Its possible to extract one from a N910T3.. I just didnt want to do it from mine as I suspect there is something up with the partitions.
On a side note.... How is your T3 running? Any lags or glitches? Are you stock? Thanks in advance!
If it was possible then wouldn't pit files be floating around? I'm on 910t
I heard a lot of people complaining about 910t3

Just wondering if anyone has found a stock Odin .tar.md5, for our AT&T SM-N900A.?
Also can anyone confirm any EFS backup solutions that work for our device?
Thanks.
There is no Odin image as the moment. If you mean something like a nandroid backup you can't do that yet.

Well, just it tight. Root has been achieved, thus an image will almost certainly be available soon. :highfive:
Has it actually been achieved or is it in progress?

Seems like that's a tall order, being selinux was requested by NSA.
Root has been achieved and I have the Odin files.

If memory serves me right you had the Atrix 4G years ago. I'm glad to see you've got the Galaxy Note 3 as well.
The OneClickBin for DesignGears' root method is stock odin flash I believe. Just don't finish the rest of the root process.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for the odin file for the new update to lollipop for the att note 3?
Don't think it's out yet

I have a customer who sent me SM-N910T bricked. I got the phone to boot finally by removing the battery and waiting a couple hours then it finally turned on. It gets stuck at the samsung logo. I tried to odin flash stock firmware but it gives me the error "Could not do normal boot"
ddi: mmc_read failed. When I flash the firmware it fails on Odin saying it is missing a pit file. Does anyone have the pit file for this phone?
Thanks

Pits are in the firmware they can be extracted.. try flashing twrp via odin.
And getting a rom onto ext sd...
His re-activation lock may be on so odin will fail..
But this can be by passed by flashing a bootloader such as COD6..
I have a partial which is just the bootloader and modem..
I will post it for you in a second..
Cod6 partial with instructions..
Here
Flashvetrin
Thanks for your response
I already tried to flash twrp and cf auto root. Neither one would flash, same error. I don't know how to extract the pit from the firmware, is that something that you know how to do? His reactivation lock is off.
Thanks

I have extracted the pit file and it still wouldn't flash. I think there's a problem with emmc card in the phone.
I believe this Note 4 cannot be fixed.

No worries on the pit.. i been at this for a minute.. its good to have this posted for end users as well who are stuck..
Dunno if your W8?? If so then maybe this wont apply. But Ael and emotion kerns will eliminate your lag with just a bit of tweaking, using synapse or alike controllers...

I'm in the process of getting the pit file from my sister's t-mobile note 4. Her phone has never been rooted or flashed or anything. Still a Virgin lol. Once I get her pit file then I'll test it and open a thread so users can download it.

Can't you just do a factory reset? That will wipe your data and you phone will like when you first turned it on.

Thats because the 920C isn't a USA branded device. International only.. Works great with US carriers...
So what firmware can I use to keep from bricking it?

I wanna root and check out the s8+ rom if there is one. I like to tinker and see which roms I like the best.

You have plenty of choices there. I run a S8 port on my 920c they all run great when you look at the roms the dev will mention different models his rom will work on if you see 920c your good to go. You just need to be on a Marshmellow base to run the nougat s8 ports..

I would say the bootloaders on them are still unlocked and if they are once you install twrp recovery make a backup most important. Im hoping that someone that has a rac 920c will chime in so we know for sure...lol
