just got the raider aka. vivid from Rogers here in Canada, spent an hour trying to figure out how to disable input vibration and no success.
I guess I was either blind or there is no option to disable it in regular settings?
Haptic feedback, or in keybord settings for keyboard input
Sent from my HTC Vivid via Tapatalk
It is in settings>sound>haptic feedback. You should be able to turn off the haptic feedback and that will stop the vibration except for the keyboard. That can be turned off in the language & keyboard setting I believe.
This is how it is on my Inspire so I think it should be the same with the Vivid, but I don't have it until tomorrow.

Yea this happens to me too. I just use Hardware Disabler to stop the proximity driver. So the screen never turns off in a call until the screen time out. And you can turn it back on by pressing the power button. Keep in mind though, that app makes the phone laggy...it's annoying at times, but less annoying then waiting on people to hang up or leaving them a long voicemail when they don't pick up
Turn on the proximity sensor
The proximity sensor on V20a is disabled by default. you can enable it by going into the secret menu and your problem will be solved.
Dial 3845#*880# ---->Device Test ---->All Auto Test Menu-Full --->ALC/Proximity Test --->Enable the proximity sensor here
Done

i've had the same problem. it sometimes happens, sometimes doesn't. no change after i enabled it in secret menu, still unreliable.
I picked up the note 3 yesterday and i have noticed that my capacitive buttons don't have any haptic feedback even though the setting is checked. Anyone else have this issue? Now the haptic feedback works on everything else including the keyboard. Just want to see if this is a common issue or not.

Dammit lol power saver mode was on. Weird my one at least gave me a notification when it turned on.
Just had the same issue and yes power saving was on and was not notified about it... kinda weird. But thanks for the post cuz it was driving me crazy

It goes on automatically at 20%. You have to uncheck that box too

I've updated to KK and haptic feedback does not work. Haptic feedback is checked, vibration intensity for haptic feedback is all the way up, and power saving is NOT on. I left the battery out for 10 minutes and put it back in. Nothing. Any ideas? Thanks.
Have you tried a factory reset? If that doesn't work, take it back to AT&T and exchange it.
Make sure you dont have turned off under your keyboard settings. You can have it ON in system settings but the keyboard settings will override that if you turn it off. I'm using Swiftkey and thats the case. Not sure about the stock keyboard if thats what you are using.
N/A - See next post.
I might as well give an answer to what I did to fix this. The phone wouldn't vibrate when I was called either. I ordered a vibrator motor that came with a plastic pry tool and I replaced the motor myself. It was really easy. Total cost was $12.00 including shipping. Now I'm a happy camper.
Hello all,
My screenshot gesture is not working. No matter how many times I knock against my phone screen, it doesn't take any screen shots.
I've tried disabling it and enable it again but it doesn't work. Restarted my phone also doesn't work.
Do anyone have any idea how to resolve issue?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Knock louder? Maybe they're out the back
Personally speaking, this knock things was some of the first I disabled in this phone... There is a pretty useful button in notifications shade, or you can use volume down and power.
if you have tempered glass installed, make sure it has no airlift inside, that will be the cause
