after a successful ruu, try a factory reset, if that doesnt fix the missing baseband/imei/etc, then it could be a hardware issue

yes, i think so, unless anybody has any other idea, i've only seen this in 2 possible cases:
1- bad hardware -> needs to be fixed
2- RUU flash, restores/reinitializes radio and modem

Hi, I would like to unroot my HTC One if possible. Or at least install the default ROM for it. If I have to install the default ROM, is there any way to make it update automatically? That I don't have to manually update the ROM at every new update?
Would appreciate any help!

Hey, thanks. I could still need some help though. I'm practically a absolute beginner, I've rooted my phone once, that's all. Could I talk to you over skype or something ? If you have time ?
I'm also uncertain as to which RUU file that belong to my HTC, no idea how to figure this out either ?

Your bootloader version is 1.57 which mean you need a 6.xx.707.x or a 5.xx.707.x rom not a 3.xx.707.x.

If the Rom already matches your firmware then there's no need to flash the firmware. You already have it.
Just flash the reset Rom

This is as close as you'll get at the moment http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-4-4-3-sense-6-6-09-401-5-100-stock-t2854300 But you could flash a stock recovery and install the last OTA to bring everything back in line.
If you found my posts helpful, no need to say thanks. There's a button for that
Thanks alot 'clsA' , i ll try and let you know... one of my question is not answered, DSP manager only comes with Cyanogenmod or its came with original stock version ? i just forgot it. if i back to original can i got Apollo and DSP manager back ?

Yeah I am aware of the downloads on Mike's blog, and I don't want to imply that @zuhriahamed would be so dumb.
But I've directed users there before warning them about the about the M8 downloads. But some how they still seem to make the mistake of downloading the wrong Rom lol.
Just decided it's safer to point to that thread as it only has the M7 stock Rom

If your bootloader is unlocked/re-locked and you have the tampered flag, you'll need s-off to be able to remove these and have a valid warranty
Yeah i know about this, I'm just looking for the stock rom first before doing anything.

probably @yatindroid could help with this, he's the expert of .707 stock rom! Maybe he have a nandroid or a stock rom for your version? You'll have to wait for his answer, I think we are not in the same timezone...

probably @yatindroid could help with this, he's the expert of .707 stock rom! Maybe he have a nandroid or a stock rom for your version? You'll have to wait for his answer, I think we are not in the same timezone...
yatin: he's looking for a 6.13.707.1 stock rom do you have anything that could help him (stock odex rom/backup/reset rom)?

In the meantime, can you suggest the best way to S-OFF a 1.57 hboot. I searched but there's too many ways to do it. Afraid I chose the wrong one and accidentally wiped my device. I really appreciate your help.

best way to s-off on 1.57 imo is sunshine but this exploit isn't free (but will only charge you if it work). Otherwise you can try a combination of arhd, bulletbroof kernel and firewater.

Sunshine is the only way now, Firewater has been officially discontinued

I upgraded from 4.4.2 to the 7.15.401.1 firmware in order to flash the GPE 5.1 rom

You flash stock RUU.exe
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Free mobile app
I did not flash the RUU, I had flashed the firmware 7.15.401.1 from https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LQDLpVZYyUpXPgC2sh1BvAS9Oo8B-fTiZU_JhpIH-fU/pubhtml#
And I am thinking that I overwrote the radio with a version that is not proper for my phone.
But I dont really have alot of knowledge about this so please advise me.

it wont effect your phone in that way, if you have signal, then go into your apn settings and reset them to defaults, you will then be taken to the first start up page again and have to select your operator again from the list of available operators, like you did when you first got the phone or when you install a new rom.
remove you IMEI and Serial number from your first post, its not good to post them, they guy who quoted you will also need to do the same.

just try it, its not going to hurt, just goto settings - mobile data - access point names - (3dot menu in the top right corner) select that and then select reset defaults.
Of course the baseband has changed, the newer firmware had a newer radio file in it, its not a radio file like your thinking though, its more of a software controller for a piece of hardw2are in your phone, just like every piece of hardware on your computer needs a driver, so does your phone.
The 401 firmware you flashed is basically WWE (World Wide English), if it had messed up you'd probably be hard bricked.

THanks, for explaining that to me
I just tried the same sim card in my galaxy s3 mini (unlocked) and it doesnt work in that phone at all (no calls or data). I think the sim may be defective, will get a new one and try again.
Thanks for your help
Edit: I did as you said in the m7 and even did a factory reset to make sure and results where the same. Looks like I got a bad sim card
@ Seanie280672: Thanks for your help bro
It just started working again after I installed ViperRom 7
Strange thing, just started working out of the blue but I am happy that is is resolved

Strange first time i see this. Are you sure your phone is sim-unlocked? Might be related to the TMO version installed on the phone. Maybe you could a try a custom rom or to convert to the international version (7.19.401.2) but will require s-off.

How did you resolve this issue? Experiencing the same thing (Greyed out Edit APN option) and would like to know how to fix it
Hey guys,i really Really need your help, need the official RUU for Device. my HTC One M7 is bricked,i previously installed HTC official RUU (developer Edition) but 6 months later, after a power drain it went off and the furthest it can boot is upto the HTC logo white screen.
Can't wipe data or perform a real format coz not a single partition can be mounted in both TWRP and CWM,it's hectic. i've tried all the mount methods in both fastboot and shell but nothing.
Getting that Invalid argument and unable to mount errors.
help me figure out the correct RUU please coz i think that's the only way out (if there's any)..Please, here's my Getvar

maybe an hardware problem then. You can try with another ruu if you want but it shouldn't make any difference.
