MOD - Working Headset Buttons -Alpha

Hey,
i just tryed fixing the Headset Buttons for Razr I...
It works for one button Headsets & I need someone trying it with 3 Button headsets
here are the files that have to be copied to
/system/usr/keylayout
don't forget to set rights!!!
U'll need an App like Headset Droid to configure Buttons for Next Button!!!! NOT for Play/Pause Button!!!
Modded Generic.kl
Modded intel_short_long_press.kl
Modded medifield_audio_Intel_R__MID_AUDIO_Jack.kl
Original Generic.kl
Original intel_short_long_press.kl

Hi mate. Cool idea, have beats headphones and always wanted to make control work with motorola. Had sensation xe before and it was great to control music by headphones.
Keep it up mate.
For me your mod doesn't work just recognised all 3 bottoms as "next track"
I used headset control app. Hope you'll figure it out and our headphones will be 100% useful again

As workaround you can set all things to next key first of all.just define one click as play/pause and double click as next, press and hold as volume up and reset or as ever u like. Did you thought on rebooting the phone?

The first think was, the files you provided are *. txt instead of *. kl so had to rename it. Later I replaced files and set up program for 3 bottoms, one next track one start stop track and one previous track. The problem was all 3 bottoms was recognised as "next track"
This is strange
What do you think about it?? If you have any ideas what am I doing wrong please let me know mate. Cheers

Did not work at all here
When I had my Defy, i just changed the "headsethook" entry in some file I cant remenber to "media_next" and all 3 buttons were used for that.
In Razr I cant even to that, using a keymap app when I press the buttons on my headset it won't even show up.

there is a way to enable "volume rocker?"

Mate what kind of earphones are you using?? It seems to not work with my beats headphones. They use to work with me sensation XE but motorola mess this up

My headset buttons doesnt even get recognized with keytest I'm using omar rom.
I used the same headset on my defy with cm10 and it was working.
Can anyone use keytest app to see if it is just me?

With my earphones (beats from sensation xe) all 3 headset bottoms are recognised as one bottom

In my experience the headphone doesn't get recognized at all, while in my old defy it still do This is a handy tool to use when you're commuting. :crying:

someone has tried this mod with a Samsung's GS3 headsets? they have 3 buttons

Yeah, but this version wasn't used “officially“ last year. It only appeared one time in the experience app of the S5. On the Unpacked events, Samsung used the S4 version. So it can be said, that this is quite a “new one“.

It's a kind of music theme for Samsung Galaxy devices. Since Galaxy S2 nearly every new S Flagship is getting its own musical theme. Alongside of the full version, there are also a Power On, Ringtone and Media_Preview variant. The Sound Design is developed by Samsung Sound Lab. There is an interesting blog post at SamsungTomorrow.

I have an s7 edge and there is no power on sound by default. Is there any way to enable one

If you have root, you can do the following steps:
-Go to system/media/audio/ui
-Replace the PowerOn.ogg file with a music file of your choice

Xperia T LT30p Bluetooth headset system device

Hi guys.
I'd like to know what system audio device/stream to modify in the snd-soc-msm file to increase in call volume on a Bluetooth headset (and even just the handset earpiece for that matter) as per peetr's mod for a2dp... Or find another way to increase in call volume because it's really low on the handset and connected to the car.
Any advice welcomed. Thanks

I am a Sony lover and I recently upgraded from Xperia Z3 to moto G5 Plus. I really love this device but only thing I was missing was Sony Music App and dolby sound. So I searched alot and found the sound mod and sony music app. Its working for me so I thaught I should share it with you all. I am using AOKP rom and the sound mod is working perfectly as it should. Loud and clear sound and I am in love with this mod. Its not my work I am just sharing the link below. All the credits goes to the developer.

Well, it's about testing and experiment with different setups, in fact, it is the biggest improvement about audio... For me it is top notch, and also includes all the Sony suite that works beautifully

Are you sure that sony audio effects are working. I tested on redmi 1s and it doesnt work. i am postponing root until devolopers set themselves since root with stock i dont like it.

All I can say is that I can feel the change in sound quality. Sony Music app, Dolby and viper all are working perfectly.

If you have backup of your data then you can restore that otherwise you have to factory reset the device.
or just reflash your current rom without any wipes.

Bro use arise and its installation is very easy just download that latest version (alongwith magisk module latest if you use magisk) and watch the installation video . Its worth the effort .
I have been using it since its inception .

Soundabout fc on my system can't open it. I'm running miui 10 eu with viper4android as magisk module, maybe they two don't working with each other idk why.
the app earpiece working and it doesn't sound distorted or something it sounds good
