Hi, I was wondering if anyone has an ideea about how to create a shortcut to the Set Home and Lockscreen Wallpaper section in Personalization. Currently if you want to change the wallpaper for these 2 at the same time, you have to go and click like a million times through the Settings to this section. I tried using Activities feature from Nova Launcher but no luck, the Personalization activity shortcut doesn't seem to exist.

I am not familiar with the HOME of Android OS.
Currently using Panda Home for my Gtab but also tried couple of other HOME app.(forgot names..) but none of them.. seems like not let me display many icons on the screen. I mean, I see the big gap between icons..
Is there any app to let me put more icons on Pandahome? or Do I need to use some specific HOME app to do that?
let me know...
Both adw launcher and launcher pro allow you to set the number of rows and columns on the screen. I prefer adw .
He is correct, adw or launcher pro are the flavors of choice around here. Personally I use Launcher pro. In the advanced setting you can set how many rows, columns, and icons to allow.
Thanks!
I see.. its relying on HOME APP.. I guess, I did not tried those two yet.
I will try it out.
thanks all!
hi,
i don't know how to set a different wallpaper for each homescreen in launcherpro
thanks
P.S. im not allowed to post a direct link so i cant give you an example
Press the Menu button on your device
Now press Wallpaper
Choose one
Win.
EDIT: Just realized it was multiple wallpapers.
Wallpaper Plus also does the job.
Search for multipicture wallpaper in the market,is free and is awesome.
I recommend Wallpaper Plus, it's better
Dose any one know how to customize home screen icons in the launcherpro.

Depends on what icons you are talking about. In terms of the dock, just long press on a dock item, and click the change icon option when the menu opens.
As for icons on the homescreen itself, you can change an applications shortcut icon whenever you create it. Just long press on the homescreen, Select Shortcuts, then Applications, Pick an App, then click its icon to change it.
You can also use Desktop Visualizer - http://www.appbrain.com/app/desktop-visualizer/jp.co.bii.android.app.dskvzr
This will let you set make custom widgets in many sizes and set the image for them to what you want. This will allow you to use oversized icons, or even custom designs such as the WP7 designs you might see around here.
Hope that answers your question

well thats in widget state, Just have to live with it for now........
Thanks all for the comments........
PS, I couldn't click thanks4 papertreeprophet. cause its limited for each day..
when creating the shortcut, at the screen where you can rename the shortcut, click the icon, and it will allow you to choose whatever you'd like.
Instead of placing icons on your homescreen from the app drawer, long-press on the homescreen and go to shortcut, that will let you choose the icon and name. This only works for apps, not folders.
Since I couldn't find any answer, I'm posting here my question:
There is any chance to add back the weather animations on homescreen and on lockscreen?

For lockscreen you must enter to the Settings>Personalize>Lockscreen and choose the Weather
I know that, thanks, but there's no weather in there . I know how to add it (I still have the Htc One X too), but there's no weather animation (the one from sense 4).

Set Wallpaper to Weather... After in lockscreen style choose wallpaper...
you have 2 choices at wallpaper (current) lockscreen: press settings, and "use home wallpaper" or "use custom wallpaper";
- if you choose 1st, is the default one.
- if you choose 2nd, you have to select an wallpaper.
so, where can I find that option that you are talking about?

as first you must change the Wallpaper section. Personalize > Wallpaper. select Live Wallpapers. and select weather here.
in Lockscreen select Use Home wallpaper.
Thx mate! so I can use that animation weather only when I'm having the live wallpaper weather, right? It can be done without live wallpaper? ...anyway, thx a lot!

your welcome. yes you'll have live weather wallpaper. I don't know any way without live wallpaper.
I am using google launcher and when I try and change my background it does not change the lockscreen background too.
When I go to change the lockscreen background in settings it does not offer the same options to choose from as my normal background...
Not Sure why you are posting this in the Galaxy S6 forum since the question is about Google Launcher. It's not a Galaxy s6 question but, a Google questions.
However, it's been a while since I used Google's Launcher. But, when you choose a wallpaper, it should ask if you want to use it for either the Home Screen / Lock Screen or both.

Easiest way to take care of that is to go to your gallery app or whatever you use to view the image, select "More" in the upper corner, then "Set as wallpaper", then select "Home AND Lock Screen". Profit.

i use the google now launcher too, and i have no problems with this. after you choose wallpapers in the home screen. slide all the way to the right and choose wallpapers again, there you can choose where you want to change your wallpaper, home screen, lockscreen or both.
I can´t change my lockscreen now.
I´m not sure what I did, but now when I press the wallpaper option in settings, it only opens the themes app. It used to open a different menu where I could choose the wallpaper for the lockscreen or the homescreen.
