Steps to reproduce
Phone - Elephone P7000
OS:
Android 5.0 , stock firmware P7000_20150807, freshly wiped and reflashed (to ensure no other software interferes)
Steps:
Install Xposed ( xposed-v73-sdk21-arm64 ), reboot
Install an Xposed module (like Xprivacy or Gravitybox), activate and reboot
Install Viber or Terminal Emulator, reboot
Now whenever a notification by Viber or Terminal emulator appears, it looks "distorted" (colored noise, white lines, kinda psychedelic)
Also manifests with other apps, but most reliably with viber and terminal emulator (nearly 100% of the time)
Me got this too! So this bug is not a single user's mess-up.
i have too the same problem after i have install xposed v78 sdk21 arm64
i have test new v79 and have the same problem
i think is a conflict with android 5.0 only

What could be the reason of gravitybox and xhalofloatingwindow doesnt work on my tablet alcatel one touch pixi7?
I have got a root and xposed. I can run a lot of modules like awesome popuvideo, apv - youtube module, xmultiwindow (multitasking but very poor). If i try to install gravitybox (for KK) or xhalofloatingwindow (few versions) i have bootloop and have to off xposed manually by pressing few times on/off button. I cant run the most complex modules
I`ve got android 4.4.2, core 3.4.67 01002compilation number
-Running Xposed 2.7 Experimental1 on stock 4.4 rooted Droid Mini
Lately, I've been encountering some issues with Xposed in general.
-When downloading a new module
Anytime I find a new module I want, I download it normally and it downloads/installs no problem. But once it finishes, I don't get a notification to activate it and the module screen still says install. If I go to my modules, it's not there. I have to kill Xposed from recent apps and reopen it to my modules for the one I downloaded to be there, and only then can I activate it, which gives me the toast message to reboot.
-When updating an installed module
Similar to above, whenever I download a module update, it goes through normally, but after install, Xposed still says there's an update for said module, and said module disappears from my modules. Killing Xposed and reopening to my modules afterwards makes it show up, but in order for the module update changes to take effect, I have to disable the module, re-enable it, then reboot my phone.
Anyone have any idea? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the framework but that did nothing.
I tried to install Xposed 88.1 on my Xperia Z3 Compact with rooted stock Android 7.0, but ran into a few problems:
1. Modules will not download. If I start a download, it immediately stops itself. I've worked around this by opening the repository source and downloading the APKs directly from the browser page.
2. Modules do not work, even though the framework seems to be installed and active.
When I run the modules, I get messages that say something like "system framework not responding" or "module not active in framework".
The modules in question include BootManager, GravityBox [N], Amplify, etc.
Is this a common problem? Is there a fix currently?
I installed xposed through magisk and everything worked fine, I installed modules and they worked, but after a reboot the modules list in xposed is suddenly empty. in xposed I get the following log:
Code:
Unable to open /vendor/framework/oat/arm to prepare apps for Xposed: Permission denied
Unable to open /vendor/framework/oat/arm64 to prepare apps for Xposed: Permission denied
I was wondering if anyone else is using xposed and got similar errors, or even has a solution?
Edit: Turns out the cause was a (self made, very old) xposed module that somehow broke all the others - removing this fixed it.
@Abomb - Just curious, are you running Xposed on Oreo or Nougat? - TIA
I'm running Xposed on Oreo (through magisk)
@Abomb i'm using Oreo V 11.0 based Rom & Unable to install Xposed Module with Riru V 23.3 By Rikka
My device Poco f1 8GB 256 GB i install google pixel experience rom via twrp but i can't install xposed module
Hey,
I'm trying to install Xposed on Android x86 [android - x86 [.] org] android version 7.1
My biggest and most painful limitation is that I can't go into recovery mode, what makes this all Xposed installation into a nightmare...
What I did try to do is follow a tutorial of Xposed installation via binary file (what known on the Internet as installer.bin)
You can see the tutorial in here: [ h t t p s [://] www [.] youtube [.] com [/watch?v=eloJjAbWpxs]
And another tutorial that I also tried in here: [h t t p s [://] androidforums [.] com [/threads/guide-installing-xposed-without-flashfire.1071558/]
I ran the binary file
sh /sdcard/installer.bin
Click to collapse
The CLI menu showed up and everything seemed to run just fine, it told me to soft reboot the system with the Xposed installer and that after that everything is going to work, but after every soft reboot (or regular reboot) the Xposed installer still showed that the framework is not installed..
Anyone knows about any other way to install Xposed on Android x86 (version 7.1)?
Or maybe can offer any alternative to Android x86 (used to use Remix OS, although I loved the all desktop like interface, Remix OS is discontinued and very very buggy so I gave up on it..)
* I also tried to install Xposed on Android x86 versions 6.0 & 5.1, nothing seems to work over there too...
