Okay so I have the nexus 6 and every time someone sends me a message or on Facebook messenger the photos save to my phone. How do I delete them. I don't want them in my phone at all. And I don't want to reset my phone. So how do I do that?
Thank you

The thing is they don't show up in my gallery. Just when I go to send a picture messgae or post a picture on Facebook it shows up. And I don't want them there. Do I need to download an app or what? I opened a message and now that photo in the message saved to my photos but not to my gallery. So I don't know.

All of a sudden I am unable to attach a file or picture in an email. When I create a new email and select insert and then picture, I am able to view all the pictures, photos I have on either the phone or SD card memeory. I then select one and I am brought back to the email but there is no attachment added. If i then goto Pictures and Videos, and click on a picture and select send nothing happens.
However I am able to send pictures, photos via MMS. Does anyone know why I cant email pictures, files, or photos? I have the default radio and software on my tilt. Thanks.
Anyone?

Simply put there are too many problems with this phone, its not worth to heavily mod it just to be able to use simple features like sending a picture text.
I am already looking for a new treo, this is the worst phone i have ever used in my life.
Once i get my new treo i will smash this HTC with a bat and post on youtube.
I hate this phone with more than a severe passion.

MizzenMast54 - Shut up.
gehcmatt - what ROM are you using?
This might sound daft but I'm at a loss. I got an email with a photo on it. The photo shows inline in the email and not as a separate attachment. I need to save the photo but pressing on it does nothing.
Any ideas?

I just tested this. It appears there is no way to save it. Tapping and holding does nothing and there are no options anywhere to save attachments. I think if it's in-line, you're screwed. I have seen this on other devices. They basically treat it like HTML.
Crazy.
Time to log this with HTC. Basically an email from an iPad and I assume iPhone will create this problem.
Hi,
I think the way the note 5 does pic messaging is a bit inconsistent. Sometimes, after selecting a pic I want to send (from the gallery app) it immediately drops the pic into the messaging app and then I just have to type in the recipients name in the top of the message. Often other times, after selecting the pic, I get the attached window pop up asking me to select the recipient.
Thanks
from the pic, when you share, doesn't it first show a list of apps you want to share through?
(Sent from another Galaxy via Tapatalk)
For me I just get to select the list of apps I want to send it with...I select "Textra" and bam..type in contact name select and send...I haven't had any issues with it over any other phone and it's very consistent.
Yes, it first shows me a list of apps I can attached the pic to. I select the stock messaging app and then that screen pops up that I showed.
Bumping this thread. Anyone else have this issue? I cant seem to fix it.
Thanks
After updating there is ABSOLUTELY no option to add a caption or "subject" Text to a picture in the native messaging app. On last version you select a picture from galley and a thumbnail of said picture would be inserted into the body of the MMS and you have the option to enter text. Now you have no option at all only option is to send the picture directly

I noticed this too, I don't understand why they'd do this :what::what:
Yes! Completely ridiculous! T-mobile of course has "no info" on the issue.
I guess there is still no fix for this? For some reason this is a huge let down. Something so simple that should have been left alone.
You can. First open the message app, select new message icon on bottom right hand side, add attachment, then you can write the caption. Lastly select recipient and send. It's a hassle but the only way to do it

Thanks for the help. This is better than nothing.
Hello,
I was trying to attach a saved note in gmail, but could not find it. Does anybody know how to do it? When I click on attach, it shows 2 options, namely, 'attach file' and 'insert from drive'. When I tap 'attach file', there are just pictures. videos, audio and internal storage. I read via google that the notes were saved in secured folders in previous notes. Is that also the case on this phone? If so, how else can I share the files, when replying to an email?
Cheers.
Note: I did a quick search on this forum, but did not find anything. (went 2 pages deep). If the solution already exists, kindly point me to the right direction.
The only way I know how to share a Samsung note is to open the note, hit share, you'll get a dialog box to share as.. Txt, PDF, etc,...
Pick one, then select the Gmail app...

Hi Whelmar,
Thanks for answering. That works perfectly if I am sending a new email, but its if I want to reply to an email, that's where the problem comes. Maybe there is a way to save the note as a jpeg or something?

Cronus, you can easily save a note as jpeg or PDF, save it in local storage and then open any gmail and attach it as file by selecting it as local file. I use Xplore File manager and it works like a charm with it. I am attaching few screenshots to make it easy. Let me know, if it works fr you
