*Alright guys, after seeing a lot of people post random bugs without providing basic information or logs, I decided to make a simple little write up on some basic rules to the thread.
1. Be courteous to one another & try & be helpful when you can. I can't answer every single question as I'm very busy trying to build the best rom I can make for you guys, so if you know a solution to a problem please answer.
2. If you are using xposed, DO NOT POST BUGS! I have already seen people posting issues only to find out it was due to xposed or one of it's modules.
3. When posting bugs, do so with as much information as possible. We can't help you if you don't give the proper information.*
*****
**** What version or the rom are you on?
**** Clean or dirty install?
**** Mainline or Ultimate kernel?
**** Are you using a theme?
**** If you dirty flashed & have problems, did you try a clean install?
*****
4. If you are having random reboots how about providing a log? These are invaluable as they provide the information to fix a real issue with the rom or to tell me that it is a user error.
5. If you are new to aosp or just don't know much about kernels, it is best to stick with the mainline kernel as it is very stable. No need to mess with the settings either as I have the kernel setup to enjoy out of the box.**

How to use Xposed with SlimRemix?
See this post
Chamber of Secrets
In my opinion, this is the most powerful Slim feature ever implemented. However this is a dangerous feature which is hidden by default.
How to enable it:
Go to Development Settings - Scroll to the bottom - Tap the empty area
How to use it:
Go to your home screen
Add a widget and choose Slim Shortcuts
Since it is a type of shortcut, you can use it somewhere else, e.g. in Nova launcher's gesture.
Click Chamber of Secrets
Go to https://github.com/SlimSaber/frameworks_base/blob/lp5.1/core/java/android/provider/Settings.java and pick one of settings name
There are two types of settings: A switch setting and a value-based setting
If you are unsure about the setting type, don't use this setting because which value that will be used is matter. You could end up with continuous FC or even a full wipe.
Example for switch setting: show_alarm_icon
Enter the setting name "show_alarm_icon"
Answer Switch question to "yes"
Example for value-based setting: statusbar_clock_style
Enter the setting name "statusbar_clock_style"
Answer Switch question to "no"
Enter the possible value: "0,1,2"
If you aren't sure about the values, don't use this setting

This rom is very good, very fast, but has some minor bugs. gps for me is fundamental, I know it did not work, see if it fixes it. When you receive a phone call screen does not turn to see who is calling. With FB sometimes not open external links. Sometimes I get stuck and pull out the battery to turn it on again. The battery keeps it handy when the phone is not used.
But still, is the best rom 5.0 I've tried.
I hope to serve my experience of use.

GPS will be fixed in new update. The problems with FB are related to their app.

Based on 5.1.1_r13 i.e LVY48E
can u change style application page to normal
Uuhh JustArchi optimizations, sounds interesting
edit:
Flashed it yesterday and no problems, rom is pretty smooth and has a lot of features.
-The Superuser request made settings unusable for a few mins, also a settings force close while I was playing around which i couldnt reproduce.
-The headsup notification look weird (it's like they're glowing+ they've have black corners) also there is no heads up tile(feature request )
Overall a nice rom gonna keep it as my daily driver

Radium-1.4 is up
To anyone who's hesitating to flash... do it.
Never used a rom as smooth as radium you should really try it out, you won't regret it.
Thanks for the update
does this rom have DT2w ?
which kernel and kernel management app do u recommend?
Flashed. Smooth and stable.
Double tap to sleep only
Hello, when I turn on trds some icons in settings are left untouched. Is this normal or any fix for it. I Have some wallpapers for this ROM. Can I put them here?
This rom doesn't have long press on recents to switch to last app? Can you please add this feature? (with the animation on pair with the others used in the rom would look awesome) And another request: can you please get rid of the round borders? Because it causes a glitch in the borders making it look ugly (look at the recents for example). Btw nice and smooth rom, keep the good work guys.
Is it possible to get rid of the rounded borders on anything in the next build? Also, it would nice to have the CM "recents panel" in which the cards/tasks go from the bottom to under the status bar, not from the bottom to the top of the screen like I've seen in the AOSP ROMs. For me, this ROM is the smoothest one I've seen and with the things I said above, it would be PERFECT. I hope you'll take into consideration my requests.
Nice work bro...
Great to see an indian guy
I have a problem, when ill try to pick in screen and led menu (inside of settings) it wont go in, show setting stop working, its say the allways y try pick it.

Other Info

Music player from crDroid instead of Eleven (Eleven is buggy for me, >2400music files, and it appears to only loop about 10 songs instead of the whiole collections, I have also had constant FC's since it was first introduced to replace Apollo crDroid Music does not appear to have these same issues:good
SELinux permissions added to allow ViperFX to run in SELinux Enforcing mode
For an explanation of the different CPU and IO gov's see:

I flashed Magisk 14.0. And before I had installed the manager, I got a couple of FC's
I also noticed that whenever I try to edit the navbar (Smartbar), settings FC's... hmm, I dont remember that on previous builds. On which I flashed Magisk 13.0. Probably unrelated.
Interesting that the video recorder did not have a noise on the audio track as seen in some of the other Nougat builds
ROM - sorry, broke the build new one will be up soon
Click to collapse
Looks like I may not have broke the build,or just broke it beyond repair...
The latest build has the same bug I saw with the previous build.Trying to set the action within the smartbar settings triggers an FC.
Anyway, new build is up (see OP) It also includes the default wallpaper from the next version of ColtOS (v1.4) but this build still is ColtOS v1.3
the new wallpaper.
I also looked at the log for the smartbar error.Looks easy to fix, but I don't use this ROM, so meh .
FINAL Buiild!
So, I refreshed the source code, and made a new build. The new version is Colt 1.4-SeaBreeze, and a download of the build can be found in the OP.
It still has the SmartBar editor crash, but Fling (or standard buttons)worked file during my 5 minute test.
I don't think I will be updating this ROM anymore, so you could think of this latest build as a final. I built it in the hope I would inherit a fix for the SmartBar; but alas, no.
In case anyone has been wondering whats been happening regarding these Nougat builds, I am sad to say that my device has finally died, and therefore I have stopped doing my private builds.
