Cricket finally went ota with 2.2

Can someone confirm that ota is identical to the leaked upgrade?
I'm at work so I can't compare myself.

I will be doing a factory reset before trying to update with the OTA. Website says about 30 to 60 minutes. We'll see if anything is different with the "official" release.

Finally, now maybe some of these "man, Cricket ripped us off dude!" people will shut the hell up.
I have the zclusive update. The kyocera updater says no update available. No further information is given. Anyone have any ideas on downgrading. As I heard it, there isn't a dump of 1.6. Factory reset doesn't erase system software. Correct me if I'm wrong...
I have tried to run the update after a factory reset, well I was not able to download the OTA it just checks the version and says no update.
I noticed after factory resetting I could no longer download apps from the market. I ended up formatting my SD card and then running the updater again. So with that being said if yilou have already updated the OTA will not be available, and also confirms that the leak is the official update.

I'm interested in finding out if the ota has swype and the 3g bar graph.
Could someone who's done the upgrade ota report findings please ?

Also, if there are any changes that cricket made independently of the leaked update, all we'd need to do is get the ota system image and flash that to our phones

As far as I can see they are the same. The kernel, and build versions are the same. (I borrowed this guy's at school who did OTA today.) Everythings else looks the same, no swype, same 3g.

Can you dump his system, boot and recovery image by chance? I'd like to take a look
Edit *
Use mkfs.yaffs2 for system and recovery and dump_image for boot.

You can try this:

As far as I know, the leaked version and the official version are one in the same.
Is Active got already the kitkat update?
if he got I'll be happy if you tell me how to do it?
THX
The official OTA update for KK was v released 4/16/14 but was very buggy (screen unusable, etc). Since 4/18/14, AT&T pulled the update, and have since said they are working with Samsung in fixing the update and will be releasing the update again soon. As with everything, don't ask for an ETA as no one can even guess when that will be... Hopefully soon though.

I have successfully updated my Moto X to lollipop.. I was would like to root my phone now but I have a question..
If I root my phone now.. How will I get the future updates??
I have rooted my previous phones but there I could get updated roms with updated system version.. But here I don't see any roms..
Thanks in advance.
Sent from the future...
As long as you don't change any of the system files you will get the updates. If you flash other Roms you have to use their updates or flash back to stock to take the update.

I'm still on 5.0.2 after updating. Was this a security patch for the stage fright vulnerability?

Looks like it was the security patch.
I have an update, I am rooted... is this ok to do? Do not want to brick my device.
Please and thank you!
Expect it to fail as your system is custom now. You are off the ota path.
