the pie volume popup when i have the screen on landscape mode... This had been happening at random for the past few days and I've found if i force SystemUi to restart it goes back to normal for some time..
What do you think is happening? I'm running PixelExperience Pie...
I was able to find the problem after some playing around. It's my preferred navigation gesture application (FluidNG) that was causing the problem. Clearing the cache and storage of that app fixed the problem. Mods, please close this thread.
Hey guys
Today I updated to Android 9. Nothing to complain except this 1 annoying button.
This 1 forces the phone into the landscape mode and I can't find the setting to disable it.
There is also no way to drag of somewhere else. Also no notification or similar
Any suggestions?
It's because you have gestures enabled. There's no way to disable it afaik.
Button is nothing but annoying

I also have this button and it's beyond annoying and covers up part of my keyboard. There's got to be a way or an app that gets rid of this thing for those of us who don't want it.
Hi,
This is happening since the update to Android pie when I swipe to the left to reveal my multitasking menu nothing shows up even though I have apps '' running'' in the background.
Any ideas how to fix this?
I would use software buttons for a while and see if it works with key and if does then change it back

I've had this happen a few times and then get back to normal. Will keep an eye out but just seems like a little bug.
Have you tried clearing cache through recovery menu?
it can be triggered after you were using split screen function,
simply use any app which capable of doing "Restart System UI"
am using Quick Reboot app to do so (root needed)
